    Marine Le Pen explained the euro currency makes everything more expensive in France, and if elected, she'd try to bring back the franc. This is one of the reasons why she wants a FREXIT—out of the European Union!

    she doesn't explain anything - she says it makes it more expensive but that is just an "alternative fact", as many other things she just simplifies. If you compare how expensive things are now compared to when the euro was introduced, that is for sure true, but that is simply inflation, and let's not forget wages usually rise as well.  The french franc was not really famous for its stability either. And one of the reasons she wants out of the EU is, that she doesn't accept certain rules set up by others and wants to have a "France first" policy. She also sits in the european parliament (or actually not that often), and she also misused european money for parliamentary work for her own party. Isn't it a coincidence her party is also funded monetarily by russia as well.

    News flash, all presidents do this.  Obama was the first to start disrespecting the entire laws of the land and governing almost primarily by executive order, forcing policies through that weren't legally passed through Congress.  He was the one to start blurring the lines between the balance checks in place in the system.  He was the one who disrespected all the laws of the land with his joke of a Justice department that is totally corrupt and morally bankrupt.  Issuing more pardons and clemencies than anyone.  There can't be different laws for different people, which is exactly the practice he promoted more than anyone.  I voted for Obama, but he was an absolutely terrible president outside of certain social policies.  Social policy is not enough.

    As far as I know every president used numerous executive orders to get his points across. At least based on pure numbers Obama issued even less executive orders than his predecessors. It isn't completely unprecedented and unheard off in US politics.

  3. maybe it is a german centric perspective I have, but I personally think it is nice to wave flags if a national team won, or on national holidays or such (which I do myself), but just for a party celebration I honestly think it is not the right time to do that. I guess it i just a result of all the years, when we learn from young age what our nation did as bad stuff. Thus sometimes pure bride for your nation just based on the lucky circumstance to be born here isn't the right thing to do.

    And at that particular moment of the gif, when she was standing there, these men around her sang a song (totally out of tune) . Then she was given a tiny flag to show how happy she is (also about them doing the bad Karaoke).   I personally would have also thought, well better not to wave flag while my colleagues do bad Karaoke (which you don't hear without sound), as that particular circumstance would make it ridiculous.

  4. I know many people who supported Hillary since they thought her plans are more realistic to get through congress, in case she would have been elected (it was pretty much clear the house wouldn't flip). I assume Bernie wouldn't have been better off with a House lead by republicans with his plans. Now, we won't know what would have happened in terms of protests, if Clinton would have won over Trump - but with his rethoric of maybe not accepting the result of the elections in case he would lose (which Clinton has done a few hours after it was clear she lost, and her campaign admitted right away she didn't win), I doubt his people would have just gone home without any protesting and yelling either.

  5. well anyways flash should *ALWAYS* be banned - and there are often people who ignore it - and then claim - they did too - which isn't true. I was once called out as one moron took  a photo with flash and accused me of doing the same, so he would yell at me and he could sneak out. I have an SLR for god's sake - and it is pretty obvious i didn't when there is a glass in front of the painting (MORONS)

  6. at least the german speaking media I read, talk both about violence from the far right (when houses planned to accomodate refugees are burnt down or mosques/synagogues are damaged), as well as from the far left (when once again they think it is "fun" to burn or destroy cars - or damage houses of political opponents - and you are right, both sucks. But both sides are nowadays supported from parties of the political spectrum.

    Where did Marine Le Pen sympathize with Nazis? You seem to be talking about her father, who she kicked out of the party once she took over.

    Did you ever listen to what other party members say - and everytime the party leader then clarify: they didn't really mean what was was said - but something slightly different *wink wink*. This time it goes not against jewish people (they are now rather used to ignite fear of muslims nowadays, only old Le Pen didn't get that it seems), but either Roma or Muslims. By the way here niece is more radical and rising as new poster girl for the party - and she claimed one has to understand what her grandfather has said. So we hardly know if it is rather a change in tone than a real change in final goals.

  8. in the louvre it was allowed to take pictures but not with flash (everywhere). Unless they changed it now for the Mona Lisa, ridiculous like the Nofrete in Berlin) And people don't respect that which is why i just would put a big fine on people taking pictures of art. It destroys the art in the long term (unless you have an anti UV-coding on it). And trust me on every picture taken with flash you clearly do see it, so could be easy to proof.

    BTW didn't Beyonce take a picture with the Mona Lisa lately, so I guess it is still allowed.

    NO, you don't get to breach European agreements and then threaten other EU member states THAT ACTUALLY UPHOLD THOSE BORDER AGREEMENTS to boot. BTW This behavior by big EU countries is not restricted to migration issues. #Germany @beta_test

    well if they in fact would have kept the agreement and everything else, then yes I would agree. But if you violate more or less other agreeements constantly too (and we all know Dublin doesn't work anymore), then you cannot complain if the big countries do it too

    Suppressing debate about these issues  and bullying European neighbors - as done by German authorities - into accepting these migrants is NOT an example to follow.

    @Raider of the lost Ark

    concerning migrants:  if you actually want to have ALL benefits of a club (and we know who gets money and structural support in the EU). Maybe it is also understandable if those who in fact pay for all of it, might hope for understanding and a tiny bit of support in return. Also I don't know how Orban or the polish government is having free debates in their own backyard - while crying out loud that they are not allowed to phrase their opinion. (being invited and speaking about their concern in front of the press is obviously not enough to express it too)

  11. i wouldn't rule out though he might have made those comments without thinking (after all we have seen his erratic way of discussing things before). At least he has a history of bringing nuclear weapons up and being vage, in what case he might think of using the nuclear Arsenal.

    and here we have him talking about maybe using it against ISIS
