With new people in the creative team, hopefully our wish will come true. I do suspect though that it will be more technology driven than good old drama and props coming to the fore
I'm hoping for some REAL excitement (Read- Superbowl). I'm paying good money to fly out to UAE to see her ! ( Flights,Concert tickets,Hotel ! )
If she goes to Australia in 2013 I will also fly out there to see her again if the concert is ball-breakingly fantastic !

I wonder if it would have been different if WE wasn't in the picture. If she had just come back with a brand new album and promoted it globally like she did with WE.
I mean they had the MDNA album launch here in Bangkok and that was tied in with the Gaga Born this way Ball!!!
I think in the end people just have problems with Madonna coming back with a Non-Middle-Age album ( Thank God ! ) and a sexualised image.

Not really. The key is to have appropriate graphics. S&S was def lazy!
I can't imagine what else could be done that can be projected well enough that everyone in a stadium could see/enjoy. That being said though, I would love more theatrical elements like that used in the GS...the disco section was amazing as was JML.....
amazing memories! I can't remember though if I could actually appreciate all that from where I was standing/sitting or that my memories are simply those from the recording.Honestly....I just want to see M again

)yes I would like to see more theatrical elements in this show too.( Like in Superbowl and to an extend Drowned World -which I saw.) It would be cool to mix that in with the new technology.
I mean they brought Tupac back from the dead via Hologram at Coachella so it would be cool to have something of that effect in the show .

. It was all so generic (apart from DAD) without M in them. And don't get me started on that Rain interlude....that was a complete embarrassment....WTF!?!But aren't you bored with the screens. I know I was bored to death watching SS with those lame graphics and yes that Rain interlude... That was my WTF moment form SS along with Candy Shop being performed LIVE."My Sugar is RAHW."

I got this from News of Madonna . Hmm I'm just not into those vdo screens but I think it will be similar to Superbowl with the floor screens .
Hopefully there will be super cool graphics/imagery .

2.Drowned World Tour - Cos I was there.
3. Virgin Tour - I saw it not so long ago on a bootleg DVD and it was FRESH !
4. Confession Tour _ Lovely opening and I love the raw nrg for Hung Up .
5.The Girlie Show -Kinda a bit saggy in the middle
6.Who's That Girl Tour- Madonna wearing Gaultier Corset for the first time.It felt Big but lacking in Finesse .
7.Sticky and Sweet Tour- Those hideous Givenchy and Lourdes hand me down costumes. Those songs ( My sugar is RAHW .No ) . The use of 'interesting' dancers . The middle finger throughout the show. the sticking het finger up her crotch for Give It 2 Me .That was embarrassing .
8. The Reinvention Tour . The cheap looking costumes. The horrible mix of music. She murdered Borderline . Granny tea room dancing to Hanky Panky.The kilt . That ugly stage !Her Vogue costume was good but I thought the dancers' costumes looked so local theater project. cheap and so naff.

I feel like there are a lot of overlapping in term of branding with this era. Are we supposed to love Madonna-the filmmaker , Madonna-the pop star, Madonna -the Perfumery etc ? I thought this era was geared toward re establishing her as an iconic pop superstar someone who at 53 could still sell records by the millions and have instant sell oit shows in multiple countries but so far I have not seen much effort in that .
I agree with LG regarding the leasing out the Madonna's name and I sure hope that she doesn't become the Pierre Cardin of Pop. I don't think she will. I think Guy shouldn't be fired but maybe managing a career of Madonna - the Iconic Pop Star is not something he excels at.

That's a good setlist except for Heartbeat /Best Friend thingy. Also I think if the show ends with I'm Addicted it would be more to the point of MDNA tour/album .

The way I see it : she promoted Hard Candy quite aggressively. Those stupid interviews in candy shops,mag covers , Perez Hilton banter , TV appearances and promo tours which didn't translate into sales. I remember her being everywhere .
Yeah I wished she had promoted MDNA more aggressively since it's a better record than Hard candy (imo) but what can you do? Maybe she is trying a new tactic.
I shall wait for the tour and see.

doin revolver is a waste of time...and she wont sing it for sure...
and i dont know why everybody thinks she ll open the concert with GangBang theme section??? it will be pure dance..something like Girl gone wild + I m addicted and some. and i m sure she still doesent know how will setlist looklike..so its impossible to have rightone.
Because she has said in interviews that the first part of the show would be very violent and that she needed to work through her anger to get to the fun part.

i thought she was good in it -charming / beautiful etc but I don't know why she does it. The promo for MDNA has been so random and this was supposed to be ' An Exciting Year' .

I don't think it's about something as narrow as 'oh he should have arranged three more television appearances'. I think the Madonna name is being mismanaged. Greedily milking the touring cow, endless trotting out of progressively cheaper products like MADONNA SHOES and not nearly enough attention to re-establishing her as a central force in the music world. I thought this era would be all about reaffirming her dominance and trying to make her bigger than ever, instead everything after the Superbowl has gone by like a wet fart.

When MDNA was on the horizon I thought this era would be Madonna:World Re-Domination but so far not so good !

No . I love this album. It's not a top notch perfect album but there are so many gems on it that it's like a gift that keeps on giving.
Gang Bang, Falling Free, Love Spent and GGW are my favs.
And ROL was one of Madonna'd many definitive moments musically imo.
