  1. It's not, but i think it's a bit unfair to expect her to "set trends" till the day she dies.

She can absolutely still set trends. She can find some unknown talented producer and work with him and make a kick ass album. She find some world music producer, or some underground techno producer, or dabble with all sorts of musical sounds. She can always come up with good melodies and write good lyrics if she puts effort into it. Fans always appreciate a good quality album (like Ray of Light - those were not such catchy songs yet the music was brilliant).

  2. Something else to think about:

While Madonna has a Top 40 hit and is gearing up for a lucrative, soldout world tour,Janet and Mariah are doing weight loss commercials  We need to be happy that Madonna's career is still going strong.

There's no question that her career is amazing. This tour will make half a billion dollars. BUT, her music is kinda crappy lately. I really wish she's do a good quality, personal album again. And I know I didnt hear this album yet, but the first 4 songs we heard so far arent so great in my opinion. The lyrics are dreadful too.

  3. I'm SO SO happy she did Like A Prayer - it's everyone's favorite. Althought I wish Ray of Light/Holiday was used instead of Music.

There was more than enough time to add another two songs to that set list. There was a lot of wasted time with dub step (whatever that DJ shit is called), and remix sounds.

  4. Madonna to open 2012 tour in Israel?

Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Red Hot Chili Peppers expected to perform in Israel in summer of 2012

The summer of 2012 is worth waiting for in terms of foreign artists' performances in Israel.

YNET has learned that Bruce Springsteen ("The Boss") is in advanced talks for a concert in Israel. As first reported by Yedioth Ahronoth, Madonna and Lady Gaga will arrive in the Holy Land next summer as well. Advanced talks are also being held with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Let's start with Springsteen. Israeli producers have been trying for years to get him to perform in Israel, but have been unsuccessful. This time, the talks are said to be taking a positive direction. The American rock icon is expected to arrive in Israel for one concert in June 2012, most likely at the Ramat Gan Stadium.

Madonna's arrival, as usual, will be the noisiest. The Queen of Pop last performed in Israel in September 2009, in front of 100,000 people. It was the highest grossing stop on the second leg of her "Sticky and Sweet" world tour. This time, Madonna is expected to launch her world tour in Israel in May 2012, either at the Ramat Gan Stadium or Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park. She is scheduled to spend three weeks in the Holy Land, working on her concert tour.

Lady Gaga performed in Israel in August 2009, a moment before becoming one of the world's biggest pop stars. This time, she is expected to arrive in the Holy Land for the concerts in August 2012, at a new stadium being built in Petah Tikva.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have yet to sign an agreement for a concert, but music industry officials believe that the American rock band will perform in Israel in late July, most likely at Yarkon Park.

All four artists will likely be brought to Israel by producer Shuki Weiss, who has been working with the Live Nation international production company which represents the singers.

Weiss' office said in response, "It's too early to rejoice. Once we have something to report, we'll do so."
