Going through and only up to Iconic so far.
For someone who hasn't listened to the demos all the tracks are on point.
Iconic for single #2!!
-
I feel bad and I didn't listen to any demo's but I have caved and downloaded the leak. Please forgive me.

S.E.X is this album's Spanish Lesson, a light hearted moment (her lisping of funny sexual things is an indicator it should not be taken seriously) people will take litterally. "damn those litteralists, they plagued me my whole life"
Obviously. I don't think she actually enjoys golden showers or raw meat among other things.
Still think this might be tied as my favorite track so far with Devil Pray. Her voice is perfect here.
-
Update: The beat reminds me a lot of Kanye West - Love Lockdown which incidentally is one of my favorite Kanye songs. No wonder I really like Sex!!
-
Listened to Sex as it's apparently the final version. I actually LOL'd when she said "golden shower" and "strap it on." Awesome song though. So excited for the album.
(BTW the bass in the beat kills it. It does remind me of another song. Can't put my finger on it though.)

^ I've said this before and I know it's tough to hear but honestly Australia doesn't give a fuck about her. She has ignored us far too long that I don't think radio is willing to support her anymore. I don't think LFL is good enough for the general public to make it a hit on it's own. Even I as a Madonna fan didn't think it was all that exciting initially. Compared to other acts she is BARELY promoted here. It used to be fine because she had a big fan base here but as is now obvious her name is not as important here as it used to be. She has barely done any interviews here, particularly in the last 10 (!!!) years. And I can't think of any other act, yet alone a HUGE artist like her, who hasn't visited here even just for a brief promo tour in over 20 years. Her dwindling popularity is really no surprise that I'm even questioning whether a tour here would really be as big as I'd have thought even a few years ago. Honestly I think she'll struggle and even if she does do ok most people will complain that she doesn't sing all the 80's classics.
-
Wasn't Mariah meant to open the Grammy's in '06 or whenever and she got bumped for Madonna who wasn't even nominated.
Grammy's loves the promo Madonna brings to their show, they just don't like actually giving her awards. Cunts.
-
One of my favorite tracks. Love the beat. Always wanted her to mix it with "Manipulated Living" from Donnie Darko (Which was mixed into the opening of S&S) for a tour performance.
-
I watched the 2 clips. Was that the whole interview? All up about 5 mins?
-
Aren't the 25 track versions rumoured to be released two weeks after the others? In which case we'll have to buy the 19 track and then the super duper deluxe later. Well played M and co
I will most likely buy only one edition on iTunes and then just end up listening on Spotify instead! Unless the 25 track edition is not on there.
-
Who gives a shit whats on the 14 track version. Pretty sure all of us (except the cheap bastards) will be buying the Super Deluxe 25 track edition anyway. And who gives a shit about the order of the songs, when most people make their own tracklists or listen non-sequentially. Calm the fuck down seriously.
-
Cheers for the scans.
-
I've pretty much assumed I'll be getting shit seats. I don't go to many big name concerts so i really have no idea what to do when buying tickets. I'll just log on when they go on sale and hiope for the best.
-
Maybe she can do the AFL grand final?
-
Out of all her recent covers I think this one is probably the best! Can't wait to read the article and hopefully see some more pictures from this session!
-
I know it's a long shot but I think it'd be really cool if she came here to do some live promo and maybe a small club gig like she's done in Paris/London/NY. She went to Japan for promo during Confessions, I don't see why she couldn't come here for a week or so. I know some people won't agree with me, but unless she does SOMETHING for the aussie fan I think she'll struggle here with the album and singles.
-
Well, if it helps Joan of Arc and Messiah are my 2 fav of the album. I don't find any flaw in Joan of Arc.
From all the comments I'm reading those two songs seem to be the most polarizing. People either really love them or completely hate them. I'm referring to the demo's too BTW. Judging from some comments though, the album versions dont sound like the demo's so who knows?
-
How do you explain this to delusional monsters? Like, what's the best way to defend Madonna as a holder of the Queen of Pop title? I was thinking sales?
Stop. There is no point. Let them live in a delusional world. Ignore them and enjoy Madonna and everything she has to offer!
And Chellegasm I hope so too re vocals. I'm a bit worried we might get a ROL VMA's '98 again. :/
-
I would love this. I love when she just sings, and I don't need anything else from her. LAP was my favorite at Super Bowl. I loved her TPOG performances during ROL era. Lived Live Aid. I also love when she dances and puts on a spectacle. I will be happy with just about anything.
They aren't bad but for the first performance for this new era I'd love a big huge production. Although I wouldn't mind a "Music" style performance. That entrance out of the Cadillac was kick ass! And the Material Girl tshirt + the gold confetti just made it epic. Still one of my favourite award show performances. We're about 2 weeks out and looks like the promotion in the lead up will be pretty strong so it's definitlely exciting time!
-
This is what I was expecting too.
Can't wait to hear the finished versions of these 2
I didn't listen to the demos so I'm definitely keen to hear them. Although I have read a lot of negative reviews of Joan of arc so...
-
Am I the only one not expecting a highly choreographed performance. I don't think she'll do much dancing so I'm expecting something a bit like Like A Prayer at the Super Bowl/MDNA tour. Her kind of just moving around on the stage with a choir in the back ground. Not expecting a blow you away performance to be honest. Still looking forward to it!
-
I think the two tracks we'll get in Feb will be Hold Tight (track 7) and Joan of Arc (track 8). Seems logical they would release the first 8 tracks sequentially rather two random tracks. I could be wrong though.
-
I haven't listened to any of the demos other than Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me so this track listing is pretty meaningless. Cool to see Nas is on the album though. I wouldn't mind RH and WAOM being re-worked as I don't think they fit the sound of the 6 released tracks.
What's the bet though that the songs everyone hopes are re-worked sound exactly the same and the ones everyone liked as is get changed. Hahahahah
-
If true they make a very good-looking couple. They definitely seem close.
Rebel Heart SPOILERS thread: all leaks will be reported to Guy Oseary

As someone who was not keen on Avicii, reading that he's "been scrubbed" from the album is music to my ears.
