I just tried to watch the LFL Grammy performance, and apparently is locked in my country
But that just happened today
before I was able to.Its no longer available in Australia either.
So just purchased the video in iTunes. It is currently number 10 hehe...
LFL video is still not available in the Australian itunes. Is it available everywhere else? Dont they want my money?

Ive also wondered why americans havent said something about the whole blackface thing... its pretty offensive, really. but then, i find the whole concept of dressing up as someone else just for the purpose of making fun of them pretty lame. its not funny, its not clever.

well, UK, france, italy ... im sure australia is the obvious next stop!
but really, she would never come to australia for a promo. plus, there's no shows she could really go on anyway. i assume the earlier pre-recorded interview with richard wilkins was because she wont be coming here at all. not even for the full tour (she would at least do a live satelitte interview if she was going to tour here).

DP would be easier to sing live if she was a bit nervous. She could also get her guitar out (!)I hope so. I can see her performing a laid-back acoustic rendition of Devil Prays if Ghosttown is not performed.
But seriously, I know she can play basic chords on the piano so would be great if she played a song with just her on the piano.
But then, if they're paying for a choir for LFL they might as well get value for money and do heartbreak City as well.

It's public radio paid with your taxes (i doubt their target audience pays the most taxes) and if you live in the UK and are outraged by this you should make sure your voice is heard.

I wish some day M woudl make a whole documentary on the album recording process, from writing through to versions and all other little things that come up ... would be totally interesting.
on the demo vs final debate ..its all a bit silly because we happen to have the demos first. in the past we got the final album first, and then after we knew the songs we woudl get remixes that were better, or then later get early demo versions which had something new and exciting (eg the Get Together demo "come on over here"), which made us like the songs more, but not to think that she had the wrong version on the album. its all just part of the richness of enjoying the music - it doesnt matter how we get it, we are privileged for getting it at all.

as much as the radio 1 thing is unacceptable, i like it when madonna fights bigotry in society. She did it with views on women, and sex, and sexuality, and race ... it was inevitable that at the forefront of the fight against ageism could only be madonna. this can be her moment to redefine views.
