And yet another graduate of Missing the Point college!
I thought the point was pretty clear, by versions l mean the mastering quality not the song choice.
Fact is hardly anyone else has or will notice any errors if that is indeed what they are but many will jump on your bandwagon to trash Madonna. Who says the sounds you dont like were not intentional by the people involved.
From experience with anal sound and tech people it would not matter what was done, unless you had the master tapes and did it yourself it could always be done better. There is a little something called perspective but instead of being rational and pointing out a few very technical flaws the impression is the entire album is a mess when there is so much to appreciate.
I have a crap stereo and it sounds fantastic.

Way to go fans. Mabye the next analysis could be even more hateful in tone and call for her head. Really l think that's ok considering they did not put on the versions you would have. Great energy you put out there over a few beeps.

Just got my copy at JB in Melbourne, its a nice little package. They had a stand full of them but l still cannot believe the lack of any promotion. The artwork is great and does stand out in store.

Yes l can't wait to see the response in Oz. Madonna and Australia are not tracking well at the moment and not even a physical release for the single. The music press in Melbourne are ignoring her.

I said the random crowd around my PC, l would never eewww at Madonna but l dont agree that a crotch grab is M being sexual..its more attention grabbing direction than making a statement. LAV on the BAT was sexual with context...as was the sex book, erotica etc. This has no context. Not surprised around this forum to be told l should not be a fan!! Guess l should be gay too! I can appreciate that some fans still love it when M gets slutty.
Anyway it was a very random group who ended up around my PC, l thought it was a very insightful focus group....they all loved the song but turned off by the tacky crotch action, someone commented it was paying tribute to MJ... who knows. I certainly did go ewww or have to lol every time MJ did it, no context either.
Radio and advertisers do a lot of market research so l can image the main message they are getting.

Lola was great. But overall this vid is not gonna do the song any favours. The video shows are just dying to show a 51 yo playing with her crotch. I just watched this at work with a crowd gathering around my PC and the eeewww factor every time she went there was very real...did they learn nothing from HC cover art.
It a great song but Madonna can't sell sex forever, this should have been a happy dance vid...not a eewww clip

have you even heard what you call "pure Madonna"? It's not 90's euroclub dated shit... that's for sure! and I don't get this "pure Madonna" thing about this song.. because it's not.
Pure Madonna is brilliant memorable pop music or her bringing something not so commercial and making it commercial.. something fresh and new or big and memorable.. atleast not dated
Celebration is neither fresh or anything memorable really..

I dont mean the music, l am a fan of Madonna, dont care what style of music, l like most and dont tend to get hung up on defined catagories. I love that she can make a good song in any style. It's the voice, the message and the attitude that defines M FOR ME.

Geez if your not happy with Celebration as a Madonna fan then move on, its pure Madonna....that spoken word section and laugh is Madonna heaven.

Kabbalah has been good for her but its still got elements of religion and l hope she does not limit herself by that forever, the Israel worship bothers me, l dont claim to have much understading of the situation but from a distance it certainly appears the persecuted have become the persecutors which is a familiar cycle.
Happy to ignore this part of her life and crank up celebration real loud.

I am not sure anymore, she would sell but l think alot of people are over her. She has not had an strong artistic presence in Australia for a long time and radio do not play her much at all, it's only been a media profile and not a positive one (not even a tour broadcast on TV since DW..this used to create a real buzz but now they are not shown or only on pay TV where they are not even noticed).
All Madonna has to do is one interview per album/tour with ROVE live (a weekly entertainment show in Australia) and throw in a live performance and Australia is happy.
Its called bad management and doing things like they have always been done...morning TV interviews is all we got for CT and nothing for HC/S&S.....the gradma's watching dont care...an absolute waste of time and marketing.
I dont even bother defending Madonna anymore, the tide is well and truly anti (mostly based on disinformation but that's the reality). Its such a pity thinking back to the 80's and 90's when Madonna had such a loyal fan base in Australia but never got any radio play, everything still was a success and there was lots of support for her. Granted its a very small population and fan base but still a pity they squandered it.
Guess we will see with the GH.

Dont know why she needed to sledge Madonna but she does have a point about Michael being taken before the shows, while l have never been a big fan and his dancing never spoke to me (technically he can move well but what is he communicating???) l would have hated to see him humiliated further. This was a commercial venture, not an artistic one and clearly not meant to be. The universe is in order.

If i were to name the album i would have to go with something that incorporates "Queen Of Pop" since with Michael's death and her being heavily referenced. I think more people would be curious to buy Madonna's Greatest Hits. There are kids that aren't familiar with Madonna as they were with MJ. It could be a good business decision.
Madonna should never use Queen of Pop title officially, that title should be only be used to describe her by others or when poking fun at herself (like the 2 queens joke in rit doco). Michael believed his press in the 80's and that was part of his problems. When the ego is that big it can easily be manipulated by others and it cannot channel creative energy, demanding to be called a certain title at awards shows etc is just losing the plot. I prefer my megastar with a little humility.
