  1. So you want her to become stuffy and stuck up? A lot of people use slang. I once heard someone comment and I don't remember who it was but he said that if certain words had existed back then Shakespeare would have used them.

Just because I don't like so much of the kiddie lingo doesn't mean I want her to become stuffy and stuck up.

  2. Obviously people including Madonna have used the "bitch" word forever and in general, I like the word bitch, especially women empowering themselves in it.

But I feel as if Lourdes or Rocco or some of her dancers or SOMEBODY (it can't be Guybot O$eary) have shown her tumblr and twitter or at least have been speaking to her in the latest internet hastag jargon which silly kids are speaking like these days (#yaaaassss #bitch #bae and everyone thing else in a hashtag) and to be honest, I don't love her instagram because of it. That kind of talk is so kiddie and will be extremely passe soon enough, if not the hashtag altogether, at least some of the words. This is why i can't use yaaasss or bae or whatever these words are that pop up because before you know it, they are passe. THIS is what I need the people around Madonna to remind her of, because you know she doesn't know it herself, lol.

So yeah, I love the work "bitch" but the hashtags (at least the over use of them) and kiddie jargon can go if it were up to me. Don't mind some of them and she does make me smile, but it is getting a bit overused now girl.

  3. The DVD....with the less-than-HQ versions of some of the most brilliant and epic music video masterpieces ever put to film = SHAMEFUL!

Oh yes. As much as I was pissed with some of the problems with the CD, I could somewhat ignore it. As for the DVD, now this made my blood BOIL after I paid money for that low quality single density DVD atrocity... honestly, what other artist in the history of music does this happen to?! Does Madonna have a quality control team? lol From the Celebration CD/DVD to the Sticky and Sweet DVD with terrible over-dubbed vocals and the sound quality on the MDNA DVD... ugh, another topic I suppose....

Anyway, happy birthday still because for the faults on the CD, it was nice to have a new greatest hits for the public to go to if they needed to listen to her all over again or for people to discover her on. It made sense for when it was released (end of decade) and a nice mix of songs.

  4. I miss Stuart Price so much working with her.... not only did he do a GREAT job on COADF but also a great job working the Reinvention and Confessions Tours... he really made her vocals sound great, not to mention a genius at mixing and production.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I wish she would keep him on hand as a producer/tour director, etc. I know he is probably busy, but I wish they could have this relationship because if anything, he considers her vocals a lot more than her producers of late have.

  5. One of the (many) reasons why the Confessions Tour is one of the strogest of her shows IMO. When I heard Erotica and to know "You Thrill Me' was thrown in on top of SUCH a beautiful piece of music blew my mind!!

I miss Stuart Price! I wish he at least could still be her musical director/producer for her live shows, not to mention have something to do with the finishing/vocal production on her albums. But that's a whole other topic, lol.

This performance is one of my fave by hers of all time!

  6. I called it the second I heard about it. I've seen the word "force-feed" like 25 times in the reviews for the album. I'm sure Guy pitched it to M, but the album wasn't ready AND she was like "Free? Oh, heeeeeell naw."

LOL, so true, for once money may have helped Madonna. Thank GOD she did not do this. Don't piss off the tech crowd - Madonna and Guy don't always get the tech generation, so here's hoping they learn from this.
