Madonna’s album is gonna be so good that everyone will switch to Tidal to listen to it. That’s pretty much gonna be the end of Apple play.

Well then why is the most recent apple smiling?

M and her Gucci flip flops.  u can spot her from miles 😃

Remember when she said in an interview that the only time she isn't recognised is when she goes skiing? I think most of us could recognise her anywhere.

Album cover is completed and decided upon. Album is finished. Video is gonna be shot this week. So I think with the pride announcement, she’ll announce the album for preorder with tracklisting and album cover...maybe with first single...something like that is what I’m thinking!!!! So excited!

    100% complete? Mastering & everything?

Makes sense she is in London mixing the album if Lauren is still there too...

    It's a mixtape now... A trap mixtape.

Edit: About the bathroom... Even if we can say for certain which one it is, what if the photo is a few days old?

Cardi and Nicki both contributed to a track (Motorsport or something like that?) ... and after that the beef started. Cardi accused Nicki of changing her verse, Nicki claimed she was asked by the producer (or the other artist whose track Motorsport  was) to change the verse.

I don’t know ... I didn’t really follow what the big deal was. But that is supposedly the origin of the beef. Sounds to me like both of them may have had some things to say about each other privately.

I highly doubt Nicki said anything like “don’t do this” or “don’t work with that person” ... the scenario is just laughable. Who tells Madonna what to do? (As fans on this very forum complained, neither Nicki nor MIA told Madonna that GMAYL wasn’t as strong a track as she may have thought it was ... so ... I doubt Nicki is bossing Madonna around ... esp. not about Cardi.)

Madonna was chumming it up with Cardi at her Oscar party, and then she was chumming it up with Nicki at the Met Gala and at the VMAs. People are making drama where there is none.

I've heard of some dispute over that song so maybe that is where it began. Either way, a lot of people including Cardi have claimed that Nicki was telling people not to work with her. Laughable as it may be, it could have happened.

By the way I wasn't suggesting that anyone could tell Madonna what to do, quite the opposite.

  6. As far as this little feud between Nicki & Cardi goes... To me this track confirms that M has no intention of taking any sides.

The beef started, not because of likes on social media but because Cardi believed that Nicki was being two faced by being nice to her when they met yet telling various other people that they shouldn't work with her. M has now featured on a track alongside Cardi who raps "Somebody told you not to fuck with me I would listen (Nope)". I doubt M is going to suddenly shun Nicki but I think there is a possibility that doing this track may be in part M's way of showing her that she can't tell people who they should or shouldn't work with.

Looks as Quavo moved the album from Quality Control Music YouTube site to a new site he created for himself QUAVO HUNCHO. But, notice it now only has 18 tracks... yes, Champagne Rose is missing. 😞

It was on this channel when it was released because I definitely listened to it there the first time I heard it. So if it's not there now it's been removed from the channel for some reason.

  8. It's catchy, not the kind of thing I would personally choose to listen to but it seems to appeal to people who like that sort of thing & lately there are a lot of them. It's nice to hear people outside of M's fanbase saying she is the best part of the song (which a lot of people are). It keeps her on peoples minds & it's not terrible... This is mumble rap so it could have been a lot worse.

A lot of you are mad at her for doing exactly what you scolded her for not doing last time. We basically know nothing, which means she has probably successfully recorded an album and kept a tight lid on it. Good for her, I say.

    I was thinking that too.

Despite what a lot of people on this forum say, I think trying to increase streaming for an older artist like Madonna is a losing battle. What she really needs to do is think outside of the box and give people an incentive to buy the physical by including some extra bonus you can't get by streaming. For example. What if she wrote her autobiography and it had never before seen rare pictures and it was bundled with the new album? Something very unique like that is the only way to really increase her sales. Not the standard perform on some tv show. That isn't going to make a huge difference.

    Why increase both?

I do agree that to sell physical copies (whoever the artist is) they do need to give people some kind of incentive. But I also think that there are ways to promote streams & there are probably ways to give fans incentive to promote online, if there is nobody else to do it. But it would be GuyO's job to come up with that kind of plan. I won't be holding my breath.

Without a proper label nothing is going to change. It will be like MDNA and Rebel Heart all over again.

No manager has the connections a label has.

A label like Warner has local marketing, promotion and radio teams in every single developed country in the world. How could Guy push the song in Germany, France, Brazil etc..? We're talking about a global superstar. He can't do anything from some office in LA.

If you count how many employees Warner has in every country, we're talking about THOUSANDS of people who worked hard on a LOCAL level to promote her singles and albums. People who spoke the local language, with connections and a budget they had from each country's Warner subsidiary.

This post is very depressing but ultimately true. Although I wouldn't say that noting is going to change. Improvements could be made to at least try to outperform the promo for the last two albums. But it's not gonna come close to what would be possible with a company like Warner & a better deal.
