The day the tracklist came out Dino uploaded a IG story saying he worked in that song.

I see. Thanks! So he is on the album after all, good to know  Though I agree, with the amounts of IG posts where M tagged / mentioned Dino, I would have expected they worked on more songs.

I believe when the album is out a lot of questions will be answered (or not).

He is acredited on the production of Batuka! And i think he is on some back vocals (i think the same for Nakhane). I was expecting Dino to produce more songs.

That's new to me! Would you be so kind to share your source? As far as I know, only the writers of the songs have been revealed so far?

  3. Now that's the kind of sound I'm here for! Mirwais electronica infused with Portuguese guitar sounds. Perfect! Can't wait to hear that song in full.

But does anyone else think it's sort of odd she's been teasing this song (Extreme Occident) so much yet it's only part of the Deluxe version of the album?

  4. All the teasers so far are looking great. I think there are good chances we will get our first long-form music vid from M since years (decades?), which adds to the excitement! Very thrilled for Wednesday.

I'd love the vids in this era to be tied into a broader storyline as part of the 'Madame X' concept. Would be very interesting to see M continuing her mission as a secret agent in the following vids! From the cha cha instructor the professor, teacher etc. like in that initial Instagram post.

Please listen to the actual version and give M streams or youtube views, thanks!

Yeah I did stream it once this evening, but honestly - I know this might not go down well here  - I am not too interested in pushing the song for some extra sales or something as I've stopped caring about the charts long ago. You should see the shit that is making its rounds in the Top 20 here. So by now I'm just enjoying M's music without thinking of charts success etc.

    Go to shop.madonna.com or shopuk.madonna.com

They have CD bundle with T-shirt / pullover / eye-patch etc.

    I see! Thank you!

But by the looks of it, those bundles are basically just extra gadgets, with no additional tracks on the album. (?)

So to answer the question from @Confessit, if sb wants to get all the music (not including the Target/FNAC bonus tracks), the Deluxe Boxset seems the way to go. Good to know!

  7. Gave it another spin on my stereo system...Still not sure what to make of this. I do agree with others there's a melancholic vibe about it, especially in the verses, which I like. However, the chorus doesn't go anywhere and I'm missing what sets M apart from everyone else in the music biz - her ability to create beautiful melodies and make every song unmistakably her own. This song is lacking both in my very honest opinion.

I think what prevents me from getting into the music the most is Maluma talking between M's lines à la Sean Paul. Is there any chance some talented soul could cut that out? (Looking at you @dubtronic )

  8. I like the Madame X over her lips, though I agree the Madonna font looks a bit off and fanmade-ish.

I also agree with @Messiah and @RyanAnth4 that people shouldn't react allergic to criticism right away IF it is fair criticism. Of course we get the occasional trolls who only ever post to pick her apart, but so far (in this thread) I only saw people politely voicing their thoughts...everyone talks about fun, tbh this forum would be much less fun to me if every dissenting opinion gets shot down immediately.

The only thing I'm sliiiightly upset about is the lack of nakhane. I adore his voice.

I'm a bit surprised about that too, and Dino D'Santiago. With Nakhane, I'm not sure if we ever got studio pics so who knows if they ended up collaborating at all, but with Dino (please correct me if I'm wrong) there definitely were pics of them working in the studio together. Hmmm.

  10. So one third of the album tracks are collabs. If it would be with talented interesting artists okay, but Anitta, Quavo and 2 with Maluma?  Hm. I'm not happy about that at all, not going to lie. Of course I will reserve full judgement until I hear the tracks, but I do feel disappointed we can not get a full M album without a bunch of other singers much less talented than her on it. If this means people throwing stones at me now, so be it.

    The cover is fine.

According to my sources, they will premiere the song and video in a live broadcast. That they will be together talking about the song. Maluma said yesterday that he was traveling to a new country and that he felt blessed because Music is taking him to other countries and cultures. So, my bet is that Madonna will be traveling to Marrakesch to be with him and talk to MTV about the song and the video.

Meeting in Morocco to talk about a song dedicated to a Colombian city

Yes. It’s terribly sad, but this is not the end of Notre Dame. It’s heartbreaking though to watch the damage being done... 😰

Certainly not the end, but this is definitely going to have, beside the immense physical damage, a psychological impact on many in Paris and beyond as it obviously has such a landmark meaning. To see such a symbolic and visible building now charred and partly in ruins for several years is a tough thing to swallow for sure.

It's good to hear nobody gut hurt, though!
