Yay say hi!!!
I'll be in section 101 row 2!
-
I'll be there! Can't wait!
-
Rebel Heart acoustic with a very stripped down folksy feel. then she smashes her guitar midway through RH and performs Bitch Im Madonna and the theatrics commence.
I kinda like this.
-
I'd be ok with her skipping MDNA songs. Her tours are generally so heavy with tracks from the current album that when she tours again there is really no need to repeat those songs....unless it was a big hit. In that respect, I'd be ok with her also skipping Hard Candy tracks. Although, I loved the MDNA version of Candy Shop.
-
I definitely don't want Iconic...not a bad song but not a favorite of mine...just don't see it doing anything for the atmosphere.
Really Rebel Heart only has a few uptempo tracks / Living for love, bitch I'm madonna, Unapologetic bitch - the rest are mid tempo.
The audience as a whole would probably welcome a classic without complaint.
-
I'd love "Best Night" .... Slow but could be a very awesome opening...making it the best night of our lives!
-
For MDNA I was at Boardwalk Hall, but I was in the Golden Triangle. I did see the virtual pictures, but I was just afraid the catwalk would end further away from me. I just have to decide which tickets to keep.
Good luck with the decision - they are both prime spots, really. It's hard to tell exactly where the catwalk will truly end.

Madonna: Everybody
Like A Virgin: Like a Virgin
True Blue: Papa Don't Preach.
Like A Prayer: Express Yourself
Erotica: Erotica
Bedtime Stories: Secret
Ray Of Light: Ray of Light
Music: Don't Tell Me
American Life: Love Profusion
Confessions On A Dancefloor: Jump
Hard Candy: Give it 2 me
MDNA: Girl Gone Wild
Rebel Heart: Joan of Arc
I know you said only pick one, but for Rebel Heart I'd have to pick "S.E.X." to go with the rebel side. But, I'll go with Joan of Arc to play by the rules.

I thought that about 105 too. It just stinks because ticketmaster won't let you sell back VIP tickets.
I think 107 would give you a great view of the end stage - and being in row AA (first row) with aisle seats is pretty good. To be honest, when a show as a runway/catwalk - there is no perfect seat - you're always going to be far for certain moments and close for others. Did you use Boardwalk Halls virtual view from their website to give you an idea of what your view will look like? have you been there before? It's quite small compared to other arenas. The runway is going to take up the entire floor if it's as long as it looks - which is a good thing for those of us more towards the back.
-
I have 2 sets of tickets and I don't know which ones I should keep for Boardwalk Hall. I have Section: 107 Row: AA Seats:1,2 and they are VIP….and I have Section 105 Row E Seats: 11,12. What would be the best view?
105 is closer but a higher row. I think 105 would give you the best view overall in my opinion. The seating chart for Atlantic City doesn't have the catwalk coming out quite as far as the other venues, however, I think it's just the way they have it drawn up - I know the runway is going to be the same size everywhere.

Crazy for You and Take a Bow -a MUST
Of course her reinventions of VOGUE are always interesting
Joan of Arc needs to be acoustic and Best Night sounds something she could be really creative and sensual with on stage.
I'm obsessed with "Best Night" - I actually would like it to open the show! Slow, yes, but it could work.
-
I would like the following set-list - or something similar:
Best Night
Everybody/Bitch I'm Madonna
Into The Groove
Dress You Up
Living For Love
Who's That Girl
La Isla Bonita
Don't Tell Me
Take a Bow
Deeper and Deeper
S.E.X.
Unapologetic Bitch
Inside Out
Holy Water/Vogue
Bad Girl
Devil Pray
Messiah
Like a Prayer
Music
Jump/Ray of Light
Causing a Commotion
Joan of Arc
Ghosttown
Holiday

Interesting. People often point to Vogue as the definitive Madonna song but it's hard to say if there really is just one, she has quite a few to choose from. In one of my classes at uni someone, during a presentation, described Madonna as "a pop singer most famous for her song 'Material Girl'"
Anyway, if a "definitive" song exists, I would say Vogue is definitely a top contender. It needs no explanation, it is simply a timeless classic that will be played and danced to for generations to come, probably for as long as there's music on earth.
I definitely think she has more than one song that could be considered the "definitive" Madonna song - She has so many iconic hits but there's just something about "Vogue"....
-
"Vogue" is probably my all time favorite Madonna song - when I hear "Madonna", I think "Vogue".
-
I really can't wait to see this set-up since the catwalk is coming out so far - I really hope it does come out as far as it looks because at one of my shows I'm closer to the end stage. I don't think there's really a perfect seat though, because she's going to be all over the stage! I can't wait!
-
One of her her best re-inventions!
-
Crazy thought, and it would be very difficult for Madonna and maybe impossible, but since she has so many classics and greatest hits - how would you feel if Madonna played two nights per city, one night classics and one night new album only? The same stage could be used, but one set-list would be purely classics/greatest hits and then the next night Madonna could do ONLY "Rebel Heart" tracks - this show could be less technical even. I would love this so much! If advertised properly (so people didn't get confused) could it be a big hit? or am I crazy?
-
It's hard to say, but I have a feeling "Dress you up" will be on the list - since she sang it with Ellen, she may be feeling that song at the moment. Other than that, I have no idea, really, because Rebel Heart has so many tracks on it and I have a feeling she's going to want to include most of them.
As much as I like "Vogue" and "Like a prayer", and would welcome them to any set-list - I'd be ok if she left them off this time (although, during "Holy Water" - they could include "Vogue"). Also, since Sticky & Sweet and MDNA were so album heavy set-list wise, I'd be OK with not having anything from those albums featured on the tour. Come to think of it, so was "Confessions" but I'd be ok if she threw "Hung Up" or "Jump" in there somewhere.
As for the opening song, a classic is always welcome and gets the crowd going, but I would LOVE "Best Night" to open the show - just listening to the lyrics is a great way to start the night and set the tone. On the slower side, but could be great visually and maybe even just half performed and then a fast song for the second track.
There's just so many songs that haven't been performed in a long time and some that never were before (Take a Bow) - I'd just like to see some shocking choices this time around. Shocking, in a good way of course. "Spanish Lesson" need not be repeated!
-
The slamming door at the end is just....perfection.
I absolutely love this song.
-
S.E.X.
Best Night
Inside Out
Messiah
Holy Water
Devil Pray
Living For Love
Unapologetic Bitch
Heartbreak City
Body Shop
-
I love the Girlie Show! Never saw it live (too young) but so many great performances! The versions of "Express Yourself" and "Deeper and Deeper" are so good!
-
This tbh. I'm not feeling the remix at all.
The remix makes it more repetitive - I can see it being mixed together for an extended version on tour.
-
and please Madonna....sing this song on tour and light a single candle with an almost pitch black stage. It could be so dramatic and perfect!
-
god when she sings i light a candle here in the dark
just amazing
fuck i breakdown
completely agree! I also like towards the end when she changes the way she sings "and you find that you LoVe me too....." the note change is perfection.
