  1. OK...so here we go

My seat was fantastic, directly behind Rosie (and her new teeth :doofus: , which she told everybody) and as I later found out, next to Hector :). For the last 3 tours I've been able to see her up close w/in a few rows (this time without travelling out of state :) ) and I think her body looked the best this time. She was very energetic and I thought the crowd was great, not sure what everyone else is talking about. I thought the sound was pretty bad, though not her or the crew's fault. I think the venue just has bad acoustics. Overall it was a great show but I think I enjoyed Confessions more.

    The highlights:

Vogue - loved the 4 Minutes incorporation and the choreography was killer. Probably my favorite of the night.

La Isla Bonita/Lela Pala Tute - As much as I think she should put this one to rest for awhile, it worked so fucking well with the gypsies etc. and was one of the best performances.

Miles Away - Definitely a crowd pleaser, great performance.

You Must Love Me - The one slow spot in the show, great arrangement and vocal.

Give It 2 Me - Loved the video game theme, the rave lighting. Fantastic.

    She's Not Me - :wow:

Open Your Heart - though not a proper performance this is the one I've wanted her to do the most over the years, maybe the next tour??

And now for the less than stellar moments IMO. No performance was less than average, but I thought some of the arrangements were lacking. I'm not a fan of the ITG arrangement, the jump rope was great though. What was done Like A Prayer arrangement-wise is a sacrilege and Ray of Light was fun, but essentially the CT performance. Also I understand that it had to be done but 4 Minutes was not that great unless Justin decided to show up. Two of my favs off HC are Spanish Lesson and Heartbeat which I was expecting more from, but I need to see again to form a better opinion. I'm still looking forward to seeing her again next weekend though :D

  2. Ugh this whole stage setup is frustrating :zombie: Getting an accurate seating chart shouldn't be like pulling teeth.

What exactly is the big deal about getting a definitive answer? Knowing if there is/isn't a catwalk shouldn't be shrouded in such secrecy, its not like it's going to be giving away any detailed info about the setlist etc. which can be easily found online anyway.

  3. I think the headset might work ok for a performance or two, a la Vogue & NKM, but she should stick with the mic. For any of the elaborate choreography during CT she did the "microphone hand-off" which works, or she stuck it in her leotard for Erotica. I think it might be cool to see Vogue done without the headset for a change.

  4. i thought it was fine. Loved it in fact. Vouge always seemed more like a presentation than a song to sing. she didnt exactly knock it out of the park in the Girlie SHow either and i think the RIT version was way more fun to watch than the GS one. but that one was ok too.

I agree. I thought it was a great performance, lipped most likely, but whatever.

  5. I got section 38, but I'm 3rd row and on the aisle, so I figure that's pretty decent?

Like someone above me I imagine her being a tiny speck in the distance with my seats but I hope they're alright

Honestly with the way MSG is set up, Skin is right, there really are no bad seats. Eventhough section 38 isn't at the front, at least it's elevated so you're not looking over everyone's heads :)

  6. ^That's all I've been getting too

There's no way in hell I'd pay that much to be on the back of the floor, it's not like it's raised that much. I'd rather be in the loge.

BTW what kind of tix did you get (for those you you who bought)? Are any of them close to the stage?

  7. Ray of Light - I actually liked the CT version, but at this point it's overplayed

Don't Tell Me - performed on 2 tours with little variation, no point on doing it again

La Isla Bonita - even if this is similar to the Live 8 version (which I love), I think its time to give it a rest

Holiday - I'd rather her perform Everybody instead. Besides Music seems to be the new Holiday.

4 Minutes - This will be performed no doubt, I'd rather have a solo version than a 'virtual' Justin on the screens

Dance 2night - could be good in a live setting. I'm not really a fan of the album version though, it sounds like she's singing with a wool sweater over her mouth.

Voices - same as above, but I couldn't care either way.
