Woah, Tel-Aviv is the 4th highest grossing city of the tour!!
-
Are the Celebration commercial being played on TV anywhere????
-
-
its an ok song, but it sounds like britney spears.
-
where are the boxscore numbers for the last two shows in tel-aviv?
-
So how much of that $408 mill goes into Esther's pocket (roughly)?
Artists usually get 1/3 of the gross. The rest covers costs, fees, etc etc.
Rolling Stone once had a detailed article on the breakout $ of a rock concert.
-
Here's a real good close-up of Lola dancing with madonna at the closing of the show in Tel-Aviv!!
-
Who was keeping track of the tour gross with that excel spreadsheet?? For some reason, the spreadsheet is missing from this topic. it used to be there
-
Yes, although i didnt notice it was lola playing until people told me.
and when she closed the show with madonna, i also wasnt entirely sure it was her cause her boobs were huge lol.
-
The two final shows in Israel will likely bring another $12,500,000 to the total. The tickets cost $125 flat rate (except golden circle and vip) and 100,000 people attended.

Goodbye Sticky and Sweet
The final show tonight was amazing! it was my first ever. rocco and lola even made a cameo!
the crowd of 50,000 went wild for her
-
I was at the final show tonight and it was fucking amazing!!! rocco was indeed on the turntables and madonna finished the show with lola by her side.
The crowd loved her, especially when she wore the israeli flag around her neck at Give it To me!!
woohoo!! first time i saw her! was great!

^ No, sign of him so far.
Perez twittered : @GuyOseary "Rumor" has it that Lourdes will join M on stage for Give It To Me during last show of tour. Hope it's true! I'd love that!
The first concert is sold out; 53,000 tickets were sold for the first show. 46,000 tickets were sold for the second show, as of early today. It's expected that the second show would be sold out as well by tomorrow, as sales are still going strong.
So that's basically $12,500,000 for two nights, at least. Wow!!

?? I barely hear any booos in that youtube video. Wow these new articles about the booing are making such a big deal out of nothing. I was expecting a sinead oconnor incident lol
-
I was looking through some of the youtube videos for the one minute Celebration commercial. So far, at least 10 people have asked "what song is playing at 0:20?"
There were no other questions other than for that song. interesting no?
The song is Dress you up
-
Its not the worst ever, but the cover is appaling and disgusting. no sex appeal whatsoever
-
The pic on the right-hand side (as "Like a Prayer" begins to play) at 00:31 is an odd choice -- I don't know that it's actually Madonna. I recall seeing that as the cover of the "Royal Philharmonic Plays the Music of Madonna" record. (Yes, I actually bought that one day in a particularly dull moment in between Madonna releases...)
But otherwise it's great. Well done. Looking forward to the Celebration vid.
That Royal Philharmonic CD of Madonna music is great!!! I absolutely love it.

The best greatest hits commercial was Cher's. in my opinion.
-
it's not going to become a hit because its just not that great of a song.
-
I am happy that La Isla Bonita is using the LP version and not the IC version which cuts off the beginning and end.
-
I feel they skipped a lot of great 1990's hits and put too much emphasis on 2000-2008 barely hits and 1983-1984.
-
I can't imagine that Live to Tell won't be on the album (according to that tracklist)...
-
yay would like to see what she has to say!
-
Just have regular commercial with snippets of a bunch of songs, like cher did for her greatest hits, and it'll do just fine.
Okay, so I've decided...
in ARCHIVE - Madonna

Well does anyone here own both the 1cd and 2cd version of the Evita soundtrack?
