  1. is she unable to sing it live or something???

    dont understand this girl

    anyway, enough complaining from me

cant wait to see this performance

well she never did so i guess she just cant :|

id rather have a killer routine for it than watch Madonna stands there ruinning this classic with her current vocals :manson:

  2. i was just wondering

do you think she will attempt to sing it LIVE for the first time? :nosey:

if she lips it again id rather see her lip the album version... that RIT prerecorded didnt do the song justice

and about the routine.. can she top what she already did? for RIT Vogue was a tribute to her VMA performance... now this time she more likely will come with something completely new

i hope she has a headset on :D

  3. You know, we have other options. I mean, you don't have to go. It's not mandatory. If you hate these songs so much and are tired of the way she performs them, you don't have to go. She didn't ask you to spend your hard earned money on the show. That was your choice. Luckily, there is StubHub for you to sell your ticket and get your money (and then some) back. See, she even offered you an alternative.

I know I am being sarcastic but I mean it. I just joined the forum a couple of months ago and I have been a fan since 1984. I have avoided the forums for this reason. People can be so ugly and hateful. I am not going to sit here and defend her actions (StubHub, song choices, ticket prices, etc). It's not about that. It's about being a fan. If you are no longer happy with her choices, don't be a fan. Sell your ticket and say goodbye. Don't passive agressively bash her in a forum and then end up going to the show and loving it.

I know, I know...but what is a forum for? Sure, have discussions but the amount of negativity is unreal. I didn't know that "these" were Madonna fans. I was hoping to meet a few good ones. I won't try to tell you how to conduct yourself in these forums, it's not my place and it is completely your choice. It just makes me sad - back in the day, being a fan meant excitement and fun. Where did it all go?

    :dramatic:

enough with the drama just have fun. i mean seriosly we're not discussing this endless shit about being a proper fan

all this mess for the tour is hilarious i cant help it. im sure she will do an amazing show (look she is doing Vogue! yeeeay :D )

  4. oh i almost forgot she hired StubHub to properly rape her fans and the name of the tour is Stick and Sweet!!! wow how great is that :doofus:

i loved the Hannah Montana idea! this era is all about renew her fan base so why not keep up with the kids ??? the Hannah Montana fans are the same kids whom few years ago were amazed by the English Roses book :nosey:

  5. she has asked Britney and Justin to reunite on stage  , Britney filmed video for the soooo fan requested smash hit Human Nature :nosey: , Jamie Queen is back as usual  , as for the Hypnosis and other CT dancers :| , Donna Delory is out :gross: , a recycled Live Earth version of La Isla Bonita :manson: , a whole recycled guitar section including Hung Up amazing rock version :demonic: , recycled Music and ROL back on tour  , do im forgetting something??

so, what do you think she can do to mess her tour even more?? :electropop:

i loved the idea of her being mummified on stage! :dramatic:

    discuss.

  6. Popbitch

And filming is complete on the Britney sections of the Madonna Tour videos....

1 video is her in a hoodie trapped in a lift, cracking up and going mental. This leads to the final line "Its britney bitch" which then kick starts a mash up of "The Beat Goes on" and "Piece of me". The video for this, is Madge and Britters mummified and men in nothing but leather thongs unwrap them, to reveal them both in not very much touching and rubbing.

Later appar, there will be a Britney vocal / video element to "Human Nature"

    IN OTHER TOUR NEWS.

Spanish lesson and Buenos Aires have been dropped from the setlist.

She's now rehearsing "Angel" as part of the tour.

    "Incredible" has also been dropped.

other snippets include a "Dance tonight / Borderline" Medley

A "open your heart / heartbeat" medley

    and POSSIBLY! "Dress You Up"

The rumours of a holographic 3D Madonna are still persisiting. And it alllll kicks off in approx 7 weeks....

    thank God some good news

afterall drownedmadonna wasnt totally mistaken.. well i hope

    is Popbitch reliable?

THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR A BETTER SETLIST

  7. I think that "Hard Candy" has left a lot of us with a bad taste in our mouths (no pun intended) and, had the album been different (or the whole era/image/presentation for the matter), there would be more excitement. Instead, it's almost a sense of dread... and a feeling that she's going to keep repeating herself. We've all come to expect so much out of a Madonna concert because she has set the standard so high, that it is very disappointing to see such a bland setlist and you just have to wonder what she's going to do with it. In recent years, it seems that she has been relying more and more on the people around her to do the work and keep her popular, rather than her being innovating, interesting and captivating. It's like, without them, she's got nothing left to give us. Her interviews are boring. Her performances, a little uninspired. You can't just stand on stage and say "fuck" a lot and think that's all you need to do to entertain a crowd. Grow up, granny... it doesn't look good. She seems disinterested in everything. I think she's realized how much help she can get from others and she seems to use it to her fullest advantage now. It's almost as if she's just sitting back, letting her "people" keep her career going.

She used to be the definition of a megastar... Untouchable and even mysterious. That magic just doesn't really seem to be there anymore. I don't look at her and get that "Oh my God, what a fucking ICON!" feeling anymore. It's sad...

Please don't attack me for my opinion... that's all it is, my opinion. I'm still a fan, just hitting a bump in the road.

    i agree with you

its hard for most of her fans understand this but its true

  8. i dont understand madonna's obsession with britney. after american life disaster she really needed attention and working with britney helped her at that time. but now she doesnt really need britney's spotlight. i'd rather to see madonna working with real musicians like lenny kravitz or prince on stage.

now she NEEDS attention more then ever

the whole HC era was planed for this. it failed miserably

    GET REAL

  9. The scene-by-scene breakdown goes like this: Britney, partially disguised by a gray hoodie, walks into the elevator. As she starts traveling upward, she seems particularly nervous and anxious. The popster starts pacing back and forth. Then she progresses to kicking and smacking the walls, all frantic-like. She screams into one of the cameras. Then she starts climbing the wall, pulls down her hood and, into another camera, says:"It's Britney, bitch."

    :gross:

  10. Guess you didn't see the pictures from the Hard Candy Insert

    ---

I am sure this video will be great though

the outtake pics were beyond GREAT. the problem was the flop artwork really a MESS

as Britney Spears is concerned, even if i hate this awful idea, im amazed that Madonna tries really hard to absorve all the fans left of that trainwreck... the HC album and tour is a clearly desperate attempt to renew her fanbase

  11. may we should take the consideration that songs like LIB, Music and ROL are easier for her to sing.. she already mastered (kinda :nosey: ) how to do this live and she knows that her voice is getting worse and its harder to sing songs like Borderline especially if she wants to dance along with it

  12. ha ha ha...you people are comical! You all act like this setlist is a big suprise. I told you all the setlist would be like her latest tours...mostly predictable and a heavy focus on newer material. Whether we like it or not Madonna has a BIG DISDAIN for her early material, whether she admits it or not. She'll never do a concert chock full of her great oldies...it's never gonna happen. She always throws one little bone to her fans for each concert...and this time it's "Borderline" and the rest is songs from her new album and the newer predictable hits she's been performing for a while now (LAB, ROL, Music, HU). I guarentee Jamie King had to do some pretty mighty talking just to get her to perform "Borderline". She has never cared what fans want or think, that's just the way it is. I would like a lot of her older material performed to but it's never gonna happen.

she is a MAJOR BITCH :americanlife:
