Didn't she get their 'lifetime' award in 1986, the equivalent to the present 'MJ' award?Other artists have gotten the MJ thingy in the last decade, for Madonna to get it now would be like a slap in the face

If the show in is Aug (only 2 months away) and by then the song 'somehow' is doing something, she absolutely MUST go on there! She's the queen of the VMAs and dunno how many years it's been since she performed on there. It would be the ideal show and audience for her to pimp out this song! Fck the Billboard awards and the like. VMAs is where she needs to save it up for. By August, it will have been several months since Fallon or any other major appearance so she'll have created someway of a need.
Her last performance was in 2003, last time winning is 1999 for Beautiful Stranger
(Die Another Day should have won over Loose Yourself in on '03) and last appearance was in 2009 for the Michael speech.VMAs seem irrelevant nowadays,the show itself is just a big excuse to promote MTV's show and cheestastic teeny movies it backs up
But would still love to see her on it, great promo for the tour if she decides to perform it

The demo still has a strong acoustic sound and it's structured perfectly. The demo has so much soul and the chorus soars effortlessly.
And what's all this talk about how the demo is EDM? Do you guys know what EDM even stands for? Electronic dance music. I don't hear an overabundance of synths or unbearable big room drops in the demo.
The album version is just an acoustic demo slapped on with a lazy drum pattern and distorted bass. It's just so....basic.

I think people who are in their early 20s right now have a soft spot for AL-COAD-HC..that was the period they discovered M and started to follow her every moveI just don't see how some of you can put super vintage, super dated sound albums over albums like American Life, Confessions and Rebel Heart! I think with each generation pop music gets more polished and perfected. Some of the 80s stuff is unbearable to listen to because of the amount of cheese!! But that's just my opinion so don't burn me please!
I know they're classics but I rarely listen to her first 3 albums (except her obvious hit singles).I can't help feel a little disconnect since I wasn't even born when they came out(of course timeless music will always be just that--timeless) while with Music,AL,COAD or HC, even though they're considered to be musically 'inferior' to such classics, I listen to them more often because they undoubtedly acted as an AMAZING soundtrack to my life personally

Um...sorry but he's *totally right! lol Tired/moved on subject matter but think the masses have spoken that the 'demo' that leaked (and obviously NOT used on the album) was an instant possible smash. No doubt though his quotes and the interview were 90%+ prob. fabricated but his core point is totally accurate! To this day I think most people/ fans are totally still like why the F did she not feel his production on RH and WAOM etc...when that 'sound' is totally classic Madonna yet very contemporary.

But the remixes are the worst! WTF?! I adore her, you all know I do. Remix number 3 whatever it is id play again Jesus. Think of all the amazing remixes we had for NRM, ROL, Music, DTM, Crazy! They shouldve left it as it is. x 1998-2003 was the golden age of remixes...I'm listening to Hollywood/American Life remixes right now like its 2003!
