  1. The news is hot just because is a new Madonna single, nevertheless I’m not enthusiastic with this so call "new song" I hate that Madonna comes late with producers that sooner already have a big hit, and by the time she gets them people find out or comes with the conclusion that she is desperate for a hit, mostly in the US.

The sound of Hard Candy is a match of Nelly/Timberlake/Timbaland work, and now she'll have the same Akon/Kelly/kid kudi sound.

Off topic, I find this review from the Hard Candy era, and I completely agree with everything, it hurts the truth. I want the original Madonna, not the copycat.

    Must agree with this...

… “Unlike her best work, Madonna has nothing clever or interesting to say on this album. Perhaps she was stung by the reaction of the more personal material on the comparatively strong “American Life,” and decided to try and match the vapid emptiness that passes for much of the Top 40 these days. Turning 50 doesn’t mean that Madonna should turn into a wizened elder popstress reminiscing fondly about her glory days, but shouldn’t her songs show a little more insight and life-experience than the average pop-tart being mass-produced for 13-year olds at Wal-Mart?

Madonna usually sets trends, but on “Hard Candy” she’s clearly in follower mode. Vocally, she sounds particularly shrill and disconnected with the material. Very little of it seems genuine and believable. It’s Madonna karaoke to a soundtrack provided by ace producers. There’s nothing original or particularly interesting here: others have done it all before, and better – including Madonna herself. The concept of the album is better than the execution. It sadly stacks up as one of the weaker albums of her catalogue, and perhaps the weakest. Hopefully “Hard Candy” will be looked back upon as a prelude to a fantastic late-career era. She can certainly do better than this.”

SO WORK FOR ANOTHER AMERICAN LIFE MASTER PIECE BITCH. It doesn't matter if isn't a commercial success.

  2. I am pretty sure this song is for a new David Guetta Album. I went to her concert in Mexico 2 weeks ago, and he played 2 new songs, the first he introduced as his new Collaboration with Akon ("Party Animal" was the name I guess), and the when the show was over, he return to play one more new song feat. Fergie amd someone else. I am sure he is preparing people for her next material not so long to appear.

  3. I bought yesterday the CD/DVD which was the only release (the Blu Ray was nowhere), the guy in the store didn't even know that there is going to be a BluRay edition.

So what the fuck they did with the audio, this is awful, is a mess, it sounds like a bunch of studio versions with fake audience in the background. I haver really enjoyed her live voice in the past live cds, and also enjoy really much the concert, they have dissapointed me yet again.

  4. A great era for her and for us. I actually became a big fan after I see Truth or Dare in teathers. BAT-VOGUE was everything. It was all I wanted to do back then, dancing like Madonna.

An interesting fact that I recall...

Truth or Dare movie became the all-time # 1 "Documentary" and "Music Concert" in US.

And is still todate among top 10 in both categories:

  5. I think these kind of news hurt her instead of creating buzz for her. Every single news point the fact that she has ignored Australia for many years, and for the most succesffl tours. It kinda scares me that people would stil feel angry and not interested by the time she go, that the tour would become a flop in there.

  6. This is the only onw song with the potential of making the whole people scream, dance, jump during a concert. No matter if it is mixed with 4 minutes, Holiday, dear Jessie, lucky star, with ring ring rings and tik tok tik tok tik toks every 5 seconds, still woulod be the highlight of the show.

It was for me on her S&S

BTW this is the very first album I owned of hers. And I didn't even wanted the CD I ask my father for the vinyl. After I saw the Blonde Ambition on TV, all I wanted to do was VOGUING.

  7. I think LAP was the most energetic moment, but Vogue got everybody's reaction, it was the top of the show as I feel it with the audience.

I just have to admit that in Mexico there were many 50 YO people who doesn't now Madonna work after Vogue, for them Madonna is an 80's artist, and most of the new songs were unknown so people were just standing there, and when they finally got Like a Prayer, they expected the original version.

  8. Actually now that this is mentioned. This must be because of that ugly bitch Tina Fey, she hate Madonna as hell. When she was part of Saturday night live she also make the bitterness comments about Madonna.

I remember she was the lady who gave the news, and she used to say bullshit about Madonna, her music and David adoption.
