nightcutter
Bad Girl has always been a favorite of mine: cinematic and dark and edgy. I find it interesting that over the years a few people have mentioned finding the melody strained and unappealing. I found it instantly catchy the first time I played the song in 1992, and nothing has changed. Effortless and addictive. Absolutely. I was hooked the very first time I heard it too. SomeofShane and Nightcutter, you both got the song straight away. I hate to admit it but at first I was not blown away by Bad Girl. I liked it but did not love it. Then when I saw the video, it all clicked for me. Now, I love the song so much and wonder why I did not have that initial reaction I always do with Madonna ballads. The video is flawless and love Madonna's look and performance of Louise Oriole. The video has always fascinated me.
