The average MadonnaNation poster says hello to the world
-
What did I do? Too much? Oh well... shoot me LOL
No! I mean, you're just here doing your Madonna fan duty and posting news - which is great, we appreciate it; but you're in the middle of this circus called MadonnaNation and we're all either bitching, or talking about other shit or posting Prince clips
-
Poor Robster.
-
Oh, I thought that was her singing to herself!
No; it's from the POV of her father, he's singing it to Madonna.
-
Well, has Madonna ever sung from the POV of a man?
"Promise to Try."
-
ITS A SMASH WAITING TO HAPPEN. Let's get SOULJAH BOY to produce it, I hear he's SUPER HOT.
Not current enough. I think she should go for someone more cutting edge, someone hot and happening and kinda underground. Someone who defines the essence of now.
Maybe Missy Elliott?
-
Anna, who's been quite on target in the past... I'm only summarising the rumors, not confirmed facts. But I think this sounds logical taking all evidence into accounts
Well it does make sense.. maybe Lil' Wayne's camp is leaking this song now because they know a modified version of it will be released soon.
I wonder where he will figure in the writing credits.
-
Poor Keri. I wonder what it must feel like to taste Timbaland's cock cheese. Not fun.
-
Complete with her soulful crow vocals of course, as seen in "Heartbeat"
You have to hand it to Keri though. She's great at being mediocre.
-
So, let's recap:
* Madonna has recorded a new track "Revolver" ( with Frank E ? ).
* It's based on a Lil Wayne demo which clips of are circulating online right now, NOT featuring Madonna's vocals
* The final track will be a solo record, not featuring any other artists
* The track is intended to be released as part of the GH album, either an album track or a single

BEST HIP HOP FEMALE AT THE BET AWARDS NEXT YEAR: MADONNA VS. KERI HILSON YAY
Keri: I'm on my best behaviour
*spreads legs*
Madonna: I'll return the favour
*generic spread leg / yoga move / squat dance move / groundbreaking lesbian innuendo*
(Remix)

And don't forget "There was a time I had a mother/It was nice."
But she's singing that as her 5-year-old self (sort of kind of) so it's OK.

Plant & Krauss, Lil Wayne, Coldplay Win Big at 2009 Grammy Awards
The man with the most nominations, Lil Wayne, took home four awards, most notably (and predictably) Best Rap Album for Tha Carter III, but also Best Rap Song for “Lollipop,” Best Rap Solo Performance for “A Milli” and his verse on “Swagga Like Us” scored him Best Rap Performance By A Group.
ENOUGH SAID!
You can't be serious!

I love how Torn tries to make herself something more than what she actually is by putting herself on the same level as Madonna in the animal kingdom.
FAT CHANCE YOU OVER-EARNEST PRETENTIOUS WHORE.
-
interesting but hope its not for GH lead single. i mean, its her greatest hits and her lead single is gonna be with some shit head rapper???? new album, maybe but how can u celebrate your gh with some rapper helping u sell records. do what you do best girl and do your own shit

What is it you don't like about hip hop, Dickens? I mean, each to their own, certainly, but I don't get how people can dismiss an entire art form wholesale.
Are there any hip hop songs or artists you like?
Just curious.
It may be hard to fathom but in reality (as in beyond the realm of the 1% of the population that actually feel so passionately about music that they post on online forums), you'll find that most people do "dismiss" entire genres of music on a daily basis. Most people I know are like that. "I hate classical music"; "I don't really like pop music"; "I hate rap"; "I hate heavy metal" and so on and so forth. I don't see what's so surprising about that.
-
No, I think people just wanted it to sound less like "What comes around," "Rehab," and "Cry me a river."
Exactly. Strip away the generic Timbo/Timber shite and there is a beautiful Madonna song of that ballad-but-not-really variety just waiting to come out of that generic FutureSexShockGoneBad closet.

I thought the elephant in the room was the general close-mindedness of a largeish percentage of Madonna fans, myself.
Oh please. Just because I think he's a horrible musician and her hooking up with him reeks of desperation and cluelessness doesn't make me close-minded.
But it does make you a Contrary Mary and the rest of the boys who "support" this collaboration prissy apologists.
Oh and before any of followers do it -
Check this hand cause I'm marvellous. SNAP
-
Let's just identify the elephant in the room everyone.
Lil Wayne.
Lil WAYNE.
Ugh ugh ugh.
-
Don't worry, the M fans will delude themselves into loving it because it's Madonna even though it's a bloody stupid collaboration
I know, it's always so amusing how it unfolds.
*sits back and enjoys the apologists' circus*
-
Oh I do hope it was that bitter and twisted ugly fat richkid prat Lily Allen.
-
Its Oprah Winfrey dressed in House of Gaga.
LOLTASTICA (Remix)
GAGA! Such a sweetheart about Madonna

I love GaGa's album but I'm sorry, even at this stage of the game I'd say Madonna Madonna wipes the floor with GaGa The Fame
