  1. Entered the pit contest for Miami on Monday and got fingers and toes crossed and hundred dollar bills folded!!!!!!!!. Better believe the Miami crowd is going to be her wildest audience yet. Great move to film her shows here cuz its always a party .

  2. Several of my friends ( lifelong M fans) were scarred the S&S tour experience and decided to sit this one out expecting more of the same. Will be a smaller group of us attending the show compared to previous tours . the good news.....had a few frantic 911's about where to get tickets after the rehearsal pics hit the web....I think most shows will sell out as the tour gets underway and the media coverage rolls in.

gaga as the "new generations alternative to M" ? ..also an impact on sales and interest? quite possible.....the bitter fan wars probably don't help things.

  3. Makeup by Noel:

"Yes, I was there during the rehearsals and they ran through the entire show last night. It was like a private concert. Seriously every fans dream. I was lucky to be in attendance. Unfortunately I cannot give details per an agreement with the artist but trust me when I tell you her vision is beyond on this one."

wow...more hyped than ever for the tour...wonder if the published set list is accurate?

  4. Sooooo.....basically what your saying then is that MDNA is an uninspired album that Madonna could do without much effort. Nice.

Music and touring are her jobs yes, she is currently under a contract and obligated to perform those duties. However, wasn't it just "one of her jobs" when she was under her WB contract(s)?? She had as much obligation to do the work whether she felt like it or not with them as well.

Also your implication in that other thread that Gaga's show is somehow unique to Jamie King's "typical slick pop productions" is quite telling as well. Is that how it is? Anybody DARES say the SLIGHTEST little snide remark about LG and now MDNA is an album Madonna slept walked through while creating it and her shows are just your average, boring, run of the mill modern day pop productions? Mind you you said these things as a reaction of what could be perceived as "disses" people in this forum made toward LG. I think you need to not get fired up anytime anyone in the MADONNA FORUM doesn't think everything Gaga does is the next coming of Christ. Check the top of your page this isn't the Madonna AND Lady Gaga forum.

  5. Yeah touring wasn't her main focus back in those days, it was like a special treat. She was still in thespian mode.

Madonna is lucky she's selling as well as she is now off the back of an album that hasnt done so well at all. Next tour she's going to need a big hit, otherwise her future as a Rolling Stones/U2 juggernaut may be shaky. I hope Guy realizes that. No more of these half assed campaigns, especially when it's excellent music.

half assed campaigh???? She is working her a#s off to deliver the tour of her life and at the same time is trying to create some balance to allow herself to spend time with her family which makes perfect sense and is the right thing to do......SHE'S BEEN THERE DONE THAT AND HAS NOTHING TO PROVE TO ANYONE.. The album is killer and the tour will be another Madonna extravaganza...sold out or not.

Could care less what other MUCH YOUNGER artists are doing or achieving ...and frankly am tired of the unfair comparisons and expectations..the odds are they wont have half the career she continues to have...

Be grateful that after 30 years she still is giving us great music and has the energy and drive to embark on what could be the biggest tour of her career .

Chill out, Relax and enjoy the rare gift and talent that is Madonna while we still have her ..She has taken us on a tremendous journey so far that I truly hope will continue for many years to come. Hope she knows how much she is appreciated....

  6. From Digital Spy

Madonna will have a special morning dedicated to her on UK television next week when she will be interviewed by Dan Wootton, to be spread across both ITV1's Daybreak and Lorraine shows next Friday, April 20.

Wootton revealed that it will be Madonna's only UK interview this summer as she promotes her latest album MDNA.

In a short clip ahead of next week's broadcast, Madonna revealed what she does and doesn't miss about living in the UK.

"I miss riding my bike everywhere, I miss the British sense of humour," she said. "What [do] I miss the least? The congestion charge."

Madonna will talk about a range of subjects including her thoughts on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Adele and motherhood.

The words DAMAGE CONTROL and PANIC BUTTON spring to mind. A few weeks ago we were told not to think "traditionally".

Now the album is in freefall in major markets they are back peddling and resorting to more "traditional" promo

    :rotfl::rotfl:

And sorry but who the fuck wants to hear about her riding a bike and not paying the congestion charge?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

for heavens sake, these posts are really getting ridiculous.. she is the process of rehearsing for a MAJOR TOUR that will have her on the road for the rest of this year and possibly part of the next!!! The woman is 53, has 4 kids and has reigned supreme for 30 years....be f#cking grateful she is still giving us music. NAME one OTHER artist who at her age gives their fans this much....some of the people posting on here really need to put things into perspective and stop being so"ignorant and judgmental"... :) like the press they criticize.

  7. http://www.updt.me/go?item=deadmau5-madonna-feud-was-the-worst&t=fb

DeadMau5 Madonna Feud Was THE WORST

    Watch video HERE

Seems Deadmau5 is experiencing a little post-feud remorse ... admitting things didn't go exactly as planned in his cyber-feud with Madonna.

The super DJ was at Pearson International Airport in Canada yesterday ... when he was asked about the Madonna thing ... and he replied, "How is it?! It's terrible."

As we previously reported, Deadmau5 had accused the singer of promoting drug use at a recent electronic music festival ... but Madge fired back, claiming he totally misinterpreted her comments ... and scolded him for not addressing his gripe privately.

Now, it's obvious Deadmau5 just wants the controversy to go away ... saying, "It's just a little trite ... everyone will forget about it."

he looks like a drug addict lol...seems pretty pleased with himself

  8. Why this era is so messy and hush hush...?

unusually messy and disorganised for M and her team ....looks like they only focused on the short term..i.e preparing for the superbowl since then everything ( tour , single releases etc) feels like its being patched together as they go along....further, she is way out of her league if compared to her younger contemporaries when it comes to Social media and current marketing trends.

  9. i even think like a prayer used re-recorded live studio vocals.

mark my words: she will get bashed.

why rehearse for like a month and than come up with this.......playbacking.

it all seemed rushed and wanting to do too much in 12 minutes....anyway....i love madonna but ive always said that i prefer a less perfect live vocal than playbacking......she doenst need it and this will harm her.

at this kind of event most artists will lip synch unless they just intend to stand there and sing....She was all over the stage and danced her ass off...in addition, without being able to do proper sound checks it would be truly a huge risk. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE
