I really can't get through this car crash of a recording, it's up there with Into The Hollywood Groove.
And that intro definitely is the new Heyyyyyy Britneyyyyy.
+1
couldn't bother with this one, glad it isn't on her album.

Let's be honest, the most ageist stuff I am reading is from fans - always bringing up her age and saying we can't expect great performances from her or choreography etc. Madonna was walking up and down stairs with an eyepatch on and heaving clothing. It impeded her movement, that was the issue with the movement. .Pure and simple.
Madonna is a true professional, a vibrant wonderful performer. She had a less than perfect performance - obviously had problems with the sound from the get go and then looked nervous but just talking of her age is doing her a huge disservice. She is too wonderful to just have people bring up her age like she is a frail has been. This is Madonna, the biggest female star ever and someone who never wants to be pitied or excused. Love her attitude.
Within a week, we will all be looking forward to whatever else she has coming up. She always prevails.
I completely agree with everything you said Jazzy, couldn't have said it better

I feel like I've watched something else....I actually LOVED it and thought I'd be reading more praise tbh
Like a Prayer felt more like an "intro" before the reveal and my only complaint would be Quavo's lack of presence, those few seconds of him doing his part felt like an eternity.
Madonna was great, the spoken part, the visuals, the moves, the message, the BALLS, it gave me goosebumps.
I'm also having difficulty believing how STUNNING she looks and the outfit was amazing

I can listen to Crave and Secret all day long . It has that urban vibe ( without trying to be hip and current ) .
For me it's a classic already .
I have Crave after Secret on my playlist too!
Her voice is everything on this track, it's front and center and charged with emotion. I also love that it's not drowned behind heavy production and bad mastering.
So in love with this song

IMO Crave is better than every lead single and 2nd single she's released since her WBR years.

I love GT the song and I absolutely love RH but I didn't like GT video at all . It was just ..odd.
I couldn't get into it either, I'd like to say more but....back to CRAVE
What if those images are from the new video?? If yes then it looks minimal but in a good way, hopefully with lots of stunning closeups as these images indicate
@Danmacevents the shots don't seem to be from Medellin but glad you brought it up, had no idea they put out a vertical video!

I'm hoping for a stunningly visual era ! Do you like the track ? I'm OBSESSED ! I love Medellin / I Rise too but this is the track I'm connected to the most .
Also for once am not hating the grillz !
Me too! I can't stop listening to it, my favorite of the 3 so far!!
There's something so reminiscent of 90s Madonna in her voice that I can't pinpoint and I have a feeling the video will be beautiful, you brought up GT earlier and couldn't agree with you more btw

This song is absolutely gorgeous. Moody, laid back, summery, atmospheric. I love her vocals on this and Swae Lee works great on this track.
So in love with her voice on it, she's also front and center rather than buried behind production. Can't wait for the official release on Friday

Was worried after reading the negative comments but I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Her voice is beautiful and Swae's feature is not overwhelming

My favorite so far. Why these kind of pics didn’t end as a album cover? Too perfect for words!!!
Both album covers are perfect as they are though, timeless closeups and already have a classic feel to them even though the album isn't out yet

I love how everyone references to a different song
My turn : it reminds me of Best Night and Ghosttown, with a little bit of Inside Out.
I agree with the person that said it sounds like a RH track with a proper mix
At first listen I've been confused by her voice and the way she sings, especially in the verses, she reminds me of Sia...
Add this: Unapologetic Bitch
I’m going through it...Yeah, I know you see the tragic in it
Woke up this morning feeling that you were gone...I thought awhile, but I'm finally moving on

I watched Wendy Williams commentary on the performance. I mean if you look like Wendy I guess its natural to get envious. Its not like she herself is a spring chicken herself, but she kept saying M had "old lady" moves. What does this even mean? Horrible role model if she is one. I don't get such women. She should be thanking M for paving the way.
It's an extremely technical performance, there's very little room for her to dance freely as she must be in specific spots and positions at every single moment which is not an easy task when you're dealing with many props and a live audience...she makes it look effortless thanks to her professionalism but if you watch Maluma he had trouble holding up his mic at times and was saved by the back track.
That said, I do think too much staging and spectacles are good for a kick-off award show performance but she does not need it which is why my favorite part of this performance was the first minute when she was alone.

Can't stop listening to it and now can't stop watching this

I RISE made my day, the background vocals and harmonies are glorious

I wish she would hire Michael Houtz as a designer, watching this makes me miss seeing her name designed by top class designers who understand the value of typography. Reminds me of her days with Fabien Baron.
