I hate it to say - but it's fresher and more inspiring than the most tracks on Rebel Heart.
It's different..the lyrics suggest it's a funny song created after the met gala..they refer at themselves like the met gala gang

Let’s not re-write history folks where Madonna only does serious songs with a message... Madonna on a fun happy dance bop; it’s hardly a stretch.... and quite honestly it’s a very good example of “music makes the people come together.” Let it all go and have fun....
Exactly and this shows how versatile, intergenerational, modern and humble she is I don't wanna name other artists, but very few would do this and would be considered for collaborations like this She will be forever young

I have a feeling this is what the Netflix rumors were about. I would have loved this for all of her albums tbh
I hope so

I agree. Some of her entitled fans represent what is wrong with today’s society and should shut the fuck up.

I guess. I think i need to accept and face the reality and adjust to the term. But what a ride it has been since her debut. Im thankful for her long years givings to fans.
Hey, she's not dead p.s.: you're right..what a ride.. she changed the landscape of pop music (I read it somewhere) and a lot of wannabes are following her steps..I mean.. they follow exactly what she did 20 years ago.. but they can try to replicate what they think was a strategy.. the issue is that they think she was doing something accurately planned but she was simply growing and I don't think growth has something to do with the "let's follow her same path" attitude

I know you don’t speak for everyone but this is definitely what happened with me the last couple of months. Maybe it’s because I see her as an music artist, primarily. That’s what it is all about - for me. So the drought feels extremely rough this time and can’t be compensated with whatever this skincare promo wants to be, as it couldn’t with another movie project.
Hey, this is not my post..it's from Herfaceremains

I think for me personally the issue is not that she will have waited so long to release new music. If she went all Kate Bush (not an artistic comparison by any measure...just an example) and disappeared for five years, and the (mostly British in Kate’s case) public was genuinely curious to see how she and her music had evolved, I’d see that as an impactful career choice. However, the fact that we have been so consistently exposed to Madonna via social media throughout her musical absence and that much of that presence has focused on purely commercial endeavors that are demographically alienating to much of her fanbase has dampened spirits, lessened expectations, heightened cynicism and temporarily destroyed a part of the artist’s mystique. That can’t be a good thing as far as I can see right now. Again, just an opinion...I don’t want to make that the sole focus because I personally am totally excited to get new music whenever it arrives, and am open to being blown away by however Madonna has evolved musically. I have very rarely been disappointed by any of her musical endeavors, but I definitely do not share her opinion that her skincare line is creative or artistic, nor do I find her advertising campaigns sharp or compelling. So I get why we are all anxiously awaiting signs that the album release is near, and I really hope she draws a clear line between her music and her peripheral “projects and products”. When all is said and done, of course Madonna is the decider of how she manages her career, and her focus is her prerogative, but she gained an audience through music.
Madonna is a human being..a human being makes different activities in his/her life..someone can find interesting the whole "package", someone else not.. we are here to express our point of view, so it's fine to have different opinions

To be fair, maybe Drowned got lost on translation as I think it's ran by an Italian guy. Drowned may have been interpreted as saturated or in abundance or swamped or something.
Sure but I'm italian and the first meaning I gave to the adjective drowned is "affogato"..maybe it's my fault

I would love if the album is called ‘magic’ because i missed her themed albums! MDNA and Rebel Heart didn’t really have one certain image or iconic memorable imagery (besides the rebel heart album cover of course).
With Magic, I can see Madonna dressing up as a magician in her own way for the tour, promos, etc. would be fun
I don't see her as Hermione

I was talking about tv promo as interviews of course. Why she should say when the album is coming during a commercial for a cream lol
I thought you wanted to see some adverts à la Max Factor

Where? I was talking about real tv adverts.

Well she's still working with Mirwais and probably Billboard too since he's in London. So I don't really think she's changing direction. Who knows at this point. Let's hope for some fucking tv promo for the fucking cream by the end of the year where maybe she can elaborate something different from "soon" and "next year".
I don't think they will make tv promo for this skincare line

Wise decision... Lady Voldemort is enjoying the hype... and it looks like she will have a good run with this crap movie... and the response to the Beautiful Game even by fans, face it, it's not single material... better wait till Lady Reductive's local shine fades until after Oscars because you know they love her there...
Madonna has no competition

And I really doubt she will ever release a truly great album again. Its been 13 years since COADF was released already.
And theres a good bunch of female singers making great music better than her in all this years. So good luck with her beauty creams and movies.
And I really doubt you are one of her fans
