Don't kill me, but I don't think Good Life vibes are good for a powerful lead single.
It feels like a product if its time and not strong enough to start with a BANG the new era.
-
No teaser today, so that's one big difference from the MX rollout lol.

"never look back" feels more thematically madonna-esque, especially for a lead single. "close your eyes" feels more introspective to me?
Definitely! But the hints to “eyes” make me think that CYE could be closer to the real title than NLB.

Just thinking it makes sense along the lines of “what are you looking at, close your eyes, feel the music, touch my body” kinda vibe
Yes! Very Madonna.
It also reminds me of Skin (I close my eyes, I close your eyes) and Erotica (Just close your eyes). And it's something very Sabrina too.

Close your eyes?
That's the most popular guess on Infinity and makes a lot of sense with other comments from even months before.
I remember a comment about how “You'll See” playing during her entrance in the D&G show makes sense with the lead single.
Also, Dazed has been using “what are you looking at?” and
emoji constantly. And DrownedMadonna’s current template in Twitter/X is all about Madonna's eyes.
On the other hand, Dazed has also said that the song with “gold” in the title is for a different track. And also, user Magical Green Unicorn received a like on his response to DrownedMadonna when he said “Golden Hour”. Which is curious, because it sounds similar to “Goldern Heart”, based on the
posted initially by Dazed some time ago.

It would clearly be best to have the album available for pre-save immediately at the same time as the single release. So when interested people go to listen to the song they can hit pre-save at the same time. Delaying it a week will similarly suck some of the air out of it and lose out on all of those more casual pre-saves that would be generated at the same time when people are most drawn in to check out the single. Much less guarantee they’re gonna come back again later to do that vs killing two birds with the same stone at the same time. What would the strategic advantage be for holding off on the album pre-order until later? Especially for a legacy act, with every extra step you require your potential audience to take, there is more and more likelihood that you’re going to lose more and more of them.
Again, everything makes perfect sense. But I have a couple of doubts…
I've seen that some acts tend to premiere their lead on a Thursday's night at a certain hour (for example, iirc Manchild premiered at 8:00 pm). Maybe M and Sab will do the same, to get the maximum exposure when everyone is still up (?).
But also, a lot of songs premiere simultaneously on big radio shows (like the ones on BBC or Apple Music 1) and streaming, on Fridays. I would have thought that this could be the same scenario, but idk anymore.
Everything is still a mystery, it's amazing that not a single detail has been leaked by anyone.

I see it very simply.
If the performance of Sabrina & Madonna goes viral next weekend following their time together at Coachella, and everyone comments on how good the song is, Madonna fans AND Sabrina fans will be looking for the song to stream.
If isn’t available because the performance was just a tease/preview then it’s a massive missed opportunity for a lot of streams it would have otherwise enjoyed.
Attention spans are short nowadays when it comes to new songs. To not have the song available to stream after the performance in my opinion would be stupid.
Yes to all of this.
If they're indeed performing their collab together next friday (and everything points out to that right now), then the song has to be already available that day.
Which definitely raises the obvious question: when is the teasing for this will start?

umm thanks for your candor but if you watch it without any judgments you'd be immensely entertained.
If I have to switch off my judgment to enjoy something, I’m not sure it’s actually that good for me. I prefer when entertainment doesn’t rely on me lowering the bar.
-
Now that Camp M seems to have fully settled in LA, do you think we’ll start seeing hints of what’s coming next week?

you havent seen her show last year? you're missing out..t's on youtube buddy.
That kind of stuff is not for us, but I can perfectly understand why it works for you.

Seems like her team is already in LA. Curious that they have arrived with almost one week of anticipation, but I guess that if this release is going to be huge, they will definitely want to control every single detail.
Also, where do you think that Madonna could fit in Sabrina's set? I think that as a replacement of Susan Sarandon's cool speech and Will Ferrell's skit, which both sum up almost 10 minutes. Enough time to perform their collab and a mash-up of a couple songs.

Latest post from Linderbergboy on Madonna Infinity
For you disbelivers with the dates I've handed out earlier. I apologise for the misleading confusion and the drama it caused. I'm here as a fan now and I won't share much information in the future, if nothing at all. Not an employee doing what I'm told to do, relating to the 2015 RH leaks, avoiding any further incidents of that sort. I published this over 2 weeks ago. (See screenshot, and Yes I was first with this info. Go figure that out!) And there's another post I couldn't find published 2 months ago with the same dates. And to make things clear: the 90's house single I've been talking about since late last year with Italian lyrics is NOT the Sabrina collaboration, most likely coming out next week. That was intended to be the lead and its solo. No featuring. The expensive music video shot taking place in London, and reported by The Sun newspaper, is for the Madonna and Sabrina duet. She was there recording her scenes late at night. If some of you didn't noticed my post about that. And for those of you worried it might be just like the new Gaga song "Runway", Madonna is doing the most part and the song is a club banger. A strong candidate to her earlier hit "Sorry", but sexier. And there's a duet with the one and only Lady Gaga called "Kiki" coming on May the 1st. The new album contains both dance and ballads. Looking forward to next week! Remember to buy some dancing shoes.
Please, let's not replicate what that person is saying on Infinity because he is just an opportunist.
- April 17th date was mentioned by Dazed
- The Coachella rumor was insinuated by user Magical Green Unicorn and later “confirmed” by Dazed
- The “Sorry” comment was mentioned by Dazed months ago (he said that her voice sounded like Sorry, not that there's a song that sounds like Sorry).
- The DWP duet rumors started this week
- “Dance and ballads” was insinuated by Ragazzo iirc, when he said something among the lines of “we will have time to recover our breath”.
- “She was there recording her scenes at late night” was mentioned by The Sun article. And also, someone said something about her arriving late to the shooting if I'm not wrong.
- “The expensive music video in London being for the Sabrina collab” was alao mentioned by Dazed yesterday, who said that “all of his info is pointing to that”.
Lindaburger took all that and is presenting it as new. He was absent from Infinity during the last weeks and has only appeared again to rehash every piece of Dazed's comments and the rumours from the last two weeks.

Sabrina goes on at Coachella in about 2hrs. If the rumours that Madonna is going to appear on stage with her tonight then it would be highly likely an announcement will be made straight after to try leverage buzz from Coachella. I just hope if it’s true it goes better than the Drake performance.
She's gonna perform with Sabrina next friday. But in case she also appears today, it could be during the arrest segment of Sabrina's show. Here are a few examples:
It could work to tease that something is coming next week.
-
Yeah, it's happening.
-
So, the only somewhat confirmed thing is that she will be on Coachella next friday.
And the most recent rumor rn comes from well known user DeuxMoi, who says that she will be Sabrina's arrest guest today.
Thar last rumor is new even to Dazed, but if it happens, it could mark the start of the teasing for the single.
-
New from Dazed:
”As far as I know Madonna is appearing only on Week 2 (4/17), haven’t heard anything about today so if she does make an appearance I wasn’t made aware.”
-
If it's gonna be on Sabrina's set, I predict two songs: one classic and the collab with Sabrina. If it's a full set, 7 - 8 songs at max: new song, HU, Vogue, Into the Groove, Thief of Hearts and a couple more.
The era starts next week and I still can't process it… -
I love 4 Minutes too, it was a killer lead and I've heard it everywhere. Good times.
-
Mark your calendars, guys. How are we gonna spend that friday night here in the forum?
-
New from Dazed:
”Ok clearing up some doubts,
M is doing Coachella on 4/17, if she’s on tomorrow I wasn’t aware
The ‘italian words’ song I teased before is NOT the one with Sabrina, no idea if that song is still lead single. I heard that in November, no updates since then.“
-
Btw Dazed just confirmed it:
”Sorry idk if something's being announced today (doubt it) but Coachella is in.
”
And when asked if it's only gonna an appearance with Sabrina to perform something like MG, he said:
”Nah, it's more than one song.”
-
I hope she doesn't archive her feed 'cause I really like most of her recent posts. She could just start uploading teasers, there's no need to wipe everything.
-
Oh, I see it has been posted before lol.
Also I've just noticed that my post feels like this
-
I don't want to alarm you guys, but Dazed just posted a cryptic message: a Vogue gif with text “buongiorno” and a
emoji.
Some of us are taking it as something happening today (a teaser, a post, etc). He has implied multiple times that the new single is inspired by Vogue with italian elements.

Yeah, I coincide with both of you guys. That's the only part that lowers my excitement a bit: it's not a strong song.
House has evolved a lot through time, but Good Life is not precisely a timeless song that has resisted the test of time.
Guess we'll see: I trust in M and Stuart!
