does M not have a stylist anymore? She keeps wearing this loose clothing and it fits her so terribly. I mean she can do whatever the fuck she wants- but I miss when she had real put together outfits.

She has a new stylist, I can't remember his name but I'm assuming he's around cuz Arianne is busier with films now and bcompleted has her own projects going on.  She probably has him around for events and stuff, while the 2 women will continue doing big stuff like album photoshoots and tours

  2. Flushed with happiness! Girl, three, gets the poop-themed birthday she's always dreamed of, complete with 'pin the poo on the toilet' and a 'pooñata' full of chocolate

    • Three-year-old Audrey told her mom for months that she wanted a 'poo party'
    • Her mother, Rebecca, eventually relented and made it happen - in style
    • The kids played toilet-themed games, including a poop-emoji pinata
    • They were also given whoopee cushions as party favors and slices of poop-cake
    • Rebecca hopes more parents will hold parties to entertain kids, not other adults

A little girl was left down in the dumps in the best possible way when her mom gave her the poo-themed party she had been asking for. 'For months, every time we mentioned her party, Audrey requested "poop balloons and a poop cake,"' her mother, Rebecca, told The Huffington Post on Monday.

'I tried suggesting other themes, but she always insisted on poop.'

All cisterns go! Visitors to the party got whoopee cushion favors (left) and played 'pin the poop on the toilet' (right)

Eventually Rebecca decided not to be a party pooper and put together toilet-themed games and snacks for the big day. There was a poop-emoji-shaped piñata - or 'pooñata' - full of Hershey's Kisses and Tootsie Rolls.

And for less active children there was a relaxing round of 'pin the poo on the toilet' - a scatological take on 'pin the tail on the donkey.'

For favors kids were given whoopee cushions, and had a poo-poo platter of themed cookies and cake to chow down on. Rebecca even wore a giant poop costume for the event.

Everyone in attendance loved the party, Rebecca said - even Audrey's grandparents, who 'just laughed' when she told them of her daughter's demands.

'Audrey is definitely her own person,' Rebecca said. 'I hope she always has the confidence she has now. She is so funny and the best big sister.'

Rebecca hopes that the pictures from the party - which was held in October - will start something of a movement.

'I feel like in this time of Facebook and Pinterest, we sometimes get caught up in trying to impress other adults,' she said.

'This party wasn’t for me, it was for Audrey. I love that we will look back at pictures, and it will represent her at three - my funny and quirky little girl.'

Bad taste? Visitors also enjoyed poop-shaped cookies and a multi-hued poop cake. Rebecca said the party was a huge hit and hoped it inspired parents to fulfill their kids' wishes

It is important to write an e-mail to the Canadian Prime Minister in order to put pressure and visibility on this situation in order to force the Canadian government to position itself publicly on the issue.

I invite the other members of the forum to do the same with your head of state so that the international community exerts a common pressure on Russia. Do it quickly because in the case of a genocide, every day that passes brings tragic consequences.

lol he'll make a statement then not do anything

I'm disgusted and horrified by this but I'm also disgusted and horrified at how little attention this seems to be getting.  A lot of the media haven't reported on this and a lot of people on social media seem to be questioning its validity as most of the info is coming from secondary sources

Chinese factory replaces 90% of human workers with robots. Production rises by 250%, defects drop by 80%

After a factory in Dongguan, China, replaced most of its workers with robots, it witnessed a spectacular rise in productivity.1024px-Industriemuseum_Chemnitz_-_modernImage not from said factory. Image credits: Industriemuseum Chemnitz.

While some of the world’s leaders are obsessed with keeping people out of their country, an unspoken entity is slowly but certainly taking our jobs: robots. It’s been long discussed that robots and computers will start taking our jobs “in the near future” — well that near future is upon us and we’re not really prepared to deal with it. Of course, some jobs are more at risk than others, are few are as threatened as factory jobs.

According to Monetary Watch, the Changying Precision Technology Company focuses on the production of mobile phones and uses automated production lines. The factory used to be run by 650 employees, but now just 60 people get the entire job done, while robots take care of the rest. Luo Weiqiang, the general manager, says the number of required employees will drop to 20 at one point. Despite this reduction in staff, not only is the factory producing more equipment (a 250% increase), but it’s also ensuring better quality.

Without a doubt, this is something we’ll be hearing more and more of in the future. Adidas is one of the companies which has already announced a shift towards robot-only factories, and it’s not just factories that will eliminate workers for robots. According to a report created by Dr Carl Benedikt Frey and Associate Professor Michael Osborne from the University of Oxford, there’s an over 90% chance that robots will take over the jobs of (long list ahead): masons, budget analysts, tax examiners and collectors, butchers and meat cutters, retail salespersons, geological and petroleum technicians, hand sewers, abstract searchers, watch repairers, new account clerks, tax preparers, order clerks, loan officers, legal secretaries, radio operators, tellers, hotel and restaurant hostesses, cashiers, real estate brokers, polishing workers, dental technicians, pesticide sprayers, telephone operators, cooks (not chefs), rock splitters, gaming dealers, and many, many more. Yeah, that’s a long list, and it goes on for much longer. Whether we admit it or not, we’re stepping well into the bounds of “robots taking over our jobs” and I’m not sure any economy is able to handle this at the moment.

  5. I'm shocked and ashamed and scared tbh.  This is (only?) our 13th mass shooting since 1984 and only 1 other was classified as a hate crime.  A lot of us Canadians gloat about how much better we are than America but we really aren't, especially with a lot of Trump esque politicians gaining ground in the past few months here.  We have a ton of Muslim communities and mosques here and I'm very worried that the hate for Trudeau's social progress will give rise to the far right

One of my friends is Muslim and she moved here from America post-9/11 because of the hate her family was getting and it upsets me that they aren't even safe here

My only fear at this stage is a terror attack on US soil. Praying it won't happen. If it happens of course ISIS will claim it as its own when in all possibility it might as well be an inside job. But regardless that would give Trump the satisfaction to say he's been acting on behalf of the American people. Honestly America is becoming the worst country in the world. Land Of The Free?

I think it's inevitable tbh and I'm sure Trump is looking for an excuse to use the nukes.  He's been going on about them for ages

House GOP quietly closes investigation into Flint water crisis

    BY!MATTHEW DALY, ASSOCIATED PRESS!!December 16, 2016 at 2:34 PM EST

WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans quietly closed a year-long investigation into Flint, Michigan’s crisis over lead in its drinking water, faulting both state officials and the Environmental Protection Agency for contamination that has affected nearly 100,000 residents.

In letters to fellow Republicans, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee said Friday that Michigan and federal officials were slow in detecting high levels of lead in the water and did not act fast enough once the problem was discovered.

The committee findings offer no new information and essentially summarize what emerged during several high-profile hearings earlier this year.

“The committee found significant problems at Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality and unacceptable delays in the Environmental Protection Agency’s response to the crisis,” wrote Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah. “The committee also found that the federal regulatory framework is so outdated that it sets up states to fail.”

Flint’s drinking water became tainted when the city switched from the Detroit water system and began drawing from the Flint River in April 2014 to save money. The impoverished city was under state control at the time.

Regulators failed to ensure the water was treated properly and lead from aging pipes leached into the water supply.

Chaffetz cites “a series of failures at all levels of government” that “caused and then exacerbated the water crisis.”

While the Republican chairman signaled the apparent conclusion of the inquiry — Congress ended its session last week for a three-week holiday break — the panel’s senior Democrat insisted the investigation continues and accused Michigan’s Republican governor of stonewalling the committee over documents related to the Flint water crisis.

Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, senior Democrat on the oversight panel, said he wants Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder to produce key Flint-related documents within 30 days. Cummings said Snyder and his administration have obstructed the committee’s investigation into the Flint crisis for a year, refusing to provide — or even search for — key documents.

Snyder’s intransigence has thwarted committee efforts to answer critical questions about what he knew as the crisis unfolded and why he didn’t act sooner to fix Flint’s water problem, Cummings said.

“Requiring Governor Snyder to finally comply with the committee’s request will allow us to complete our investigation and offer concrete findings and recommendations to help prevent a catastrophe like this from happening again,” Cummings wrote to Chaffetz. “In contrast, allowing Governor Snyder to flout the committee’s authority will deny the people of Flint the answers they deserve.”

It’s highly unlikely Republicans who control Congress will continue the inquiry next year.

A spokeswoman for Snyder said the governor’s office has provided the committee with hundreds of thousands of pages of documents and the committee has wrapped up its investigation.

“In Michigan, we are working hard each day to continue Flint’s full recovery with funding for pipe replacement and health care for residents,” spokeswoman Anna Heaton said, adding that it is “not productive to spend time engaging in partisan political attacks from out-of-state politicians” such as Cummings.

After nearly a year of haggling, Congress cleared legislation last week to provide $170 million to deal with the Flint crisis and help other communities with lead-tainted water.

In his letters, Chaffetz asked GOP lawmakers to consider redirecting hundreds of millions of dollars now targeted to fighting climate change to upgrade the nation’s drinking water pipes and other infrastructure. Chaffetz also asked for closer congressional oversight of the EPA, which monitors lead and copper pipes nationwide.

People need to wake up and smell the roses.  In ONE week, Trump is passing all of these disgusting racist, sexist and extreme right wing decisions.  He is banning talk on climate change,  stopping funding for abortion, halting universal health care and basically doing what he likes.  Treating other countries like playthings and building a wall between the USA and Mexico.  This is the new USA and unless people realize that and how dangerous and unstable Trump is,  they are going to be in for a shock every week.   Trump is behaving even worse than I imagined ( and that says a lot ) and all of his garbage about being anti establishment and caring for the working class has been shown up for the crap it is completely.

and there are still people who want to give him a chance and argue that Hillary would've done the same!! smh

His voters will be in for a big shock when he does exactly what he promised to do and take away their health care

Intelligent, talented and smart women marching.  Wonderful to see so many men as well supporting the women in their life and also speaking out against Trump.   People who oppose his ideology, policies and blatant sexism and racism all using their voices to demonstrate people power.

Yes! I saw many men at my march and a lot of them weren't even accompanying a woman.  There were lots of little boys with their moms in pink pussy hats as well

    and I love Barbra's speech
