Clinton and Warren are literally speaking at the same place today....
-
VP announcement coming within the next few hours.
-
On the topic of who Hillary will choose as VP, it's pretty obvious that the Clinton campaign is trying to distract people from the scent so people think she's choosing someone like Kaine instead of someone else I.e. Elizabeth Warren. Hillary and Elizabeth will both be in Florida at the same time that Hillary announces her VP.
-
The Clinton campaign also released that footage of Christie hugging Clinton when they crossed paths in New Hampshire during the primaries.
-
New voting intention poll
Conservative: 40% - (+10)
Labour: 29% - (-4)

I don't feel sorry for her because let's not forget she was also one of the voices during the Obama Birth Certificate movement questioning if he was American.
-
I think it's important to remember that this election is won based on the electoral college and not the popular vote. She is already looking pretty solid in swing states such as Colorado, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina. Voters in swing states seem to be solidifying around Clinton faster than the national level.

Howard said in an interview with Sally Field back in March (possibly April) that he was voting for Hillary Clinton and I'm pretty sure he's been listed as having endorsed her as early as last year. He didn't seem to be a fan of Bernie and thought Bernie was going against Hillary because she is a woman.Trump didn't "signal" his support for the war on Stern. Howard flat out asked him if he supports going to war with Iraq and he said yeah I guess so.
I find it funny that Trump has been a friend to Howards show forever now, and Howard is sooooo mum about this election. Normally he will come out and say who he is voting for and speak out for them. You are getting no endorsement from him this time around from what I know. He has said plenty of times over the years how much he admires Hillary and what a great President she would be. I have no doubt he is voting for her, but doesn't want to hurt his "bond" with Trump.
Which I wish didn't exist because it would be hilarious hearing Howard rip him to shreds.

As it stands this isn't competitive in the slightest. Even after not having the best week or so, she is still projected to win based on data as of today:Bland, boring, cheap and (still!) Microsoft, Windows 98 or whatever shitty, dated 'software' LOL! Actually could be from 1955 (or even earlier) which is what/where they wanna take us back to! Everything about the two of these fuck-faces reeks from laughable! I'm still kind of petrified this dreadful election is still gonna end up being suuper close! :/ If it was Biden or basically ANYelse..even fking Martin O Malley lol he'd be ahead by 30 points now. ONLY 'cause it's a Clinton and her esp is this thing so competitive!

Just saw a poll where Theresa May has a 43% lead over Corbyn as preferred Prime Minister who has strong leadership. 31% of Labour voters prefer her.

Bill has conceded and Malcolm Turnbull has claimed victory.

Based on what I've been reading and hearing, Hillary Clinton is going to being announcing Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren as her Vice President running mate in the coming weeks. Apparently it's very close to happening.
-
Trump's policies were pretty similar to the rest of the GOP candidates. E.g. Kasich personality is worlds away from Trump, but most of the positions weren't. Left little room to defeat him on substance.

No election is a guarantee, but the facts as they stand is that Democrats have an electoral map advantage that is pretty daunting for any Republican to overcome. Is it possible? Yes. Is it probable? Not likely. The advantages that Democrats have going into the election have nothing to do with Clinton herself. Also important to note that these recent polls have Ohio going from a 'toss up' state to leaning democratic. She's also up in Florida as well.Like I said, anything can happen between now and November, it's just ridiculous that 10 pages back people were saying that Hillary's win was a guarantee.
-
1) Of all the polls recently Hillary has been ahead in all but 3 polls which have skewed RCP. 2) With all these recent national and state polls aggregated Hillary still gets 312-320 electoral votes. Also McCain and Romney were leading Obama at this point. 3) Trump is current getting is nominee bump which Hillary will get once Dem primary is over.
-
A bit of a prediction, expect Warren to be a prominent speaker at the convention. Probably she will give the keynote address.
-
Vast majority of Bernies progressive followers live in states that will turn blue anyways. Not dismissing them, but with regards to the electoral vote they're not solely the most consequential group. The Obama coalition (made up of a lot of progressives) is the base that Hillary will be energising. The VP choice will reflect the diversity of the Democratic Party. Clinton won swing stats such as North Carolina, Florida and Ohio by large margins on her own merit. Hillary will of course chose someone who holds strong liberal/progressive views, but that person will be someone who will help win swing states. Not to mention having Obama campaign for her will solve a lot of problems with Democratic progressives. If Bernie loses, depending on how things go, She might need to win over the progressives by choosing one.
-
She won't go with Warren because Republican governor will be able to pick her replacement. She definitely won't pick Bernie because he'd be more useful to her in the Senate and will most likely be given a position on a committee instead. She will most like go for someone younger and from a swing state. Most likely picks would be:Yep. This list is a shit list just to get media attention. The VP for Trump will not be any of those mentioned. Trump is a showman, and he is putting on a show this entire election.
Hillary needs to take seriously the fact that she needs to make amends with progressives after this divisive primary season. She either needs Bernie or Elizabeth Warren as a VP (or someone similar). Michelle Obama wanted Biden to run. Michelle wanted Biden to be Barack's successor. Hillary needs to take these things in to consideration. She needs a VP that brings EXCITEMENT into the fold.
1. Julian Castro
2. Tim Kaine
3. Tom Perez

Both being Sanders and Trump. I should have clarified.Hillary Clinton hasn't faced scrutiny from Republicans?????!
-
No, one reason is that he (both really) hasn't faced much scrutiny or faced Republicans. That's the short version of that. The number reason though is electorally Dems already have a significant advantage. The dem nominee would only really need to win the state's they normally win + Florida to win.Is Bernie the only one that can beat Trump?

I'm honestly dreading having to vote in this
I know and we still have another 7 weeks until we actually vote
The exit polling after the debate showed Bill Shorten was the winner:
42 - Bill Shorten
29 - Malcolm Turnbull
29 - undecided
-
First leaders debate tonight between Shorten and Turnbull
-
She's certainly to the right to Obama on foreign policy and I think that allows these moderate republicans who have decided to support Hillary to sort of justify that support to themselves. She's just too hawkish for me. I'm glad they approve.
-
Interesting to note that Hillary's current general election polling, especially amongst most demographics, is higher than Obama's 2012 vote results in states/demographics.

Hillary just won Virginia (though it's already been her best swing state poll-wise for a while)
