  1. I know that. What I was confused about was actually the size of the venues in relation to the number of dates that are scheduled and the fact that there is only room for another date without having any conflicts. So the question is: why should she play 2 concerts with a smaller audience and therefore smaller revenues (if she doesn´t raise ticket prices) if she could play 1 stadium date again?

actually it makes sense, i dont thik she could play stadium again

  2. No, it's only because after fucking 15 years Madonna is coming back and some people like you just can't enjoy the moment. I don't want to keep on loosing energie on this right now. This is going nowhere, Brasil is the way Brasil should be rigt now, as the world, as Madonna. Or maybe you want to go back and discuss the origins of modern western cultures blablabla. The world is a big "plutocracy", if you expand your point of view. And Madonna is part of the american way of life = capitalism, let's not forget. Again, let's not be naive.

Then, I don't consider vip lounges any kind of exploitation, altough I myself paid more than U$1.000 to see her 3 concerts in SP and some are going for free with all the luxury. Music is business, Madonna = money. Let's move on and keep this thread focused now...

It's fucking Madonna back again in Brasil and it's better her shake her ass beautifully here!!!

    :manson:

  3. All this continet (Except USA And Canada) it's the Third World

    i agree

3rd world country term might be innacurate and technically incorrect (since the end of cold war), but the reality is the same, no matter how much we try to cover it up with nice neighbourhood and malls and big buildings, even if you look at the numbers, there are some big economies, but when you live here the social differences are obvious and outrageous and the poverty is still in extreme levels in most countries. The label doesnt make a difference.

anyway, still is a big market for concerts and im happy Madonna was able to make it, and she better remember 2 most important things, she can make a lot of money and her fans adore her here (money and ego boost all in one package!)

  4. I managed to capture a couple of news reports about the show.. the hechos reporter is annoying, he said that although a lot of people were impressed.. (he emphasized) that others were expecting more. Whatever!

But I love her big smile in the first video, when her throne is turning and she sees the audience for the first time :inlove:

    =

    No Japan

    No Mexico

    we´ll keep you posted.

i still dont understand why would she come all the way back to Mexico just to be in 2 cities

  6. notice how people were watching the concert from a bridge....people were singing to candy shop and yelling madonna, how sweet :D

and everybody kept saying "she sang everything i wanted to hear" which is not surprising since Madonna has been consistently successful with every album in latinamerica. i think most of the request in this region might be recent songs....

    Madonna finishes her 'sweet' concert

Songs like "Ray of Light", "Like a Prayer" and "Hung Up" completed the set of the singer on his first concert at the Foro Sol.

Mexico City (November 29, 2008) .- In the last part of the concert's Sticky & Sweet Tour 2008 Madonna at the Foro Sol, divided into segments conceptual "Gypsy" and "Rave", the 50 thousand attendees who entered , According to OCESA, vibrates with the singer.

With the songs "Devil Would not Recognize You", "Spanish Lesson" and "Miles Away", the public was receptive and attentive to what he was doing the diva on stage, but as the first two have not been promotional singles so not all people were turned on.

"This is a very good opportunity to say that I am happy to be back here after so many years, thank you very much, I think this is the best way to begin my tour of South America," he said before singing "You Must Love Me" .

In the musical variety of sweets, people found a taste for the presence of the star and his style.

At the end of "Get Stupid", appeared on the screen an image of the newly elected President of the United States, Barack Obama, which got a large ovation.

And it was in this segment in which Madonna seized more than at any time to sing those attending the "4 Minutes," "Like a Prayer" and "Ray of Light."

As usual and as it has in other concerts in different parts of the world, asked the public to elect a song and from which he was asked, the winner was "Sorry". The interpreted only with his acoustic guitar and so.

The paladeo of sweets and candy with the stamp of the Queen of Pop ended with "Hung Up", which put everyone to dance and chant and gave it to the final with "Give It 2 Me."
