She's been talking about a "new method", and I suppose that it's related to a way of showcase her new music.

The meltdowns here will be huge if she decides to skip a physical release for this album and goes just the digital route first (and tbh I will love it, tho đŸ€©).

I've been wondering what's going on in her camp this silent week, but I'm glad to see her accompanied by a CANADA director. These people are amazing. đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

Do you guys know if any current popular artists still release physical copies?

I collect music, but can't imagine most people paying for physical copies when streaming is so easily available.

tbh first I heard about the drag queens (and that one in particular not going to their tour to be in the video) I knew there would be complaints or attempts at shade afterwards. it would be naive to have fantasies about getting an important role on short notice. I certainly hope this Monet wasn't that unrealistic about it and asked in advance about everything. the queens on that podcast just act jealous and immature. they don't even know if M was there, so they probably don't talk with Monet

From what I've seen on social media, there has been major controversy about Monet leaving the tour to be in the video. Not necessarily in a negative way at all.

It just seems like the drag queens are extremely pissed at the the tour managers for not allowing the drag queens a couple of days off when a major opportunity arises.

Monet does seem like the type of person who will say if she was "shaded" when she went to the video shoot. Can't imagine her role being that big in the video anyway.

She hasn’t lost the community but tbh her position has kind of faltered. I would love to see her regain the unquestioned worship within it that she used to have and always deserves.

It's interesting because I feel that she's always been pretty polarizing with homos.

Met many who are fans, but also met many that dislike her.

It just became noticeably worse during the past several years. Social media doesn't help.

Bitch Im Madonna should have been the first single. Devil pray is good, i like it, but i cringe at the part about drugs, whissky and glue...lol

The production is great on devil pray, just don't like how her vocals were recorded.

Know fans love it, but I'm not crazy about it tbh. I usually skip it.đŸ˜©

If people on here can talk for weeks about Madonna's ass or hair style then I think that we can indulge a bit of politics.  At least it is a message.

I hear what you're saying. I just get sick of most political arguments because I hear it on a regular basis at work and with friends/family.

Also, one of my favorite albums of all time is American Life, and we all know that was a very political project.

It’s not so much about politics but more so virtue signaling. The hyper-sensitive crowd has always existed to an extent. The difference between then and now is that the rise of social media has allowed these leeches to gain a platform to spew their bullshit 24/7.

Yeah social media provides a platform for narcissistic people who superficially virtue signal or claim outrage over petty crap. It's both interesting and toxic. lol

    Back to Madonna now.....

I just read this. IMO you summed it up perfectly. Some of her cringeworthy IG posts freak me out because I don’t understand what world of talking points she’s living in when it comes to her career. Didn’t her experience and spiritual teachings emphasize restraint and abstention in terms of reacting to criticism, or was I following an entirely different icon all these years? That said, I have a very good feeling about the music she will share this year, and am entirely prepared to remove the social media persona from the equation.

I think social media continue to make so many people behave differently online than they normally would.

There is so much extreme negativity and criticism on Madonna's social media that it must effect her if she's actually reading the comments.
