yes...even though we're all proud and happy now how she recovered...i'm still a bit on edge all evening, that is why i need to see our QUEEN tomorrow talking about it like herself again
Mmhmm. That's why I needed my husband to pick up a big ass bottle of Cabernet on his way home.

How I felt? I don't think I'll ever fucking forget it. I'm not sure I want her to perform this song again. She performed in the past at other ceremonies and I never really thought much of it, I was just happy. But this era, I felt oddly nervous and an incredible anxiety before her performance at both the grammys and the brits, I had a weird and bad feeling every time, don't really get where that kind of energy is coming from.
My only thoughts were that she was hurt and the show would stop, I was shacking so bad. If that was me I would've just stood there and cried, there is nothing more humiliating. She got up, put her crown back on her head and carried on and she was GLORIOUS. I can't put into words how proud I am of her, I love her even more now if thats possible.

^ Yes! The new choreography thrown in is phenomenal.

Madonna yanked backwards off the stage gets up & finishes the song like the whole filthy thing never happened.
Elvira!

Hector. Your Royal flushes have been wonderful as usual.
Agreed. Thanks, Hec!

This is a thread about Madonna nailing it during a very challenging performance.
LIVE FOR LOVE, PEOPLE!

I'm not seeing it either, HolidayGuy.

^ I saw that earlier on ET. Accompanied by a great B&W backstage photo of her.

Was it just me or did the few seconds she was on the floor feel like several minutes??!! I think the entire process of her getting up and carrying on was so shocking that I had no clue if she'd carry on or just end the performance, I was literally shaking and all my Madonna friends were texting me and ringing me, it was such a huge moment, but the fact she got up and carried on shows how ICONIC she is!
She naturally got herself back "INTO THE GROOVE".
Yeah, it did seem like an eternity. I think we all kind of felt the fall with her... only she's the one who recovered quickly! I feel so much pride for her right now. She not only kept going but put everything she had into finishing it. And it was fucking great.

The BRIT performance was a fantastic staging of "Living For Love". Everything from her kick ass outfit (such a cool look, one of my favorites on her ever) and she was spoiling us with new, intricate, amazing choreography woven into the Grammy staging we saw mere days ago.
There is no point in ignoring the accident in the beginning, and everyone is free to make up their own mind about how comfortable they are revisiting it, but it is so rewarding to rewatch and fully appreciate this performance and Madonna's artisty.
SO PROUD OF OUR QUEEN!

It's been an hour and I'm still shaking at the whole thing.
She's the ultimate professional, showing everyone how it's done, and I'm just relieved to hear she's OK. Really proud to be her fan.
Same here. Not being melodramatic, I'm still shaky and anxious... can't come down from it. She was phenomenal and still managed the best performance of the night despite the accident.

I got sick to my stomach when she fell. She's a fucking pro and handled that perfectly.
Hope she's okay because that was not a little trip... that was a massive drop to the ground on her back and head.

OFF TO WATCH MADONNA!!!!!

Simon Cowell is slowly morphing into Elton John.

Lame ageist joke.

Kanye brought fire...
Paloma brought water...
I guess Madonna's in charge of air.
-
Oh, hurry Madonna...
-
OH, FUCKS SAKE.
-
God, I'm all shaky. COME ON MADONNA!!
-
Oh, yay. Memo.
Another whiny song with a guy begging someone to "Stay".
Brit Awards continued: The Queen is TRIUMPHANT giving the performance of her life!

She was yanked off of a 10 foot platform by her dancers, landed on her back and like a BOSS got right back up and finished another phenomenal performance of "Living For Love".
