    I know the listening parties are an old concept but they were always a brilliant way of introducing the press to Madonna’s new music. 

    Her previous releases on Interscope felt like they were sneaked out.

    One thing I do remember about the HC previews is that's how we learned that the Beat Goes On demo that did indeed also leak in advance, was nothing like the final version.

     

    God yeah we all hope for some kind of strategy for this album. 

    There probably wasn't much point holding a listening party for Rebel Heart given ever cunt and their nanna had already heard it 6 months before

    Yeah but that was 10 years ago for a label who gave a shit and wanted to plan a marketing strategy and also before someone leaked an entire album of hers months before it was even finished. Hopefully she's learned something from that at the very least

    I get it too. I thought we'd have an album by now but it won't be long. Just need to wait a while longer

    YES, back on May 15th she posted on instagram:

    'While I finish my record...'

     

    So she's either changed direction or the work she's doing now is final mixing/mastering.

     

    Or she's just a liar.

    I know nothing about such things, but would a vocal engineer be needed to put together a live performance?

    But the song alone without the video is erm... ok. It doesn't scream hit single though. 

    Yeah I thought Janet's video looked very similar to the style M is in at the moment.
