I didn't mind most of the Confessions effects - I just didn't like when she/the dancers were multiplied and mirrored during Get Together, and too much of Let it Will Be had that cutout filter. I don't really mind the MDNA editing either (apart from not showing the screens during the GGW dance breakdown and full shots during Gang Bang that showed the blood splattering), but Sticky and Sweet is the most flawlessly edited one imo

How weird! I've just put this on for the first time in ages. As a relatively new stan in 2001 I thought it was great - I already had STR so I didn't mind not having I'll Remember, Playground etc., and I loved the artwork. I didn't even mind when live versions of Holiday and Music were rumoured to be bonus tracks lol

It was a great show, except for getting told by Hydro staff to sit down whilst dancing to Material Girl as its "a seated event". Me and the boyfriend where up the rest of the concert regardless. Fuck him!!!!

I didn't see and won't see their other choices, but it's appropriate, isn't it? "Rebel Heart" is a terrific album and I'm sure time will bring justice to it.
That's very true. I think we, and the general public, will look back on this era as an important one in her career, with one of her most wonderful albums and tours.

And never forget. If we believe gossip and tales... Madonna didn't have to fuck for tracks like others do. She choose the dj or producer, fuck him and used him. Instead of being the girl being abused, she controlled that situation.
I was thinking about this today, because that blind item about Ellie Goulding having to postpone the album because couldn't find a producer who didn't want to fuck her brains in exchange of producing really disturbed me. I surely live in lala land, but i didn't know that was happening.
Then i remembered all the legends and stories about Madonna fucking this DJ and all that. And smiled because she decided who and when, instead of being a corporate whore.
