Radio 2 listeners buy albums. That's why play is important.

I went to my local HMV to pre order the exclusive. The guy at the till didn't know a thing about it. Found it on the computer, I asked about cover and track list - he said it didn't have that info only that there's bonus tracks. I had to pay in full now to collect on 14th June. He said 'I don't know why we would be doing a Madonna exclusive' and seemed genuinely baffled.
Oh and I only paid £10.99 which I thought was cheap for an exclusive

Click on the station, then click on playlist and search each station to see if they played Medellin this week. Capital played her once on 21st at 5pm, for example

For comparison - Bananrama are A listed and were played 12 times in thevsane period. Louise was played 7 times in the same period and she's on the R2 C list. She was played less than Madonna who isn't on their lists.

It's been played twice today and once yesterday on Radio 2. 8 plays since it came out last Wednesday. You can search on their playlist to see when it was played. No idea how to link on here though. They last played her 20 mins ago.

Don't shoot me, buttt I've not been bothered by her videos for years and years now. This new one though has definitely piqued my interest in her music video output again.

I'm not really sure what the fuck I'm going to end up with but I'm getting the HMV exclusive in the hope it has the blonde cover with 15 tracks and then, from Amazon UK I'm getting the standard monobrow with 12 tracks and then the guitar deluxe CD which I'm assuming has 18 tracks on (even though Amazon lists only 15 tracks)
Is this right?

Just enjoy the era. I don't know what people are expecting with the charts. It's a different time and she's not going to chart high again. Stop expecting it. Her albums will chart high and do well. If she gets a top 40 hit then that's just gravy.
