  1. [Destiny's Child]Question -[/Destiny's Child] Why are we even comparing her to Mariah? Mariah is a huge radio favourite in the USA. Madonna hasn't been for years. They're just not on the same level at all.

You stupid idiotic fags are ruining it all for us. "4 Minutes" is getting good US reception so far (mainly because of Timbaland and Timberlake) so it looks like for the time being her plan has worked. Let us enjoy it and not compare her to Mariah who is just way above and beyond her in that level.

    Fucking stupid idiot queens.

  2. It's not about 'liking' him or his music. If you have any claim to having an ounce of knowledge about pop culture and music in the past 10 years or so (which most people do if they frequent music forums) then you must have an idea who Jay-Z is. You're just a little dim, 'tis all.

  3. that rihanna songs is ok if you take out the precitable rap bit at the beginning. which one is it again? the one with the big teeth who goes out with beyonce?

i hear jason donovan's new song didn't enter the top 75.

    :manson:

Only an idiot like you wouldn't know Jay-Z.

  4. I want a FORGOTTEN GEMS tour next time.. she did the greatest-hits proper for Re-Invention, but she hinted at the old gems this time with "Lucky Star" and "You Thrill Me". She needs to take it one step further and do it properly..

I want a setlist that has stuff like "Till Death Do us Part", "I Want You", "Bad Girl" and "Sanctuary" on it please. :wow:

  5. Hmm...curious. Overall, I personally felt that there was a good deal more going on on the RIT stage than on the Confessions stage, regardless of the screens.

Au contraire! Confessions was such a multi-faceted event overall, it really was overwhelming at times - disco-ball, crucifix, scaffoldings, cage, abstract mechanical 'horse', etc. Overall the entire premise was far more elaborate than RIT, and the stage design itself was far more creative. And most of the time those stage props worked quite well with what was happening on-stage in terms of Madonna and the dancers.

Ultimately that's far more important to me than shooting a new video for a screen or some special effects or whatever.

  6. Personally I'm happy there was less emphasis on the screens this time - that, in fact, was one of my major gripes with the Reinvention Tour. It's fine and dandy that you have amazing screens but ultimately it's about what happens onstage and if you get caught up with that, well.. perhaps you should be watching DVD's instead of going to a show.

Confessions Tour placed far more importance to what was going on on-stage and that's why it was a much more superior show.
