Im sorry but the ORIGINAL concept was MUCH MUCH MUCH better and now all I can think is it's just a remix like what Vission did to What It Feels Like For A Girl. They took a beautiful, deep, musically sonic song with a "soundtrack from the 80's masterpeice" (which is the BEST thing about it, like Simple MInds' Dont You Forget About Me) and made it sound like a "groovy chill song" that looses itself because it works as the soundtrack to the background music of a pool party. No one would pay much attention if this was played but the original concept was amazing! Now that the LP is released, I think I can say that. Ive bitten my tongue and just listened to what others had to say on all topics, but this is the one Im most passionate about! It's one of the best songs Ive heard in YEARS BY ANYONE besides Ghosttown! But at least I have it. That should matter enough but it could have been an amazing single and now it's just a minor song on the deluxe version....sad.
Also, Im not starting an argument with those who disagree. To those people, just be happy the version you like made it and let me feel the way I feel because in the end, the public get's your version officially, as do you.
Oh shit..I came in here ready to post pretty much everything you just said! I immediately fell in love with the demo. And when I heard it was gonna be included on the album I was so fucking happy. Then I heard what happened to it..ugh.this stupid slow groove strips the song totally away. It loses all the emotion and feeling it had. I love the lyrics for sure, but really this is horrible.

I'm seriously more excited about this interview than I am with the tour. Howard talked about it today..how he's excited and he hopes she is. He mentioned that she has such an extensive career, he could have her on a whole 4 hours and still have shit to talk about. Even Robin was kissing her ass..

I saw her there with drowned world and reinvention. I don't know why it's my go to place when she doesn't come here to Texas. Maybe it's because I lived there a few years when I was younger.
I don't even gamble..but I'm excited to stay at the cosmopolitan.

of course if she makes an appearance there it will generate some publicity but i doubt it will be a "huge deal." you give too much credit to Stern. It may satisfy your needs to hear Stern asking about raw (low?) details of her life, the more important question would be: Does she really need to do this? The point of her going to talk shows is to sell and promote her album. Her appearance in Stern will not gonna promote her album. You can imagine the headlines like "Madonna tells Stern she loves doggie style!" It's just gonna be a pointless promo that would not the public to pay attention to her music. I would be perfectly happy to see her going to Jimmy Fallon and Ellen and may be even perform a song.
You're obviously a new fan. At this point in her career she can do no wrong. It's not about promotion anymore OK? It's about reflecting and moving forward.
And I believe her going on Howard would be a defining moment. That's all

Howard Stern is a very good interviewer.
And I think she would reach out to a whole new group of people by doing an interview with him.
It would also generate a lot of press...

the thing is that she is not gonna gain new fans from Howard Stern show...his fans are traditionally older and more rock oriented population. Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper went there and made barely any impact on their respective album sales. She should stick to more mainstream and gay friendly shows and gain younger fans or win back her former/casual fans. Remember she used to pull huge album sales. we need back those people who used to buy her albums. my friends love Madonna but they dont think her newer stuff are as good as older songs. the last albums they probablly bought are Confessions or Music.

Anyway many of you are missing the point. If she went on his show it would be a huge deal, and it would be intense as hell.
He's a fantastic interviewer and it would go down as one of her best. Mark my words

So I know she doesn't care for him and what not. I just really want her to go on his show and do like a 2 hour interview starting from the beginning of her career.
He just has a way with celebs, and I know it would be amazing. Even though he's talked shit in the past, he's always respected her. He was one of the only media outlets that actually defended her with the Malawi adoption thing.
Christopher was on his show when he was releasing that book too. It was mentioned that Rosie might have been a wrench in why she never went on. And now him and Rosie are cool.
Anyway I just think it would be awesome. If she can chat with some bottoms on Grindr..then why not him?

It changes for me. I don't get shit faced drunk anymore, but when I'm feeling toasty and have some herb I blast Forbidden Love confessions version.
I also always look up random interviews while having a few. I recommend doing that..

M is such an amazing visual artist, & she needs to film more videos for her non-single album cuts.
This is exactly why I want her to do something like this. She and Bjork really have an eye for great videos when it comes to art.

Went back and made videos for songs that weren't singles?
I was thinking about this earlier and I think she could pull it off. I don't mean like every song, but maybe fan album favs and personal favs she has. I imagine it could be part of a mega Madonna compilation.
