Omg you guys. MDNA is a great album. No one is saying it's terrible or something. Every fan has different tastes. I personally LOVE American Life because of raw voice, clear modern sound, guitar and amazing thought provoking lyrics. I don't like MDNA because of a lot of cheese and no theme... but that's just my opinion.
What some of us here are saying is that the fact is, Madonna was busy with W.E. and other projects while also working on an album. NOW she is not busy with anything BUT the new album. Which suggests that ALL her energy is 100% devoted to music. You don't have to have a high IQ to understand this simple concept. C'mon people, seriously...
That's not what some of you here are saying. Some people are saying that it was a rushed job that Madonna only did to satisfy contractual obligations and that she did not care to make it. You don't have to have a high IQ to understand that some of us are arguing against the idea that because she "rushed" it, she doesn't care for it or that she didn't make an album she didn't want to make. They're different arguments, different points.
Anyways....

Cut to album 14's release and y'all will be saying the same thing about this album with your "She seems more into the process for Album 14 than Album 13," "Album 13 was rushed," "Album 13 was a contractual obligation/she made it to tour" nonsense, while saying "MDNA wasn't so bad after all."
Virtually everything that she's shared with us about the album are the same sorts of things she would have posted about in 2012 had she been on Instagram during MDNA. There's nothing wrong with being excited; in fact, I'm glad everyone is. But just because you weren't into the last album doesn't mean she wasn't too.

Madonna has worked with a looot of people in this new album but not all of them will be producers so there's no reason to think this won't be a cohesive album.
Natalia Kills, MoZella, Viking Harem and Toby Gad may be only song writing.
S1, Avicii and Diplo may be songwriting AND producing.
This 100 percent. If you check everyone's credentials, this is how the album is probably going to play out (although I would add Martin Kierzenbaum to the songwriter/producer category, tho I'd bet he's only writing).
Fred Ball has never been confirmed as a producer either, for the people throwing his bane around.
It would be very interesting if she were to be taking those 11 Avicii demos and reworking them with Diplo, who may have been working on the project for longer than we know.
Still waiting on a press release tho.

Why should she compromise her artistic vision because it won't sell? People know who Madonna is and what she's about. If she were to have an album cover like that, it's not her problem if it freaks "normal, working, family folks" out (which aren't even her demographic, lesbihonest). I swear.

Also, she's off tour and she's going to have gained a little weight since then. There's no problem with that, her body looks great.

Not at all. Hard Candy was the first era I got to fully experience, so I kind of have a soft spot for it. I was just surprised by the fact that it's the album that turned you into a stan.
What's there to be surprised about? It's a fucking STELLAR album, beginning to end
including Voices, Isaac.
