Shocked that Madonna fans would hate and attack a 16 year old girl and believe and promote a corporate media trying to protect their multi billion empire. I cant count the amount of times the media have tried to use the same false narrative on Madonna to undermine her achievements, message and deeds...the Malawi bashing for example.

Cant argue here, the hoodie part l can get past as its got multiple interpretations and hoodie is enough to invoke KKK imagery. The vocoder distorting the most meaningful lyrics of the song by trying to be shocking just alienates the listener. I am looking forward to a live version that can be understood.

Perfect set. I am so glad to see her reclaim AL now she know she wasn't lost. The smaller shows are going to be amazing. I hope they are not strict with video, l picture something she mixes up night to night. Can we just legislate to have her brilliance videotaped 24/7

Not saying in any way that I am disappointed in this result ... I am just trying to come to a point of peace in accepting this may have been the last of the visuals ... unless we do get the “batukadeiras by the ocean” video and Faz Gastoso is filmed. (However, the latter is still rumor and the former could very well be for tour backdrop visuals at this point — we really don’t know.)
We have been SO spoiled this era already. It is just going to be difficult to accept when the goodies stop being delivered, you know? Hope I am not sounding ungrateful — I am SO SO grateful. But it’s just my brain’s way of trying to prepare for famine as it appears the feast may be winding down. (Think of the opening of ToD when she is speaking about the end of the BAT. “I just hope I’m in a safe place when it happens.”)
Happy with anything, they have been shooting footage of everything for many years and it has always resulted in nothing at all. Surprised they saved this till now, it would have been perfect to release as part of the album launch for media to use to augment their mostly boring interviews.

That was really disappointing to see from Emma, she is lost in the cause now and cant see the bigger picture. I feel sorry for Madonna, someone on all sides always lining up to bash her one way or the other.

Wow nearly at 2m and getting lots of attention. Its a very well produced video, very impressive they spent a lot of time and attention to detail on it...many notable moments for one video

I love I Rise and I think it is a perfect album closer. You follow Madame X's journey across the album, showing us a world in disorder, both outside and inside ourselves, exploring introspective topics such as love, desire, loneliness, as well as society issues like gun control and political reform. But in the end with I Rise, we finish the record on a anthemic note, bringing together the personal and the political, and giving us at the same time a call to action and an ode to perseverance.
This is a perfect way to end the album, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I was waiting patiently but plans foiled for Australia. Local store has no copies of the deluxe edition, no poster, promo. Lucky they had the standard edition placed at the back of the normal display. The Bruce Springsteen album was all over the shop in stands and with his full back catalog!
Planned to listen to good quality on CD as l explored the 32 page booklet.
Anyone able to get the deluxe edition in Australia?

One day to go. I have respected Madonna this round and its been worth it, so excited. Glad l avoided this forum, a thread for each song and so much discussion and promotion of the leaks l didn't expect to find.

Cant stop watching this one, just amazing. I still think the vocal distortion in the crazy part is effective but too much, its not understandable and its the kind of song you want to understand the message. Other than that its just the Madonna l love

It works for many songs and l love it, especially a nice repetitive chorus. But l dont feel it works here despite what it may be intended to symbolize. Easily removed in edit, l love it otherwise but always hope for a wide audience for Madonna.

Love it, so close to something amazing but the distorted verse where you cant understand a word is stupid, ruins the flow and unfortunately is where the wider audience will switch off

Holding out until the official release tomorrow but your not making it easy. I am so happy with the 2 songs so far l can wait, she is killing it so far, l just wish more fans would give up the charting expectations for singles, its very unrealistic.

Agree its usually just good fun to bring people together which it does, Madonna would have got her muddled political message across much more effectively by sticking with the theme
