^ well, in fairness, a lot of people thought the Robert Thicke/Miley twerking was a bit replusive.
I dont know how much of the reaction was anticipated, but Im loving how Madonna is just fucking with all the haters now. Magnificent!!

Don't worry about the performances. It was all just a quick bit of fun to get her on stage. She could have sung twinkle twinkle, it didn't matter.
And don't worry about everything else. In case you didn't pick up on her clues in 1983, madonna doesn't give a fuck what anybody thinks about her because she's madonna and you're not.

For all you ROL's, surely you know that the entire video was copied from an italian artist, so, no, I don't think Jonas brought anything to that video:
I actually think Jonas still brings very little. I'm sure that Madonna turns up with some pretty good ideas most of the time, and employs some really good designers, etc. But when she just turns up and let's Jonas be in charge, we get Celebration. As amazing as Ghosttown is, I think it owes much of its greatness to the story, the set design and costumes, make up and hair, ... tbh, some of the editing and angles in the dance sequence could have been better.

they still have the artist page saying dates announced soon, so nothing to worry about.

the behind the scenes thing was pretty disappointing tbh. not enough M, and no real purpose other than some candid shots. Wish we still had kurt loder doing a full hour long show on set.
yes, i got an instant Kylie vibe the first time i saw that scene, except kylie was like 30 at the time and not as good.
and i dont get the Shakira thing - is she the first person ever to have long blonde hair and do the tango? I think you'll find madonna did both in Evita!

Ive seen it: its her best video since Once More Chance. Its almost as good as Hey You. Its not black and white, but not colour either - It makes you look but in a different way. And there's no music, very cutting edge.

A rep for Madonna told ABC Radio on Tuesday that the video for her new single “Ghosttown” will be premiering on the live-streaming app Meerkat on Wednesday, with a roll-out on VEVO later in the day.

from what i understand, Meerkat is a live stream service, so if you miss it, its gone. the video is going up at 3am australian time, so I wont be staying awake, so i will miss it and it wont be there when i wake up. thanks Guy. I'll wait and see how long it takes to get on youtube.

TS is her favourite artist ... she loves all her songs, especially ..um .. that one that goes .. with the words and the chords ... oh yeah shake it up!

Oh, to have to choose between Body Shop and Beautiful Scars (OT: she has a lot of BS songs). In the end I voted for Body Shop coz it just gives me these tingles.
I would have voted for Queen, which is such an amazing song, except the one problem I have with that song is how she pronounces "written" in the bridge, so it just missed out.
