what do you mean, who she surrounding herself with? this is all Madonna... good or bad
I mean, surely someone close to her should be saying 'this arragment doesn't sound great or this might be a better idea.' I don't know.

I had such a strange negative feeling about this Eurovision thing from the start. For once, I wasn't even dramatic about it today but seems like now I should be?
I don't know. I do feel a huge sense of disappointment. Aside from the vocals, it was just flat and... shit, to be honest. I didn't really sleep either. The little I've read about the whole thing outside of this forum seems overwhelmingly negative, and I hate to bring that here, but I just don't know who she is surrounding herself with. People genuinely seem to be gleefully championing her demise and with that performance, how can we defend her? I didn't sleep either.

I didn't dare read my Facebook this morning, then I took a peek and everyone has ripped her to absolute shreds. Even people who I know like her. I can't even defend her. I don't have the energy. I'm staying away from social media for a week.

I haven't listened to any songs besides Medellín, and I only listened to Medellín a few times. I want to wait for the full album before listening to anymore songs.
Am I the only weird person doing this? lol
I tried to do this but I had Alexa play Medellin and straight after came I Rise and I'd heard it before I realised so o just listened to all the tracks so far.
You're in for a treat, by the look of it.
She's definitely created something special, here

A very solid album judging by the 4 tracks. They’re so unique and different from one another. The songs flow so well.
Starting to form a picture now, as a complete work.
I love them all - she's clearly just let herself really experiment with different sounds. Even her voice is different on each track, even using a slight accent. She really is a genius.
I'm so pumped for this album.

A single with an amazing video
Yes!
It SLAPS!
Living for the Way she says 'That's right!' As in 'That's right, your fucking wife!'

On first listen... What the FUCK is this shit? Onto my third listen and wanting it played at my funeral to give me my fucking life.
No one else in the same room as this woman. She really is head and shoulders above everyone else in the game 40 years into her career.

Just five hours to go in the UK
Yeah but unfortunately I won't get to hear it until after the school run at 9am so I can enjoy it peacefully lol. I'll go for a walk in the sun with the dog with this and Soltera on repeat. Hope they're as incredible as I expect them to be

Ray of Light would be amazing

Song is out, on the internet for half day.
Yeah I know. Just a wild stab at humour. Never mind.

How funny that some of us already live in the actual future and can hear this before others and Mother decided to bless us with this track about the future. Ironic Queen.

Does anyone know when about usually we get the reviews of the album from music publications that have been sent the album prior to its release? Isn’t it around a week before the album’s official release? I’m excited to read them.
They can start about 2 weeks before. The guy who interviewed her for Vogue had clearly heard the album so maybe there's been a press listening party already? I elukdbe thought we'd have heard something though

It's a really current track and her role is quite big. Sort of the perfect follow-up to Medellin, with a role reversal. M responds to Maluma's parts, with a fun back and forth. And those distorted reverted vocals throughout. I REALLY like it. This is actually more the sound I envisioned for M's album to some extent. Latin infused, modern, current poppy and catchy as fuck. Her vocal delivery is fun and fresh!
I have a feeling those type of M tracks are coming with her album. I feel like she's purging before the more experimental stuff comes

Does she do much in it? Can you compare to anything else?

I did not think that I would say this ... but it’s really unpleasant for me to listen to this song. She sounds annoying. I hope with live performance everything will be wrong
Just ban this

Don't you try to rescue me
I'm who I will always be
And I'd rather be alone
Then pretend to make your perfect home
I told you not to waste your time
I'm not a girl you drink like wine
If you press pause then I'll retreat
I will not grovel at your feet

1. Those two smileys are fucking vile and reeks of deep assholism there
2. Eurovision is about performing NEW songs for the most part
3. Nobody has heard "Future" in its entirety and of course you already called it "a mid tempo Raggae" in a very catty and cunty tone that is just so typical of bitchy gay men and bitter women who resent at almost everything in life
4. Again, Madonna has the worst fans among all the superstars and these fans will be the happiest people if she ever retires
Preach!
