  1. Yes, but equally awful is the deafening silence from the rest of the world when it comes

2 condemning the fascist Zionist state of Israel 4 its crimes against humanity & the Palestine people...

& how lame is the EU pumping sums of money in palestinian infrastructure only 2 have it blown 2 pieces

by the filthy zionist sons of whores & acting like it's okay by just sending a new check after they're done...

    A boycot is due..yesterday.

    I know, right

And what do we do? We allow them in Eurovision.

[Heidi Montag]I mean, is Israel like even in Europe?[/Heidi Montag]

  2. well that's just your opinion on israel. most people won't agree with that.

Actually, it's not just my opinion - it's also the opinion of millions of other people around the world (many of whom are Jewish) who do not support the horrific actions of the Israeli government.

In fact, most people I know here in the UK agree with me.

The American pro-Israel propaganda only represents a minority of the world's view.

  3. But what does a popstar have to do with all of that? Just because the government is fucked up, it means she should ignore her fans in those countries? Just because there's the conflict in Israel with Palestinians, she should ignore the thousands of fans who buy her records and want to see her live? Makes no sense to me.

    Some situations are extreme though.

Would you have been happy if Madonna performed in South Africa during the apartheid? No; we'd have all been outraged.

Her performing in Israel is the same. She should be ashamed of performing in that fascist state.

  4. To me the worst tour costume-wise has got to be RIT...only thing i liked was the opening costume, the rest is awful.

The only things i really didn't like in S&S are the 4 minutes trousers and that awful white hat!

I loved the RIT costumes. The LaCroix corset was absolutely stunning. The military outfit was good too - I liked that it was crisp and neat. I liked the flapper costume too.

OK, the kilts were generic and she did that much better and edgier for Drowned World anyway. And the worst was the Stella trouser suit thing with the hairnet but hey ho. 2.5 out of 5 ain't bad!

  5. True. Not an iconic outfit amongst them. The Vogue outfit is OK but that's just because it shows off her "She's 50?!" body. I think it's the American football on poppers outfit that I hate the most (along with the GITM market trousers).

    So true

And don't get me started on that "futuristic" shoulder-pad montrosity that is the "4 Minutes" costume. Honestly, what the hell is she thinking? Coupled with that awful fringe wing thing she looks like a lizard alien in drag. Just awful.

And yes, the "Vogue" outfit looks good but as you said it's not really the costume it's her moves and her body that sell it.

Oh well at least the costumes go along with the 'era' - after all, none of the videos, artwork or even the music itself produced anything remotely 'classic Madonna'.

  6. You know what, boys, this is funny.

As some of my fans and followers and stalkers might know I have always disliked this album - and by that I mean I've only played it a few thousand times. It's probably been my least favourite Madonna album.

But as I am now a gay of slightly more mature age, I'm beginning to click with the romantic melancholia that permeates this beautiful album. And it's sort of ironic how much more dignified she is on this album considering it is obviously the prequel to Hard Candy in retrospect, given that she was more or less a pariah when it was released and wasn't the "untouchable" legend that she is now (but seems intent on destroying.)

  7. As an album? It was a sloppy cash-grab. As a collection of songs? Pretty damned good, I'd say.

Although I'll never understand all the hatred for the album cover. Sure, the title was beyond lame, but the artwork was nicely done.

Nicely done? "Oh yeah, let's put bucketloads of stamp-sized pictures of Madonna, she's had so many looks. Oh yeah and let's have some 'ironic' write-up from some humourless Englishman friend of her husband's because, well, y'know, she's kinda English now."

It was lazy and, frankly, insulting to her legacy rather than "cool" (which it undoubtedly thought it was.)

  8. The only thing I know is that the GH is set to include the Oakenfold tracks only.

I am as-of-yet not aware of any re-recording of "Revolver".

    The track is done.

Any post-production changes do not involve Madonna.

Though it is true we may get an "album mix" and a "alternate remix" on the release.

The date of June 30th is, as of yet, un-changed.

    Oakenfold has remixed his tracks.

A single release will lead up to the GH release in early Fall.

The GH will span Madonna's entire career and is being designed and packaged with the FANS in mind.

And yes, the Oakenfold tracks are really fuckin' cool.

No other info is available at this time.

Please don't get your undies in a bunch.

No official confirmation has been given from Madonna's camp or the label.

So I don't understand all this panic.

Until a statement is issued, assume that nothing is confirmed, official or even planned.

    Decisions are still being taken.

Some of which will depend on how tour rehearsals go.

Expect bonus tracks and remixes on the first single off this GH package.

    thnx to Stereomover.

If this is the same Stereomover from a few years ago then this is fake.
