The SScan list is not out yet, I believe.

It's all about the CREATIVE PROCESS, not lists or numbers.

I think they might have been thinking more about how TAB did worldwide. M/Warner have always had this reluctance to release different singles to different regions - I can only remember Oh Father/Dear Jessie, and DW/SFL to fill out the gap between ROL and TPOG goodbye.TAB rescued BS from possible oblivion in the USA- the album had dropped to No. 33 in its 5th week, despite "Secret" doing well on radio and such. Once TAB hit, it sent the album back to the top 20. If not for TAB, BS could have ended up significantly lower in USA sales than what it saw. So, it should be "Secret" that should be compared to 4M, if anything. -
I wasn't going to go anyways

I think the revised ones are too high as well... POM/POS sold around the same and debuted at #65.

Madge doing around My December/Blackout numbers is not shocking. She has more airplay, but Britney was released around the holiday season and Kelly did a lot of promo.
-
WOW, must be the HOT anime video getting it all those sales!50 51 Britney Spears Break The Ice -
Get it, MADGE!
And LMFAO at Touch my Fat Chicken. Is this what people were predicting to make a return to #1?

Madge sure knew what she was doing!
Has Break the Ice been released as a CD-single in the UK?

http://acharts.us/billboard_hot_100/2007/41really?!?!?! sorry i wasn't following anyone else's career other than MADONNA's real chart competitors... -
Hopefully Madge will have a nice long run in the Top 10.
Trivia: Gimme More jumped 68-3 roughly six months ago, and that was also her highest peaking single since a #1 8 years ago Hopefully 4M won't fall like GM though.
