Who really cares? Whether she's on Forbes's list or not, it doesn't make a difference to her bank account and honestly I'd think Madonna would prefer not to be on these lists anyway.
-
I truelly just don't get what Billboard was going on about. The term shape-shifting dance legend just doesn't make any sense, unless they were reffering to the dj dogs in the artwork and video. It was one big mess in terms of communication. And not only Madonna fans were sold on the idea that it might be her but music fans across the spectrum all thought it would be Madonna...
I think it was intentionally made to sound like Madonna (or another big name) to get as much exposure for Kleinenberg. Pretty shitty by all involved. I wonder what Madonna thinks of the whole situation. Obviously not the first time her name has been used by a d-list celebrity to get press.
-
I liked the clip a lot when I heard it. The song itself is a let down though.
-
The whole Billboard thing seems to have turned into such a clusterfuck.
Even if it wasn't Madonna I thought it would be by another big name. Really who's given a shit about Sander Kleinenberg since the early 00's? He's even more dated than Paul Oakenfold.

I find it surprising she has never performed TUTBMP!! It's one of her biggest hits!
-
I'd love a track with Jamie XX.
-
^Bit of an exaggeration.
-
^ Sorry that was in response to her re-using magazine images for single covers.
(Not that I care, that was a great session!!)

Exactly. I cant believe so many here are thrown off to it being Madonna because of the word "dance".
HELLO!!!!!!!!!
Madonna and dance?
Nah. What a silly combination.

Also launching the song with a LIVE performance would be AWESOME. She kills it live and some tracks I don't really like I ended up loving because of a live performance!!
Anyway much excite right now.
-
I'm holding out that the song will drop at any time now! The instrumental is pretty killer. I'm skeptical about the whole performing at the Billboard awards but if she did drop the song there I think the press would be HUGE!
(And even if it's not her, I still want to hear this track!!)

Had a quick look online and the snippet is getting some pretty crazy love. I really liking it so I am hoping it is indeed Madonna! And if it is hopefully the lyrics/vocals are awesome too. (Also if this is an Avicii production then color me impressed because I really wasn't that excited about the collaboration!)
-
IF this is Madonna and she is teasing an instrumental surely the song will be out soon?!
-
BLAH! Please no.
If it ends up being Madonna ill be in heaven. Without a doubt I get no "What the hell is this crap?" vibe from the snippet we hear, unlike how I felt when I heard the GMAYL "demo".
Same. Not that I hated GMAYL, but I was a bit like "Eh"

I'm not really a fan of instrumentals but I'm really liking the clip. It definitely sounds like a Madonna track. It has a great vibe and a "happy" sound. If it's not her good luck to which ever artist it is. It does sound pretty great.
A June release would be awesome!! If she is touring Australia in 2015 it will have to be Jan/Feb. For her to put the album out and put a show together you'd think she'd have to release the album in August or at the latest early September.
If she does release it in November then I think Aus will miss out on the tour again.
(If this is her and is an idea of the direction the album will go in then I can't wait!!!)

The people she is working with seem to be pretty impressed by her work in the studio. They seem to be showing a lot of love and respect for her. I had the impression that Diplo didn't really like her but they seem to have hit it off. I'm really looking forward to hearing what they've all come up with. Hopefully the album is a killer, she seems to have put a lot of work into it!
-
is she working with Skrillex or did I imagine that?! I really hope she doesnt go overboard with the dubstep sound. It worked ok on GB but it's honestly one genre I can't stand listening to!!
-
He's more promising than Avicii but I have absolutely no idea what to expect from this album. She's working with so many people who I don't really listen to. I'm looking to be pleasantly surprised!
-
The world is filled with people looking for something new to be outraged about. I was reading that Avril Lavinge pulled her video because it was "racist." Imagine if Madonna released NRM video now?! What the fuck is wrong with people?!

Neither really but Natalia Kills seems a bit more interesting.

I really don't get people like this. Good you don't really like her why be a cunt about it. I think it just makes them look stupid in the end. Elton John is another good example. Surely his own fans get embarrassed at his outbursts. And isn't it funny how Madonna doesn't really talk shit about others anymore. Honestly I can't even the remember the last time she was a cunt to someone famous. Even during the Elton shit she was just "Oh well."

I know a lot of people are having a go but I do agree for the most part. It's not so much that she sounds "bad" but I think her voice does lack the warmth from her earlier days. Could be any number of reasons but I don't think it's simply because she is older because she seems to revert back to it when she sings old songs. PDP and OYH on MDNAT are good examples. Compare them to how she sings GGW, which sounds a lot more nasal and high pitched. I think TUTR is also a good example of how she uses her voice differently on newer material. Honestly to me she sounds shocking singing it live, it's almost like she is trying to sound "operatic."
One reason I think her voice has changed is because her speaking accent has broadened over the years. She seems to over-emphasize on certain words and really puts effort in pronouncing words correctly which gives her the "crow" vocals. Like when she sings "love" she seems to sing "laaaarrve" rather than "luurrve." Plus her more recent music she seems to sing at a higher pitch than her earlier work. Compare the vocals on I'm a Sinner with Like a Prayer and you can definitely hear it. I'm not entirely sure why she's done that but I can't help but think it's to sounds "technically" better. Personally though I think it makes her sound "whiny" on certain songs. Especially like on Candy Shop when she sings "Get up out of your seat, come on up to the dance floor..." and pretty much all of I Fucked Up.
It's funny though on MDNAT when she sings GMAYL she sounds so much better than the album version and I think it's partly because she's using her older style of singing.
Anyway feel free to disagree as I'm sure most people will. I still like the new stuff but I do miss that older sound of her voice.

I think it is for a good cause and wouldn't mind seeing her do it!
I'd like to see who she nominates though.
