I am suprised noone is saying anything here. Don't focus on the album being at no1. Most album sales come from physical sales so it's kind of pointless. WHAT ABOUT THE SONG. That's what we should care about at this point. It is bombing on i-tunes in many important markets, USA and UK included. I thought it would have gone straight to no1 like most important releases by big artists. It's not even in the top10!
I never post negative things but this is extremely worrying and I haven't seen anyone addressing the issue!
It's sitting right outside the top ten, at eleven. That's not bad at all, and certainly not "bombing." And the big promotional push isn't until tomorrow. Calm down.

I'm almost positive that the megamix was created with THE most commercial sounding songs on the album in order to test the waters for the second single. Remember the rumors that Girls Gone Wild and Turn Up The Radio were potential singles? This is why I'm sure.

I don't see how she's being hypocritical. Yeah, she's shown her boobs before, but she's simply saying that she doesn't need them out to put on a performance for the books (which is what the interviewer was asking). She can do it without the scandal. I'm sure Janet "the Slayer" Jackson could have done it too, but I guess that horse has been beaten to a pulp.

M.I.A. is releasing a single next week. It's called Bad Girls and was featured on her Vicki Leekx mixtape. The video is being released on the 3rd of February.
Nicki Minaj is also releasing a single (next week I think) called Va Va Voom, which is expected to have the same impact date as GMAYL (Feb. 7th). Her album is tentatively scheduled to be released the 3rd of April, which is the rumored date of M.D.N.A's release. But, again, that's just the rumored date.
I doubt both of their singles will have any effect on GMAYL.
