Trump's speech was arrogant, made the USA out to be a horrible place and offered no solutions. All bravado and hot air as per usual, Plus his choice of song for the first dance was so typical of him. I adore Frank Sinatra's version of My Way . However My Way is not a song for the leader of a country which is supposed to be all about serving the nation, not yourself. As much as I love My Way, it is an ego driven song. The version of it played was dreadful as well. All singing all over the melody and lifeless.
I had to stop watching their first dance tbh it gave me so much secondhand embarrassment. He was smart to have his family and Mike Pence join them as a distraction lol

Perhaps.
She doesn't care. Nobody cares. Madonna's back in the upper east side trying not to blink and move for her mannequin challenge. And Cher is scraping her crusty, mangled feet in Malibu.
Nobody cares.
Meanwhile Hillary's popular vote count is now over 2 million

I need Trump to start a twitter feud with Madge asap

My sister at one point in her life was hospitalized for many many months. She was always in and out of the hospital, but this time she was in there for like half a year. I was really young, like 10, so I don't really remember all the details, but what I do remember is that my mom had to divorce my dad so she could apply for Medi-Cal as a single unemployed mother and cover expenses because they couldn't afford it anymore. And I think that's illegal so we were all deathly afraid that the government was going to find out and arrest her for fraud or whatever.
The only good thing is that my sister was a patient her entire life at a non-profit hospital and they bent over backwards to help my parents navigate through that awful, stressful mess.
The system is literally broken and I can't believe in 2016 nearly half of our politicians still brainwash Americans into thinking that America is #1 and the greatest country in the world.
I'm so sorry your family had to go through this! I can't believe this is a reality for Americans. I don't know how people can afford to live there

My sister was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 5 and she passed away from the disease when she was 21. I can say that my dad spent EASILY over one million dollars over her lifetime on medical expenses, despite my sister having some sort of insurance. My mom divorced my dad so she could apply for Medi-Cal (California's medicare program) because my mom couldn't apply for my sister if she were married to my dad because he made too much money to qualify. The entire ordeal was a nightmare.
omg :/ I have no words
and I thought my cousin in Manhattan paying $250 for a doctor's visit was bad

oh no wonder why I can't go on Twitter. This is potentially scary

Thanks @Bitch!! Omg I loved typing that lol

omg I could only watch up to the abortion talk is there a link to the full debate somewhere??

Why do I feel like he's gonna pay a girl to falsely accuse him of s.e.x.ual assault, and after he threatens to sue she'll come out and say she lied and have everyone stop believing all the other women?

Michelle Obama really went in on her speech today

Hasn't Assange been caught putting out fake info?

Hey guys guess what the NYT obtained Trump's tax records from 1995 and it looks like he may not have paid his income taxes for 18 years
Also his case for the rape of a 13 year old aspiring model is scheduled for Oct 13

Poor Rosie
that was so entertaining! I can't wait for the next one

Wait so the French government will pepper spray and fine a woman covering up at a beach but fall over backwards to defend free speech [for white men]...aka purposely antagonising Muslims by drawing the prophet Muhammad is somehow freedom of expression instead of inciting a response?

Did anyone see the wrestling today when the Mongolian thought he'd got bronze and then, owing to a penalty I think, lost and the Ukranian got bronze. The coach was so angry he ran on and stripped to his underwear in protest and kept lying on the mat. It took them ages to finally make the Ukranian the winner!
But yes, poor Tom. He was first in the preliminary round and looked a surefire medal winner but lost it. I feel so sorry for him as he'll be absolutely devastated.
And Britain came second in the medal table which is unbelievable but typical British people are complaining here that it works out at about £3.5million per medal which could have been put to better use! We're never happy!
The protest was so weird I was dreading it when they were taking their pants off lol
If Tom's performance in the prelims was the same in the finals he would've gotten at least a silver :/ poor him but Chen Aisen and German Sanchez and David Boudia are all cute so whatever
and I thought China got the second most medals? I'm seeing that they got 70 with the UK getting 67?
Did anyone just hear Ryan Seacrest describe the atmosphere at the volleyball games like a gay club? Hahaha I'm guessing he had a fabulous time!
He should know
k I thought the closing ceremony was so boring? Even the last part with the carnival :/ I liked the lady singing in the rain in front of the flame though. And the Tokyo part slayed so hard I'm so excited for 2020

He couldn't stand the pressure, probably.
Yeah same thing happened in London
James Connor from Australia and David Boudia from America are cuter though. And the winner Chen Aisen. And our Canadian diver Vincent Riendeau

Simone running away from the bee was amazing!
I can't believe Tom Daley flopped that hard
-
I'm just sooo sick of them winning everything!! Except the gymnastics girls
Simone's about to do Dancing with the Stars apparently

Women's 4x100 relay. Well done USA. Great run! Well done Team GB for coming bronze. Gutted Jamaica never got gold but silver is great nonetheless
YASSSSSSSSSSSSS
TRIPLE! Yasssssss BOLT
His last Olympic race ever! YASSSSAA
I'm so happy for them. I wanted Jamaica to win the gold but the Americans were way ahead of everyone
also I'm glad the Americans got disqualified in the mens relay lol
-
wow Tom Daley really slayed today I hope he wins the gold tomorrow
-
omg I can't wait for the video lol. Poor Lochte. He didn't even win an individual medal this time around
In other news the president of the International Gymnastics Federation said that the Chinese and Japanese gymnasts are like robots, and that the Japanese are doing well cuz they've ditched their Eastern style choreography for westernized ones that have more harmony and creativity
also I've been wondering how North Korean athletes are allowed to compete? Why would they let their athletes see how (relatively) fab things are outside their homeland
-
I'm so happy my high school alumni Andre de Grasse got silver in the 200m today
Also Ryan Lochte is about to get locht up abroad lol

She's the team mama. If you follow her on social media you'll see how supportive she is. Total class act. She grew up in extreme poverty and is so humble now. AND Beijing Olympics she had HARD CANDY on her Olympic playlist. SLAYYY
omg wow I'm gonna start stanning for her and Elaine
That french athlete crying on the podium for getting booed was heartbreaking, indeed.
He had a cunty attitude but he didn't deserve it. Not after all the work he did to get there.
It was totally unnaceptable.
Are you talking about Renaud _________ the pole vaulter? He was complaining that it was some racial thing afterwards and compared it to Jesse Owens at the Berlin games. I think he was mostly just butthurt that the young cute Thiago Braz da Silva slayed him
The Iranian disqualification in weightlifting after he broke the world record, just be some obscure excuse by a Iraqi judge is one of the most embarrassing things ever. The man was so hurt and felt so impotent that he left crying.
wow I watched this live and had no idea? I feel like so many of Rio's scandals have gone under reported
In other news the decathlon athlete Kevin Mayer is so h*t?
