I don't care about the charts. At this point, Madonna has had enough hit singles and albums. Her legacy and reputation is cemented so that she never has to get another hit again. If your singles and albums have all been hits for 30 years straight, I think you can put out albums that don't sell well without it being the end of the world. If people get upset about charts or sales now, it will ruin a truly great era for them.
I'm just happy that she's put out the best album she's made in a while, with tons of amazing promo, and a world tour to look forward to! After the microscopic amount of promo she did for MDNA, this is a nice change! It doesn't matter to me if this album isn't a significant commercial success, because this era has been amazing as it is.

I will admit to working out to Madonna DVDs (videos/live performances) as she motivates me like no one else can. Especially her concerts (DWT and on) because if she can look that amazing and have that much energy in her 40s and 50s, then this 36 (almost 37) year old has no excuse. lol

Madonna has never (EVER) put out a bad album. Her weakest effort -whatever you think that might be- is still ten times better than the trash that was playing at the radio by the time they were released.
I do not think every Madonna album is "flawless" but I swear to you, I couldn't live without any of them. The bitch trully gets what great music is.
And for those who dont get the BRILLIANCE captured in Breathless, American Life or the soundtrack of Evita. Im sorry....for you.
Agreed. There are some that I don't like as much as certain others, but NONE of them I could ever consider to be "bad."

I was threatened being sent to the principals office in 5th grade because of the "obscene Madonna buttons" (a few of her that showed her in her bra) on my jean jacket. My rebellious shenanigans while attending Catholic school in the 80s. haha

Oh my gosh, what a fiasco.
I was unable to tune into my Meerkat app at the scheduled time, as I was out to lunch with friends, but this thread was amazing at filling me in.
We'll see how it goes tomorrow!
And by the way, you guys are HILARIOUS. Some of these posts seriously had me rolling!!
