Sorry to hear of the Madonna Store Debacles. We just ordered shirts (with the digital album), so hopefully no major issues. lol
-
Did this thread REALLY take the turn it did?
-
I couldn't participate, as I had not heard the three extra tracks as of yet. I'll post my ratings later on.
Thanks for doing this, Curtains.
-
I know; just something that's stuck with me since my fifth-grade teacher in Brooklyn passed on that practice.
-
Thanks for the good words, madonnaman.
-
Oh, madonnaman.
It's tough to choose five, because it's a strong work, but as of right now, in tracklist order (though GC is my top overall):
G-d Control
Dark Ballet
Come Alive
Extreme Occident
Looking For Mercy

Why would a performance that wasn't broadcast result in significant movement on iTunes?
-
Didn't do that Facebook link, as it looked somewhat fishy.
-
Thanks for the heads-up. Enjoyable and insightful. I wonder if that's how she's going to perform LAV on the tour.
-
Fireworks at the event are around 10 p.m. EST, so before then.
Hope those who attend enjoy it. We opted for the tour (pricey enough), and also seeing another Queen, Ms. Diana Ross, Thursday evening in Bethlehem, Pa.
-
The CD is worked into the price of tickets, for all acts. So it's not "free." The option to purchase the album was there, in the event tickets were not secured.
-
I doubt Madonna doesn't like HU- when Celebration was released, she said it was the first track on the album because it's "kick-ass." And she did perform it as part of the MDNA Tour.
As said earlier, maybe in the other thread- it doesn't matter the kind of event- it's evident that "What would they want to hear" doesn't influence her all that much.

We received an email for one of the T-shirts, saying it's shipped. No word yet on the Pride shirt.
-
"Killers..." wasn't a favorite from first listen, but ti works just fine in the context of the album. Same for '"Batuka."
-
Seems some merchandise items were going to ship late this month; some had a note on the website saying July.
-
Thanks, frzn. True, the standard and single-CD deluxe do not have the track credits in the booklet.
-
For those who got the double CD- I read the booklet also lists the songs/credits, a la the vinyl? Thanks.
-
As expected, epic. Will rank among the very best in her videography.,
-
^Anything's better than- gasp- Snapchat.
-
Yah, showing the full clip is unlikely. Kinda silly if it's just 30 seconds-1 minute or something for a "premiere."
-
^Indeed. Enjoy the glories, even if it's just for a week.
-
So, the regular vinyl edition has the 15 tracks and credits on the sleeves, it looks? FYE is having a 25% off sale today, so contemplating getting it.
EDIT: Says it's not currently available.
-
All quiet on the Pride front...
-
Just a note- only audio views count toward the multi-metric albums chart. But perhaps the video could add a few extra late-week album sales.
Hoping the video's as epic as it seems it's going to be.

Our two shirts- separate orders, as it cost a little less to ship them individually than together- were both at the post office today. We had received a n it's-been-shippped email for one, but not the other.
The World Pride shirt is a nice one to have, especially as we weren't at the event.
