Tracks that are not actual album:

  2. Arena shows are so much better to attend because everything is closer, acoustic is better etc, but this is not the case for dvd...

I feel so much more hyped watching to a concert dvd recorded in a stadium... I hope she would record it in Japan, there are currently 2 dates at Saitama Super Arena, and it has 37,000 capacity which is like a small stadium...

Oh god, I wished they recorded MDNA Tour dvd in Yankee Stadium, it would just be majestic...

  3. Considering that M is still adding more shows to asian/australia leg, I think there will definitely more dates than 81.

I don't think that she will do another leg, but there is always probability that she might take some time and do more shows like S&S Tour...

  4. Cher toured at 68, Tina toured at 68. I'd say M has at least 11 more years of touring time, so maybe 3 more tours? And no, I don't see any of them being a greatest hits as I don't see her giving up on releasing new music.

Agree, I don't think she will do a greatest hits tour anytime soon.

I think 2 more shows, 3rd one might be a greatest hits tour in 11 years if she ever considers it, of course, since she seems like she hates the idea of doing one...

But even if she does a Greatest Hits Tour, I wouldn't like her to perform album versions of songs from 80s. She said so good, sonically they sound less appealing, and we all know she can recreate them flawlessly, maybe like Material Girl RH Tour remix. A renovated sound without getting so further away from the actual sound of the song.

  5. "So honestly, I didn't really try to sit down and get my head around it until last March. That's unusual for me because I usually start thinking way, way, way in advance."

I've seen S&S, MDNA, Rebel Heart Tour live. All 3 Madonna shows I saw were amazing. But in my opinion, this quote explains why Rebel Heart Tour is not as detailed as recent tours.

Especially, MDNA Tour was ridiculous production wise. Every performance had so many special details in them.

She danced ridiculously good, choreographies was the best of Madonna with The Confessions Tour, backdrop videos were out of this world creative, and detailed, for me they were not only the best Madonna did, but the best backdrop videos that have ever been created for a concert. MDNA stage again was again incredible. I went to MDNA with 8 high school friends, and we watched S&S Tour, The Confessions Tour DVD before going to concert; even tho they knew Madonna's show standard, their jaws dropped countless times during MDNA show.

I wished she released MDNA Tour DVD without instagram style editing...

EDIT: lol at me. I wanted to say how Rebel Heart is more intimate, and stripped down compared to MDNA Tour, then I got carried by the memory of MDNA Tour =D ps: by stripped down, I mean it is stripped down in Madonna's standards which is still so much more full of things compared to other artist's tours who can't even engineer stage lightning properly.

  6. Deriving by the people I was surrounded by, and the people I saw around, crowd's being dead was related to the crowd's being old in my opinion... Mean Age was atleast 40.

Even thirsty gays who seemed so excited did not have energy to dance their asses off...

  7. Great show. First row 121 were great seats, especially for Heartbreak City/Love Don't Love Here Anymore.

She seemed unhappy with the crowd but everybody around me was standing and singing. There was good energy.

Except for 3 people who were dancing 2 rows lower than me, I was the only one dancing all the time in the section 102... Me and my friend were just like wtf is wrong with these people we should have been in section 103 where everbody was standing up :rotfl:

  8. I danced my ass off, and had time of my life. If you were in section 102 higher than row 11, there is a 100% chance that you saw me....

There was a old hag sitting behind me who touched me 5 times to sit down 5 times until holy water, then I told her "if you fucking touch me again, I will call the security, GTFO." Then she did not even try, so I was good....

EDIT: $90 floor tickets make me so mad...Even tho, I kinda am mad that I did not get these floor tickets instead of $190 lower bowl tickets, I don't really give a fuck how much I paid, I have money to spend. But I especially feel bad for huge Madonna fans who bought obstructed view tickets for $60-something whereas they could get so much better tickets for $40... Those are huge fans who spend money they barely have for Madonna, they should have not been experiencing this mess....

  9. I feel you. This is unusual for Madonna, I don't think is that common, but it happens when the pricing is way off or the demand is overestimated (in artists in which no matter how cheap tickets are, people won't go). In madonnas case is the pricing that's was fucked up and turned away many casual fans, while the top price remains the same, many sections that were priced 375 used to be 190 in previous tours. They overs estimated the amount of people willing to pay 375 and fcuked the real fans in the process. I hope they learnt their lesson for next time

I hope so. That's why bothered me the most. I wouldn't feel this disappointed if it wasn't Madonna, but I feel punished for being a huge fan...

Anyways, I still am excited for the show

  10. I am officially disgusted by concert culture of North America.

Yes, we know that they can legally do whatever they want the price... But guess I am not used to it...

No concert ticket was discounted in Istanbul, my hometown, even the show wasn't sold-out.

For example: Gaga played in front of 20,000 people at a venue where JT played for 32,000 people in Istanbul; yet tickets were never discounted ...

  11. is she really flopping?

I don't think so... Tickets were too expensive to start with, and it is still a good tour.

It is expected that this tour doesn't sell as good as recent ones, because RB doesn't have a radio hit, plus MDNA Tour had the power of Superbowl behind it... Look at Prism Tour of Flop Perry who can't sing for her life... It sells good, only because of Superbowl. Same for Beyoncé, people were so hyped for that mundane album because of her superbowl performance...

  12. I am mad that they lowered ticket prices. Tickets I bought for $180 dollars[5th October show] (excluding taxes) is lowered to 90 dollars for 6th October show.

EDIT: Being a fan, and buying tickets right when tour was announced literally costed me $200..

  13. Rebel Heart is a better album in my opinion.

But I feel like MDNA had more songs whose melody was moving, was perfect to create choreographies for, that were literally made to be performed live. Like Girl Gone Wild, GangBang, Beautiful Killer, I'm Addicted...

  14. It's really difficult to speculate on the gross per concert right now. But certain things have to be considered compared to previous tours, particularly MDNA. Firstly, although the price range seems to remain the same as MDNA, that is really quite deceiving. For example, at MSG, tons of seats that were previously priced at $175 for MDNA are priced at $360 this time for RHT. In other words, they expanded the area for the top tier price ranges. Some seats that were $90 for MDNA are now $175 for RHT. Secondly, even if the stage is bigger for RHT, let's not forget that there is no pit this time around. So it kinda evens out the space occupied by the bigger RHT stage. Thirdly, although she is not playing stadiums this time around, the ticket prices in Asia are ridiculously more expensive. In Manila for example, the entire floor & first few rows of the area above the floor are priced between $1200-1500. The next level is priced at $650. The two least expensive levels are at $180 & $75 but these are the upper tiers only. I think Hong Kong & Taiwan are similarly priced. So right now, it is really not a good gauge to compare it to her previous tours cuz the pricing is very different even if the average capacity is smaller. What could be a factor are the cities that are underselling like Detroit & Atlantic City where prices have to be dropped but this may be offset by the addition of more Asian dates & the rumored return to NY for more shows next year. I'm dying to see the first batch of boxscores so we we can have an idea of the gross per show, at least for the US and Europe.

True... Ticket prices for asian concert are about the same with North American concert due to their all being arena shows.

I saw MDNA Tour in Istanbul (Stadium show), and tickets were lot cheaper. Top tier a.k.a. Standing front row tickets were for 635 Turkish Lira ($317.5), rest of general admission was for 165 Turkish Lira ($82.5). Bleacher tickets were ranging from $55 to $190.

She simply makes arena show tickets lot more expensive... But still it might not be able to even it out. Because M made $6,219,598 from that Istanbul show (48,000 attendance). The most she made from a single arena show is not nearly close to it.

But I don't think Madge cares about boxscore honestly. At this point in her career, she has all the money that she will ever need =D

  15. Well the tickets in the front rows were over $1000 and now they've been lowered to $355 so maybe they lowered the section you're talking about to $90 by accident? Or maybe they discounted a selection of them to help sell them.

You can be pretty sure all those $355 tickets up in the stands will get marked down a few days before the date. It;s sold up pretty well for a second night but they'll want to fill the empty seats up.

If so, I will be mad, because I paid $170($192 tax included) for a ticket in section 12

Ps: I still have no idea why some tickets in lower bowl are for $170, while some are for $355... There is literally no difference... It is not about the row either. My ticket is row 11, (rows are starting from 5 in ACC), there were $355 tickets in higher rows... Inform me please if you know why ??? I've been wondering since I bought my ticket.

  16. The ACC is actually a very good venue. The 100s are fine and with the long catwalk, I'm sure they will be even better this time. I saw S&S from the last row of the 100s and it was still good.

Thank goodness she is not playing Rogers Centre (a.k.a. Skydome). An awful venue with horrible views and muddy sound.

Unfortunately, stadium concerts suck unless you have front row standing tickets. Couple years ago when I saw bon jovi, I had tickets on the bleachers of a stadium, couldn't even hear the songs properly...

  17. It was the smoke controversy during rehearsals

And also it was raining so she skipped the first act, she started with Express Yourself and she also started two hours late.

OMG I know I'm late but I need to tell this. I was in the front row at MDNA Tour Istanbul Show, and I was smoking cigarettes.

I'm glad she did not make the same thing to me during the soundcheck. I would just sit and cry...
