  1. So far 4 Minutes has topped the Itunes charts in 19 countries:

    Switzerland n° 1 peak

    Sweden n° 1 peak

    Ireland n° 1 peak

    Spain n° 1 peak

    Portugal n° 1 peak

    Norway n° 1 peak

    New Zealand n° 1 peak

    Netherlands n° 1 peak

    Luxembourg n° 1 peak

    Italy n° 1 peak

    Finland n° 1 peak

    Denmark n° 1 peak

    Canada n° 1 peak

    Belgium n° 1 peak

    Germany n° 1 peak

    Australia n° 1 peak

    France n° 1 peak

    UK n° 1 peak

    USA n° 1 peak

The only one still missing is Austria. Is that correct?

So much for a moderate hit.

  2. If it peaks in 40 million AI I am a bit dissapointed. With Justin on board it definetly SHOULD go top 10 on pop and peak AT LEAST 50 - 60 AI range.

It is only a moderate hit with 40 m AI. I mean it is not THAT much better than HU ~ 30, which was not considered a success on radio.

    Actually it's 42.5 million already.

I hope it will keep growing and eventually get to 60 M AI by the time the album comes out.

  3. I was waiting for someone to say this. Everyodys is just going on about how amazing airplay hit 4min is. When its not. Only pop stations love it.

Hope it would grow some more.

In the end it IS a pop song.

All joking aside, it would be nice if other formats could embrace it as well and as openly.

Oh well....we'll see what Ms. Carey will be capable of when she reaches the big 5-0!

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! But this is not going to chart right? WOW, you could see the power of AMERICAN IDOL... WBR should be watching this... we can only imagine when MARIAH belts her lungs out on APRIL 15 and 16... at least we can now see who is still gaining faster, TMB or 4M

Wow. 4 minutes is getting much closer to TMB.

The popularity bar for 4M used to be less than half but now it is much closer to TMB. It is indeed growing.

  5. Airplay have to at least double or even triple to reach Musics peak of 80 million. With the current trend (1m+ per day) it will take at least 30 weeks to reach that.

    30 weeks? mmm.....maybe you mean 30 to 45 days? ;-)

As Bad Robot has mentioned, Four Minutes could end up peaking in early May and by that time - who knows - her peak could be at around 60 million, thus matching DAD's airplay peak.

    You never know. Stay positive.

    :boxing:

  6. Doesnt include AC or Latin

    Hot AC............1.741

    Rhythmic.........3.819

    Rhytmic AC.....1.376

    Urban............. .055

    Top 40.............20.656

    Total.............. 27.674AI

also picked up 6 spins in LA! :dramatic:

    Almost 28 million AI.

    That's very good.

If only Urban started to get just a little bit on board.

Of course, we all hope that LA starts spinning it more. Of course, 6 spins a day would be great already if they kept playing it every day.

  7. #1 is unlikely.

If we use this week digital single figure, we'll get:

    TMB

    Digital 219K

    Airplay 107m

    Chart Point = 326 points

    4M

    Digital 138K + 36K + 13K = 187K

    Airplay 25m

    Chart Point = 212 points

Are these the official numbers for digital sales so far or just predictions based on last week numbers?

  8. 25/3

    Latin - 0.063

    RHY AC - 1.395

So the total - including Latin and RHY - is 26.759 M.

Is this still pretty good after 10 days at radio?

Hopefully the fact that LA KIIS seem to have made up their mind around playing it will have an impact on tomorrow's numbers.

Is Monday the last day for the HOT 100? Or is it Sunday? If 4 M manages somehow to reach at least 35 M by that time, that would be pretty good and then we only have to hope for the downloads to make up for the lack of airplay compared to the competitors.

  9. When it comes to KIIS I wouldn't be so sure... allthough you have a point about patience...

but truth is when it comes to KIIS... they so far lie people who request the song in the face... here's a qoute from Drownedmadonna: "Our reader Madonnag2 reports that he talked to somone at 102.7 KIIS FM in Los Angeles, and they said they are not playing ''4 Minutes'' because no one is requesting and it's not going anywhere on the radio market. We all know that’s a lie!!!!"...

And it's NOT the first one that says the sam thing...

they are pretending people not are requesting it.... and they going around acting like people doesn't wanna hear it...

sorry... I don't know bout the rest... but KIIS LA really got some lame problem with Madonna...

So how do you mean we should react??? Because not requesting the song will just give them the right not to play it... and obviously requesting doesn't matter either because they don't give a fuck... and we are just "crazy fans"... unlike the other people requesting other songs all the time... they are just "normal"...

So nowdays you're a "crazy" fan if you request a song of Madonna... but requesting every other shit song is alright it seems...

I don't buy that... If Madonna wasn't on board and it was just J&T on the single they would have already added it on their playlist... or if Madonna was changed to Rihanna, Fergie or Mariah...

I am sure that had it been Nelly Furtado, Justin and Timbaland, they would be playing the hell out of it. Of course, it doesn't take much to realize that 4 Minutes is a superior song when compared to last year's Give It To Me, which by the way I liked a lot.

Hopefully, other radio stations will prove that this is a song that people like and that they actually enjoy when it gets played on radio.

  10. all this drama already... and the song hasn't slowed down yet over at radio... i can only imagine when it does...

    :rotfl:

Unfortunately, there is very little to laugh about.

And of course it doesn't take much to understand that this has little to do with the song climbing the charts or slowing down. It's a sad thing and it would be sad all the same even if it was about any other artist. Truth is that this is a shameful side of the America of today. Hopefully things will change after a Democrat goes back to the White House.

  11. This LA thing is just ridiculous.

I mean, this is the United States. Has it really gotten to that point?

This is a fucking pop song and people are prevented from hearing it just because a few people with sexual and ageist issues decide not to play it. What has the world come to?

    This truly is sad.

It is obvious that a lot of people in the US are liking the song. Plus, I am sure that there are songs on their playlist which are 100.000 times less likeable or less appreciated than 4 minutes and still they get numerous spins.

I don't mean to offend anyone from the US, but if I were an American I would be really pissed and embarassed because this is just out of this world. This sounds like something that could happen in a country like China or some other country with no freedom. I mean, let people hear the damn song and let them make their own judgement on whether they like it or not. Ain't this what freedom and respect (of other people's opinions) are all about?

    Sad. Sad. Sad.

Thank God for the other radio stations who think otherwise.

  12. Zezwer, let's do some math together, shall we?

This airplay is tracked over two days. Every other song it's up against has 7 days.

There's no way you can guarantee that it will continue to grow every day this week at the same rate, but if it were to do so, it would be gaining about 350-400 spins a day and around 3.5-4m audience impressions a day.

    Let's multiply that times 7.

That's 2450-2800 spins with an audience of 24.5-28m in one week.

Which would mean almost reaching Hung Up's airplay peak in its FIRST WEEK alone.

Pop spins are increasing at about 250-300 a day, so that would be 1750-2100 spins in a week, putting it at around #28-25 on the Top 40 Mainstream chart and make it the fastest growing song at pop radio by a margin of 500-700 spins higher than the runner up.

Now there's no way to guarantee it will maintain this rate all week, but even if it falls a few hundred spins and a few million audience impressions below that, it will still be a very big debut.

Your stubborn insistence on baseless negativity is REALLY annoying and incredibly misleading.

    I like this.

Thank you for taking the time to explain.

Do you think what Mtribe people predict for tomorrow (12.5 M) is realistic? If it does happen, would that be a major leap forward or nothing to be particularly excited about? Sorry if this is a stupid question. :shy:
