    How nice people

All this death and destruction in the world, talking or what to go back to things how they used to be.

How far back do people want to go, there was a time when Greece ruled Istanbul, the Ottoman empire ruled in the south of Spain, time when women couldn't vote, why can't be learn from the past, but move forwards, not killing each other.

The killing of all innocent people is tragic.

Ah those golden days one week ago when Israel’s government denied bombing a hospital and blamed Hamas and today they gleefully bombed THREE plus a convoy of ambulances and nobody blinked.

If people cared or there was a backlash, maybe they may would Hamas did it.

After a while, the general public get bored of a topic, it's not covered in the new or main pages as much, that is when things can get worse.

For the comments above, about nobody seems to care about the Israeli's who died, or the hostages, I think people care, most people on this board don't want to see innocent lives taken, all this death and destruction.

Just if we talk about Oct 7th, it's good to acknowledge the apartheid that was happening, if going back to past years is too far, too complex, maybe just this year, the people being thrown out their homes in the West Bank, the people including children who have died this year, on both sides.

I’m always surprised at the lack of leadership being a detriment nowadays. Tories being such psychos should have put on Government whoever from the other party, even a goat! How can people vote for psychos because the other is not some superstar?

I'm more upset than surprised.  I can totally understand why people voted for Trump.  Middle America can be quite dull.  They have access to Media, hear all about the Karadashians and super rich.  Yet they have dead end jobs, that pay peanuts and work like dogs.

In the UK, the Tories, wouldn't tax the poor much, not let refugees in, as they think that's the reason why they are not rich, have better jobs.  When really all the Tories do, is support the rich, and the few lucky to make it rich.

It's all about divide and conquer to control people.  All the terror attacks, far-right stuff, protests.  Make people afraid, hate, gays, Muslims, Trans, Black, White, the police whatever.

If all the peasant are fighting aongst themselves, the select few with all the power can do what they want and we will just be worried about a refugee, Muslim, trans person moving next door to us, or even worse getting a job, taking over women and paying taxes.

Chaos and disorder, helps the rich, I mean if people are going crazy saying defund the police, BLM, Me Too movements, keeps us crazy.  Yes, I think we should stand up for these things, but defunding the police is stupid, yes the police shouldn't be racist, but if defund the police, the wealthy will be able to live OK with private security.  See what's happened in certain cities like San Fran during lockdown, the city turned to shit, yet the wealthy were still ok, their kids still went to school, being driven in nice cars, it was the public schools that were shut, the poor people losing homes, becoming homeless, can't afford to eat, losing out.

And media makes stupid believe voting for Tory's is a good thing.

While media barons still control the narrative, that won't be allowed to happen. The moment it became a possibility with Corbyn, they went into overdrive to destroy it. A recent doc by Al Jazeera called The Labour Files goes into detail about it.

I like Corbyn, but he lacked leadership, the whole not really taking a stand one things, like he was maybe pro-Brexit, maybe not. but the barons came after him.

Will check out this docu, not heard of it before.

  5. Is there any update on Salman is doing?

Also what happened to the idiot that did this?

It's funny about the fatwa, loads of people went crazy about it, without even reading what was written.

The guy who did this attack, has not only messed up his life, has made it worse for loads of Muslims who want to live in peace.

I respect people whose views differ to mine, lots of people find religon helpful, carming. but make me just want to watch

Monty Phytons Life of Brian, what a brilliant movie.

    It's failed state stuff.

More a selfish State, I mean in the UK, Liz Trust is saying the energy companies should be allowed to make a profit.  The big corps will.

The U..K. voted Boris and Tories in for selfish reasons, and then start getting upset when Boris behaved like Boris.

It's worrying state of affairs around the world, the rise of cost of living, yet the sales of high end luxury goods is going up.  More people can't afford to eat, and a few can't get enough Gucci.   Global warming, wars, the rise of the far right.

We should be really sensible with money, although that might not be enough, so I guess I should go and see how much the FEL Box set is going for...

  7. I pay 3 times as my.uch as I used to since April, 3 times more in the summer, when dont even use that much energy.

If you have a job, and a roof over your head, hopefully you are being sensible and saving in case things get worse, seems they will.

Sad that some people/companies are taking advantage, making record profiles using lockdown/ war in Ukraine as an excuse and people/businesses who need to charge more to survive are dying.

I come here to escape reality, it's a nice change to hear people complaining that the red vinyl is not red enough, or their box set hasn't arrived and it's causing Belgian Stress but understand people need to talk about it.  For those, who are losing their jobs, roofs over their heads, it's 10 times worse, but it's stressful even for people who have a job etc.

I have to have Ciao Bella on my main album tracklist. It's the perfect album closer.

It is on my own special version.

Although I sometimes put it before before I Rise and let that finish the album.

Both songs great way to close the album.

  9. I was expecting to see more coverage in the media about her performance, but feels like it's been fairly quite, but maybe I ain't searched as much as I should've, wonder what others think.

Feel like it the performance was bad or not a good, I would've heard more negative stuff about it.

I was worried, when we first started hearing comments about the 4 songs planned.  After seeing the GC video, I'm really glad she was going to and did perform A.L.  Vogue was great and I Rise worked.

Wonder if stairs are gonna be a main feature of the tour, different type of staircases and a type writer, If Madame X travels ,it could be another Type Writer in Another Hall....totally going off topic now...I'll shut up.

They didn't have a single copy of the vinyl or CD in Sainsbury's!

I'm noticing many people say they haven't seen the M in stockin various places in the U.K.  I hope I'm being paranoid but it's like, record store buyers and some staff don't want to stock it.

I remember trying to find Rebel Heart on vinyl a few months after its released and it wasn't easy to find instore in a few places I went too, in the HMV I went to, they said they had five in stock, but nobody knew where they where hiding. Had to get it online in the end.

  11. I quite like the Jo Whiley interview for BBC Radio 2, agree with what Jo said about 15 minutes not being enough time to have a decent conversation with M.

Not really been impressed with many of the radio interviews before the one with Jo, but I guess if radio stations only have like 10 mins or so, they are all bound to ask the same questions, however wish Jo Whiley had more time with, liked her asking about songs Madonna likes to dance to, remind her of childhood etc. can't remember another interviewer asking those type of questions, but maybe they are.

  12. Thanks for sharing the info.

Seeing the pictures of the display boards and merchandise stall etc. looks like they made a lot of effort for the event too.

From everything I read so far, seems the one thing that everyone has said is that she was very relaxed and in a friendly talkative mood.

As for the empty seats, can we find out who didn't turn up and burn them on the stake.
