  1. In Raider defense let me just add that cleansing for a German really is s highly problematic word. You could never use it talking about a subject other than taking a bath or doing laundry. It's just an absolute NO talking about people so I understand his sensitivity. Why do people like Spazz get a free pass and Raider gets attacked? I don't get it. Everybody is quick to say oh he's from Egypt so it's different. Well it's different for Raider as a German too. Please keep it in mind.

  2. The vanity of this man is beyond embarrassing. The fact that he feels pressed to respond to supposedly false numbers of people at his inauguration is so pathetic, you really have to wonder where his priorities are? I still can't believe this man is the President of the US for fucks sake. It's like the worst ever political skit.

I m most horrified for Europe too. I have hope in Germans they won't vote for far right, but the French? If Marie Le Pen is chosen for a president of France, EU would die a slow death (or quick) and so will the idea of unified Europe. We ll have again small nations working against one another rather than lots of nations working together as it is nowadays. I understand we are facing a lot of problems and we have to work on border control/security of EU but far right and nationalism (in the bad sense) is not the answer. Hope French ppl doesn't disappoint, I think the Germans won't. We have the Dutch elections too :(

You have no idea what kind of 'politicians' are creeping out of there holes over here in Germany and WHAT kind of rhetoric they are already shamelessly sporting.  It's terrifying, Trump seems like a cuddly teddy bear compared to them, though it's his footsteps those people are kind of walking in. He stupidly opened the gates for those faschist nationalists.

I agree with some of the previous posters that he might form some sort of political union with Putin against the EU. And once the EU is passé, Putin will take on Trump, mark my words...

  4. We all get what we deserve, so does the US as a country with Trump. God knows what's next for us Europeans, the outlook isn't very promising either.

We all lived in a bubble so far. I always watched documentaries about historic events, the many wars of the last century and I always been convinced it's something I would never have to deal with in real life. It's so sad to see that we are heading there again and not because 'others' are a threat to us but because we  are doing it to ourselves, getting all raged up and radical, angry and afraid.

I wonder how he feels about Russia now.  He must have told Putin hundreds of times to destroy that tape and Putin would go "Yes Donald but you know what you gotta do in return". And now that this tape scandal has surfaced Donanld must be livid and think of revenge against Putin... you gotta watch this one unfold. Meryl Streep is the least of his worries now.

You gotta give it to the Russians though. They're truly the ones pulling the strings in the USA.

My question is why wasn't this Hotel pissing prossies scandal divulged during election? Yes the Russians did help him win. No question about it.

Back in our days behind the Iron Curtain our government would have had wet dreams about a scenario like that. The Russians controlling the POTUS...

  6. AS IF Marlene wouldn't have done ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to keep her looks from the thirties or forties. Who is she kidding??? And she did a lot by the standards of her time. Including locking herself up and hiding from the world, sobbing every time she got confronted with her past beauty... yeah that's graceful aging...

  7. I hope for all American people you can manage to live with each other's opinions. And you don't let others manipulate you towards even more hate, there seems to be a lot of it already. At this point, looking from outside, the Civil War comes to mind. Don't let a handful of people profit from your distress and anger, you know they can't wait for it, really.

    I know it's a bit much, but I'm worried.

So let's embrace now for a Marie LePenn victory, and let's keep our eyes open to other places like Austria, Netherlands, Germany. Things go wrong so fast that with all the refugee crisis there, i wouldn't be surprised if a new party goes up and tries to "fix Germany".

The AFD ( far right) is already on an impressing rise here. It's happening...

Well, this is the way Americans tend to see history because they won WWII (together with France, Great Britain and the Soviet Union). Fact remains Germany was a democracy before the Third Reich and people were free. The concept was not brought to Germany by the U.S.A.

And if it comes to learning, the U.S. should learn from Germany what it means to have a functioning universal heatlhcare. Since 1881.

I said that's what we were taught, to look up to US because these were the virtues they lived. And democracy did only really work after WWII because people were ready for it and accepted the mindset that's needed to make it work. And it worked because everyone, including France and Britain excepted the leading role of the US.

well it's all a huge disappointment, but no real surprise.
