  1. If Trump wins I genuinely think this would be the scariest time for the western world

yeah there's a great chance he will be the Republican nominee and I 'm beginning to think that he may just win the general election. Looking at his polls, it's looking like a real possibility. Of course he will look terrible next to the Democratic nominee, but it's scary to think that that might not matter at all because people will vote for him anyways. Can you imagine him interacting with other world leaders?
  2. I always heard of this story but do you think Madonna was being dead serious or do you think she was being tongue in cheek sarcastic about Oh Father breaking her top 10 streak and making him feel guilty about it?

I remember reading that she was pissed off about him convincing her to make the video and no one ended getting to view it on MTV because the song flopped. I think her annoyance was rooted in the fact that they had wasted such a good music video rather than directly because of charts.
  3. The nominee on the republican side will NOT be Carson.

I mean I would hope it would be him or Trump because they would get their asses kicked, but its highly unlikely.

It's probably going to be someone like Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz. On another topic, what did people think about that Democratic Form that just occurred? Bernie definitely won it. He performed well in answering almost all the questions well except for the ones relating to gun laws.

  4. I think it's going to be a really tight race. Bernie has a lot of young and significantly left leaning supporters and he also has more clear proposals than say Hillary Clinton. On the other hand, Hillary probably appeals better to the more moderate and conservative sections of the Democratic Party. She's stronger on gun control than Bernie which is one of the few things she has over him. She also has Wall Street and the media on her side.

With a little over a year to go, it's difficult to clearly determine who will win the Democratic race because so much can happen in that amount of time. Bernie's campaign will either continue to gain momentum or lose steam. He's currently in a better position than even Obama was when he was running against Hillary. Then again, people could end up voting for Hillary as the safer more established choice. I wish the best for both of them and would like to see either one of them win.

  5. I thought they still were? Didnt they live close to each other and Rosie was round at M's all the time? (when she was in the hills)

M hasn't lived in LA for years. I guess living in London and being so busy for years its easy to not be an in touch. Now they are both in NY/NJ they might bond after the tour. M seems to spend her 'time off' at the Hamiltons though. I guess her life is planned to the second.

Ive always imagined M to have a lot of friends, even I couldnt keep up with them all, and look at what she has to do in a day. We might not have seen many pics of them together lately but I doubt they have had a major drama & row and cut friendship.

If anybody knows different, give me the goss :popcorn2:

Yeah, in interviews Madonna seems to imply that her friends, at least a fair few of them, aren't famous. Just normal everyday people. I think Rosie is one of the very few famous people that Madonna has a good friendship with.

  6. It's not happening.

She is even having trouble doing one night in the US (no stadiums). Australia have proved to be a flop, etc.

I can't believe we're in a world where a Taylor's tour will probably outgross M's tour. But It is what it is, sadly.

Except she isn't flopping in Australia. I know you desperately want her to be, but she's not. Sad day for you. Madonna transcends this type of stupidity.
  7. I know I am not Carta but he will answer too. Simply hearing from people that I know who are all going to get Madonna tickets - and I am talking about more casual type fans who think she is a legend, I think they would love both. Markm, they named all of the songs you mentioned from the 90's as well as the classic 80's songs. I have been thrilled at the amount of "casual fans" whom I did not even know were that interested, who want to go and see Madonna. My workmates and relatives who know I am a massive fan and have talked about the concerts to me. She has always been huge in Australia. Only since MDNA, which had no promotion or airplay whatsoever, has her hits dried up here.

I agree and I also think Australian audiences would appreciate the 90's stuff. After all, she had six number one albums in Australia during the 90s and a lot of decent sized hits as well.
