Love all these versions, but can they also release them somewhere else that is not iTunes and their lossy crap? There are other websites like Qobuz, HDTracks, etc to sell these editions in lossless. Thank God the instrumentals were released on Qobuz, but enough of these iTunes only bullshit.

Yes, it makes total sense. It gives 2 different experiences, both worth having. I listen to the 16 track one and then I listen to the 12 one, and so on. It feels like 2 different albums. It is a great idea. That did not happen with the other 3 (MDNA, RH and MX), whose standard versions are just for collecting and sales. This one too, but I see the artistic purpose. Plus, the transition from Everything to Love Without Words is so good, it is meant to be. Also ending with My Sins Are My Savior is perfect. Again, almost 2 different albums.

They are "far" right about that. It's true. They would be better as a music magazine and leave politics to the left leaning ones.

Choosing from the track titles I like Danceteria and School. Danceteria as of course, a perfect dance album. School as showing the bitches how is it done.

Vinyls are usually (and should be) mastered with more dynamic range, meaning they sound quieter than brickwalled CDs or digital files.

Hope you eventually are able to experience this album without the annoying gaps! It is the way to go.

I need a full album from Lola. Love her voice and style. And calling it "inessential" in the album should be considered a hate crime. Lo que tiene uno que leer a veces...

If you listen to it in your computer, then the software player you use should have an option for gapless playback in the settings, if you are using a sound system, I don't know, probably, but I wouldn't know where to find this option.

The album has to be experienced in both the 16 and 12 track versions. Unlike the previous 3 albums, which for me the deluxe version is the only way and the standard feels more like an excuse to sell more variants. In CII both versions need to exist and be listened. I did not expect that, was thinking it would be similar to the previous ones.

How are you listening to it? Streaming? Your own physical copy? Digital purchase? It will probably be the settings, you need to activate Gapless Playback in the settings of whatever you are using.

The biggest surprise for me in an album full of surprises.

I see this song as the Oh Father for her stepmom. Oh Stepmom From Oh Father (song and video) one could think of similar things to what Betrayal seems to convey. But I think it is not as literal as people may think, it feels more her feelings at that moment expressed in the present, which may confuse people who do not follow to the level of knowing the lore behind all this. And still, we as fans do not have the full picture and we never will.

I will dance to "School" on top of the graves of those critics who give her anything less than 4 stars, and I am being generous since this album is 5/5 at least.
