lol Giorgio Armani is a bitter old queen and a shady one too. it is not the first time that he shades someone in a interview ( i guess it's the first time for M though)
it's clear to me that when he says that M is difficult he means that she is a bitch, this is what he won't dare to say
Yet instead he comes across as the bitch in that interview, so...

Yes and, while we're on the subject, someone needs to relay to Taylor Swift that her TWENTY guide vocals running at full volume still didn't manage to hide how off key her lead vox were during her BRITs performance.
-
OMG the AP has an amateur video online shot from the back and it's even more impressive since you can see how high the stairs and the plateform were
It's pretty hard to watch this one. Glad she's okay.

This is their way of selling the story 2 days in a row because there's nothing else to report on. TRUST.

Daily Star... you're a brit of a fucker!

Thanks for the translation(s) and links!

I love that average joe's are getting to see WHY Madonna's true fans have always stood by and supported her. She's an amazing, strong professional and always rises with grace in the face of adversity.
-
I find most of the sexual songs more comical/political than overtly sexual and I LOVE THEM.
If you "get" Madonna you will get these songs. Otherwise... well, we know her opinion on literalists, so... Yeah.

Why is it that older white men are thrilled when a powerful 56 year old woman who doesn't give a fuck what they think, and has spent her entire career dismantling their power, stumbles?
oh wait, i answered my own question. QUEEN
YES. I was about to say.. we know why.

In my opinion the reason its so traumatizing for us to see the fall is because its Madonna. THE MADONNA! Yes she has had mishaps and stuff like on tour but thats different because she is with her fans and all that but it has never really happened to her on a live award show and the media is all over it again because its MADONNA the icon, the legend, the queen. She has always delivered when it comes to performances so when this happened it was shocking for us and for the rest of the world..
Absolutely. It sounds ridiculous but it felt like the wind had been knocked out of me in that moment. I said earlier, for anyone watching live... we took that fall with Madonna, only she recovered much faster than the rest of us. Love her!

A true, exquisite professional. She was 'walking the walk', not just through the ironic "Living For Love" lyrics but through lyrics that span her 30+ year career:
"And if I fall, I get up again now... I GET UP AGAIN OVER AND OVER!" - 1984
"If you tried and failed GET UP AGAIN" - 2015
She's amazing.

Yes I won a chat with her! Along with 4 other people. They emailed me back today saying they got my signed release form and next week they'll follow up with more details. I got the winning notice 2 days ago but superstitious me didn't want to celebrate till they verified that they got my release form and copy of my ID. I was going fucking crazy keeping this news to myself and trying to stay calm the past 2 days!!! I thought my chances were low to win cuz I saw so many people here, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram join the contest and my submitted pic was so whack! Anyway I'm beyond thrilled!!!
Congratulations, Hector! :D

Thanks so much to everyone for the updates and the pic!

Thanks! I think you right she really needed to see a lot of true fans in the audience tonight unfortunately all she is going to
see is a lot of sour faces who don't want to be there.
Being overly optimistic, but hopefully all of that media presence will translate into some favorable reviews for Madonna and for Rebel Heart. That may have been their thinking or --if nothing else-- the thinking of Jonathan Ross, bringing even more attention to his show.
-
It's shitty but also pretty much out of Madonna's control. It's a TV show and you have to blame Ross and his staff.
So sorry for the fans who were turned away, but let's try to focus on Madonna's interview and performances. I'm hoping we have some photos and details from the show soon!
MADONNA!!!

The Talk opened their show with 10 full minutes of Madonna discussion. Even Sharon Osborne gave it up to Madonna and her professionalism, though some slightly snarky comments came midway through when they began discussing Madonna's quotes regarding ageism from the forthcoming issue of Rolling Stone.

that face is GOD
And those asses are Ken.

Too many last minute guests, too many production tickets, industry people etc
I was here at 10am they must have had an idea I would get in. It's pretty shabby to be honest.
Very sorry, markm.

I agree. I think by then it was too late to signal for the dancers not to pull the cape and she probably thought (in those 1-2 seconds) that it may still come off.
My poor Nonni. I just want to give her a hug.
Yeah, I almost think she underestimated their strength and thought they may tug but that she'd stay in place and carry on figuring out a way to lose the cape later in the performance than intended.
Otherwise, with the risk involved with a fall like this she would have stopped and just said "don't pull" before their cue to avoid it altogether.
What happened happened, and she handled it like an athlete, a professional, an ICON.
-
Not jumping on the bandwagon, I really did sense something was 'off', too. I think it's more to do with us , as fans, being as anxious as she is before and during her performances. Like proud parents we want to see her do well and get through each moment perfectly.
There was something weird about the first lines of the song once she turned around with the cape on, and it caught me off guard because the entrance was beautifully executed and her live vocal at the beginning sounded so good. But you could tell that she was struggling while standing perfectly still and then the next thing you knew she just went flying backwards off of the steps.
So happy that common sense has colored most of the reporting on this matter and she really did "walk the walk" by immediately getting up and giving THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT.
-
I was so shocked & nervous, I actually wanted 2 get up & start smoking again.
I don't think the rest of the performance even registered with me, even though
(apparently) I kept telling my bf 'this is so much better than the Grammy's', while
watching with my hand over my mouth.
I had an outer body experience.
I pretty much did the same thing. I called my husband when it happened and blanked out most of the performance the first time through though I was apparently commenting on it.

Nancy Sinatra is everything. So great to read a comment from her.

How is the media treating all this?
Google is your friend, Django.
Brit Awards continued: The Queen is TRIUMPHANT giving the performance of her life!
