  1. So this is finally over. Was probably the worst Madonna rumor ever, for 4 months it just couldn't die. And this should be the final proof that Madonnadownload-lighthousemike is not a "source" and he can't be trusted (he started this shit in August).

Well, to be fair, the rumor was based on what Danni Minogue stated in August in exciting to see Madonna on X-Factor this season. So it's possible they were hoping she would appear, but it never panned out.

I knew she wouldn't appear. Even if it was kept secret, I think the key would be knowing she was in England. I don't recall her leaving the states to have time to rehearse and appear on this show.

  2. I crack up when people think because she came out great in Evita, she would follow up a non-musical with a stellar performance when she never did so before. Certainly, there are a couple films which she did some decent acting such as Dangerous Game, but that film just sucked. The best parts of her acting was the film they were making within the movie. In any event, Evita was right up her alley. She could hardly screw up a two hour music video since she's perfected that. Though, I will admit she emitted much realistic emotion that I've never seen in any other film she did, but again, I've seen her do it in videos as well. It just has something to do with her speaking voice and how when she does speaking roles, she doesn't sound as confident. And when she does, it's almost too confident which results in sounding too fake or unrealistic.

The Next Best Thing is a decent film. Definitely something I can see made for LIFETIME. I'm not going to say her acting was the great, but I enjoyed the film nevertheless. I agree that lighting was bad. Not sure what the hell that was about??

I do have to agree with Zezwer. I wasn't really impressed with that film. She didn't seem to be in it that much and she was, she was simply playing up to the musical persona she created. I'm not even sure she even had to act for that. She just came in and delivered lines as her self. I think the reason why she is praised so much is because it was her first major film which broke out when she was on top of the world. We really didn't have much to compare her to until she started making more films.

My favorite character is the over the top Niki Finn. I will admit "Who's That Girl" is pretty much a dumb movie, but I loved Madonna's character. Or I loved the random multi-personalities she came up with.

  3. Whether the source is bullshitting or not, I do hope her album is more rock oriented. It's something she hasn't really put a lot of emphasis on within her albums. Her tours have seen more rock, but it's not the same to re-work an old song, rather create something original. I know some hated the rock version of HUNG UP, but it doesn't mean a rock album will sound like that mix. I suspect creating something original that we haven't heard in a rock vibe would be much different than turning one of her old songs into a rock song.

I actually think the whole rock vibe suits her. I loved when she rocked out on songs like "Ray of Light", "Borderline", "American Life", "Burning Up" and "Material Girl" on tour.

Whatever she does, it really needs to be different enough to make an impact and stand out.

  4. they're using 4 Minutes for the teaser? A lot of promo for Celebration that's gonna make... :americanlife:

"4 Minutes" was the last huge memorable hit people would associate it with. Certainly, they could used some of her other big hits, but I don't think they are playing any favorites when using music to promote all this.

I wish Madonna would do some more promotion in the states for the Holidays. This is a great time to push the hits compilation.

  5. believe me when I say that this is the type of poster that gets really popular around here

Unfortunately, you're right. My day job requires and pays me to tolerate juvenile behavior. I certainly am not coming to a forum on my free time to read this crap.

  6. UM THIS ICON SHYT JUST NEED TO GO I SWEAR.IM TIRED OF THEM SENDIN ALL THIS OUR WAY WHEN IT NO LONGER MATTER CUZ MA GURL ALREADY DONE IT ALL AND ITS OLD.FUCKIN FANS JUST NEED TO PULL A PETA ON THESE FAN CLUB LAME AZZ FKS AND DEMAND THEY RELEASE THIS CRAP ON TIME OR ELSE WE JUST GUNNA BURN THEIR SHITTY MAGAZINE,OH WAIT THATS RIGHT THOSE LOSERS DUN KNOW HOW TO LICK AN ENVELOPE AND MAIL EM ANYMORE CUZ THEY TOO BUSY LICKIN EACH OTHERS RECTUM 4 HAVING SO-CALLED 'CLOSE' CONNECTION TO OUR MAIN BYTCH.

C'mon MadonnaNation mods and admin. Is the type of posts this community comes down to? Is this the type of member we want posting here, writing vulgar and insulting comments like this? This post is sooo unnecessary and I have to wonder if this isn't some alias of a banned or current member.

  7. let's hope they release it in January, any longer and it's going the way of RIT.

I don't see what the delay and hold-up is... this was filmed over a year ago and they got Beyonce and Killers concert releases out so fast.

I have to agree. It's not like they are adding any new footage (unless Guy wasn't truthful or what not). Even still, there's been enough time to put it together and have it out for the Holiday season. And why not take advantage of bigger sales that way? Makes no sense to wait until next year unless it's just a matter of gaining some chart success in the new year. But these releases don't sell as much as the studio albums.

  8. Here's the first look at the cover of the second single from Madonna's "Celebration" album.

As you can see the artwork for "Madonna vs. David Guetta - Revolver (One Love Remix)" is yet another variation of the iconic portrait assembled by Mr Brainwash from images by Mondino and Tolot.

    @Tribe

Not fond of the remix, but that's an awesome cover. And I really didn't expect anything different since we've been told long advance there wasn't going to be anything new with photos with this project.

Anyway, I really think the rap should stay in the mix, but I suspect in Europe it will do fine. But this mix will not fly in the states. And oddly, I agree the rap makes the song complete.

  9. 99% bitching. 1% appreciation. Hmmm? Which way should I go? Hmmmm? I'll be different and "appreciate".

Whatever she does, I wish her luck in producing something cool. It may not end up being my cup of tea and it won't be the first time it wasn't, but hell if I am going to spend my free time bitching about things I don't like when there is SOOOOOO much more I do like about her.

  10. David Guetta remix, posted by Londonfan30 at Fanzine.

According to Warner NL, this is the radio version and was sent to radio in Netherlands today.

Lil Wayne is not in it.

It's okay, but it seems to be missing an element to the song without Lil Wayne. The song seems too rushed without it. And if they are trying to get this played on U.S. radio, they should stick with the LIL WAYNE version because he will be more bankable in making it a hit than this version without him. Also, the album version is more suitable for the U.S.

  11. I don't get this bitch. First "Music" is where she should've stopped - but it's a good album but she doesn't like it? Confused much? Oh, and if you have a great body, it's not really appealling and you should retire.

I think this bitch is on something.

LOL! I was reading and thinking.... "WTF??" She went on about how she was great in the 80's and then went on to say she should have stopped with RAY OF LIGHT and then said it wasn't a good album and then said she should have stopped with MUSIC but kinda liked the album, but it wasn't very good.

Who is she? Never heard of her. Should I care? Nope!!

  12. but don't you know, that's the only way grandnational gets any attention. Insults along with laughing smilies.

A pathetic twat. :lmao: SEE! Anyone can do it!

Ahh, is that who he is? Grandnational?? I thought he seemed familiar. What did his last username get banned? Pathetic in deed. To just hang around to bash people... must have a very pathetic life off line to spend all his time here bashing people. :lmao:

  13. you're the most boring person I have ever encountered :lmao:

Actually... no... you are. In fact, you're just a fuckin' troll here. You spend 99% of your time here bagging on everyone... even Madonna. It's one thing to be sarcastic, sharing a difference of opinion, and having a little fun, but every post and I mean every post I come across by you lately is full of negativity and insults. I am sure you'll say you care less what I think or anyone else thinks, but I highly doubt that. I'm sure you enjoy any attention aimed at you. Don't waste your time responding back to me. I won't read it. I've put you on ignore from this point on. There is no reason to continue speaking with someone who is purposely just being nasty on the internet for the sake of contest of words or because he enjoys hurling insults at people to pass time. How sad!

Anyway, Kudos to Loren for her kind words about Madonna.

  14. I keep reading issues with the idea she no longer has interest in making videos or creative videos. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal. I think she knows that videos aren't a huge deal as when she first started. It's true. She really doesn't have a popular outlet anymore that will feature her videos. MTV and VH1 won't play them. And I know there is the internet, but these days why spend money on the production on a video when she can take that money and put it into a great tour and create great backdrops and videos for that. My only wish with that is that we'd get those videos as well. But I honestly do not think some people are being fair here because I don't see the point of putting much effort in what I see is a dying art... which is videos.

As for the DVD. I have no complaints. It's more than I ever expected after all these years thinking some of these videos were never going to get a proper DVD release. We have the majority of her videos in one swoop. And as HG pointed out, the videos that we didn't get are available on DVD on other projects of hers.

  15. Some fans will never be happy. I think she's made some cool videos lately. Sure, they aren't up to par with Like A Prayer, Bad Girl, etc., but hey, times are different. Music videos aren't a big deal anymore like they used to be. It cost money to put them together and if you're an artist who isn't getting much attention on radio or MTV (video or not), why waist time and money on a video that isn't going to get played in a major medium?

  16. No Just Hand Sanitizer!

Madonna makes a clean getaway waving her hand gel as she leaves Malawian orphanage

    r401836453.jpg?x=400&y=271&q=85&sig=TeisCzXbns9C4rYvk8d6LQ--

Madonna waves her hand gel as she leaves the Home Of Hope Orphanage where she previously adopted David Banda

Could the Queen Of Pop have got her her hands dirty while cleaning her mud covered heels from the previous day?

Or maybe she's developed an unhealthy obsession with hygiene?

Whatever the reason, Madonna was snapped waving hand sanitiser out of her car window as she left the Malawian orphanage where her son David was adopted from.

The unusual gesture came at the end of her visit to the Home Of Hope Orphanage, where she was accompanied by adopted children David Banda and Mercy and daughter Lourdes.

Madonna is in the country to launch the construction of her school for girls.

Leave it to Daily Mail to turn this into something negative. If that's really hand sanitizer, I don't see how that needs to be a story? I'm constantly using that stuff in front of people, but does that mean I am trying to diss people? No... it just means, I care about not getting other people's germs, etc. And yes, I am sure the germs are running far more where she stopped for her visit.
